Awesamdude, a menudo puesto simplemente como Sam, es uno de los ocho miembros originales del SMP, del que es el quinto, y se unió el 28 de abril de 2020. Es ciudadano de las Badlands. Aspecto

Personalidad

Pre-Prisión

Awesamdude era una parte neutral amistosa en el servidor y una persona dulce, que quería ayudar a la gente y a menudo iba por ahí ofreciéndoles pastel de calabaza. Sin embargo, también era miembro de las Badlands, una facción que pretendía causar el caos en el servidor, y estaba dispuesto a hacer cosas moralmente grises para su beneficio personal, como construir la Bóveda de Pandora como comisión y hacer que Puffy le diera el Tótem de Inmortalidad que iba a ser el hijo de Foolish.

Post-Prisión

Awesamdude, tras convertirse en el guardián de la Bóveda de Pandora, se comprometió mucho con su deber. Su personalidad cambia completamente cuando alguien quiere entrar en la prisión, volviéndose frío y severo. Prioriza mantener a Dream encerrado en la prisión por encima de todo, incluso del bienestar de su perro Fran. Defiende con dureza las normas de la prisión, llegando a torturar a Ponk y a cortarle un brazo por robar tarjetas de acceso. Su salud mental está claramente degradada, con un trauma causado por estar atrapado con el Huevo y por pasar tanto tiempo en contacto con Dream. Esto le lleva a tomar malas decisiones, así como a buscar consuelo lejos del resto del servidor. Aunque sigue creyendo que lo que hace es moralmente bueno, desde un punto de vista externo a menudo puede parecer que no lo es.

Defectos

El principal defecto de Sam es su confianza excesiva. Afirma constantemente que está "agrietado en la nave." Su intelecto en piedra roja y conocimiento del juego es inconmensurable. También retiene vastas sumas de riqueza material, mantiene una habilidad decente de PVP, y es miembro de una facción fuerte que se eleva lentamente pero firmemente al poder. Pero sólo porque uno tiene una habilidad decente PVP y algunos de los mejores equipos en el juego no significa que podrían vencer a nadie. Sam desafió a Dream y a otros con el mismo equipo, subestimando sus habilidades PVP, y como Techno lo pondría "...¡se destruyó!" Sobre el mismo tema, también odia o no prefiere perder, especialmente en los partidos de PVP, lo que le hace decir o hacer sarpullido y cosas desagradables sobre cualquier cosa.

Historia

Inactividad y regreso al SMP

Awesamdude fue uno de los ocho miembros originales del SMP junto a Dream, George, Sapnap, Callahan, Alyssa, Ponk y BadBoyHalo. Hizo su primera aparición en el servidor durante una de las transmisiones de George en Twitch el 28 de abril de 2020. Sin embargo, debido a conflictos debido a la universidad, Awesamdude no pudo jugar, haciéndole inactivo durante varios meses. El 23 de septiembre de 2020, Awesamdude regresó al servidor, para sorpresa de muchas personas que no sabían de quién era en ese momento.

Awesamdude comenzó a transmitir el SMP el 5 de octubre de 2020. Cuando regresó al SMP después de meses de inactividad, comenzó a hacer una base en el Gran Dream SMP, pero finalmente decidió reubicarse en una base secreta en una montaña de piedra lejana que podría ser fácilmente accesible a través de la Nether para proteger a su preciada mascota, Fran. George y Sapnap se convirtieron en sus compañeros de habitación después de que comenzó la construcción de la nueva base.

Rebelión de Manberg

Aunque originalmente había elegido permanecer neutral, aceptó dar a Tommy un refugio si algo malo iba a suceder. Después del Festival de Manberg, Schlatt quería tomar el Camarvan y matar a un gato de mascotas ofrecido por Ponk. Esto puso a Sam en contra de Schlatt, ya que no podía soportar ver tal mal. Awesamdude se unió a BadBoyHalo y Antfrost en la formación de su propia facción en la guerra, que usaría puntos de referencia fuera de cada una de las cuatro direcciones del servidor para mantener el caos entre Pogtopia y Manberg.

Segunda Guerra de Mascotas

Sam ayudó a Punz a traer un panda que encontró mientras buscaba un tridente. Después de que sus compañeros de Badlands, Antfrost y BadBoyHalo causaran indirectamente la muerte del panda, Awesamdude luchó a lo largo de su lado, agarrando secretamente pociones y flechas de su base en preparación para la batalla que se avecina. Su chat le dijo a Punz que les estaba ayudando, pero a Punz no le importaba. La batalla resultó en última instancia en una victoria para los Badlands.

Manberg vs Guerra de Pogtopia

El alistamiento de Sam en las Badlands lo puso en contra de Pogtopia y Manberg. Sin embargo, había establecido personalmente buenas relaciones con los miembros de Pogtopia. Cuando se enteraron de que Dream se alió con Manberg y traicionó a Pogtopia, los Badlands se pusieron del lado de los pogtopianos. El objetivo principal de los Badlands no era apoyar a Pogtopia, sino asegurarse de que el conflicto continuara entre los dos bandos. Sam estaba en cierto modo en conflicto, ya que era leal a los Badland pero también quería mantener relaciones positivas tanto con Tommy como con Tubbo.

Sam prometió su lealtad a TommyInnit después de que Dream revelara que estaba del lado de Manberg, regalándole pociones y una cabeza de creeper que podía utilizarse para invocarlo. En un principio, Sam se alió con Pogtopia/L'Manberg durante la guerra. Sin embargo, junto con el resto de los Badlands, se volvió una vez que Technoblade comenzó a seguir sus verdaderos ideales en lugar de seguir la nueva administración de Tubbo, debido a su odio por el gobierno.

Reconstruction

Sam continued his work on the Guardian XP Farm and also attended Schlatt's funeral. After the funeral, he arrived at BadBoyHalo's mansion with Quackity, Puffy, Bad, and Punz, where Quackity revealed his true ambitions to resurrect Schlatt and use him as a political figure to overthrow Tubbo. Bad, Sam, and Punz pledged loyalty to Quackity, allowing him to carry on with his plan. Quackity gave Sam Schlatt's organs so that they could resurrect Schlatt on a night with a full moon. However, Sam and the rest of the coup questioned the plan. Sam didn't want to betray his friends Tubbo and Tommy, Bad did not care about the plan due to him having larger priorities, and Punz was fearful due to an old saying that when a living being is revived, that person will return stronger and more vile/evil than before. Sam keeps the remains within his base so it is unsure of what he will decide.

Personal Projects

Sam is currently done his the Guardian XP Farm with Tubbo, as well as zombie grinders and spider grinders. He has also been commissioned by Dream to build a supposedly inescapable prison known as Pandora's Vault.

The Prison

Dream recruited Sam to build Pandora's Vault, a maximum security, inescapable prison. He was given a time limit of 20 days, and began construction in an ocean that is part of Badlands territory. BadBoyHalo was upset about his shoreline, but Sam and Dream explained the situation to him, and excited him about the rise in property value. Bad then showed the two something he found in his statue room: a red egg with vines. Dream and Sam both showed a disliking towards the egg, although Sam disliked it more so.

Blood Vines

When Bad became seemingly mind controlled by the Egg, Sam worked against him, destroying the vines. Bad has since come to his senses and stoped himself and others from being controlled by the vines. Sam has become psychologically impacted by the Crimson, terrified by how fast it spreads and how it is impacted his friends, and fellow faction members. He claims the Crimson spreads "bad juju".

Antfrost	Neutral/Positive	Sam and Ant have a very positive relationship, which can be seen generally throughout Ant's first days around the server and Sam's return. They can be found roaming around the SMP together a lot, and also formed the Badlands together with Bad. Sam and Ant worked as a team during The $10000 Dollar Taco Bell Gift Card event, and fought alongside together during The Second Pet War. Their relationship, however, has recently faltered due to their differing opinions on the Crimson Egg: Ant thinks that it should be protected, while Sam thinks it is bad juju and should be destroyed.
BadBoyHalo	Neutral/Positive	Awesamdude and BadBoyHalo have a positive relationship, with Bad contracting Sam to build him a piston door in exchange for supplies. Sam eventually joined the Badlands with BBH and Antfrost. Their relationship, however, has recently faltered due to their differing opinions on the Crimson Egg: Bad has become obsessed with it and tries to protect it, while Sam thinks it is bad juju and should be destroyed.

Awesamdude knew that Fundy was up to something, so he did not show him his actual base and only the decoy base. Fundy also detected that Awesamdude was hiding a secret, but decided not to investigate further.
GeorgeNotFound	Neutral/Positive	George was Awesamdude's roommate. They decided to become roommates when Awesamdude saw how weak George was and sympathized, as he too was weak. Sam developed a fatherly relationship with George, and when George moved out, Sam wanted him to move back in.
Schlatt	Negative	Awesamdude originally had no opinion on Manberg and Schlatt, but after the Manberg Festival, Awesamdude witnessed Schlatt's tyranny. Sam, not agreeing with Schlatt's tyranny, took a stand against Schlatt and started assassinating him.
Karl Jacobs	Neutral/Positive	Karl and Awesamdude are neutral friends. Karl decided to move in after Sapnap's room was built. Their friendship was fractured due to Karl nearly accidentally killing Earl before Earl went missing on his watch, but Sam seems to have forgiven him.
LazarBeam	Positive	Sam helped guide Lazar and Vikk to the jungle in order to get pure "untainted" melons, forming a positive relationship. Sam also allowed Lazarbeam and Vikkstar to visit his base, granting them unlimited access to all facilities, and led Lazar to a village to trade for Mending and Silk Touch books.
Punz	Positive	Sam and Punz have always had a friendly relationship. Though they did fight during the second pet war, Punz never held anything against him for doing so. They have been grouped together in conflicts and events multiple times. The two were grouped together to assist with Quackity's date. When the crimson vines started growing, Antfrost and Bad attacked Sam after they tried breaking the eggs. Punz stopped the fight, pretended to find the egg strange but harmless and left the area with Sam. He and Sam actively worked together to stop any growth of the blood vines.
Ponk	Positive	They used to be pretty friendly with each other, but after Ponk's experiment, Sam did not like him as much. However, Sam forgave him in the end, and Sam considers Ponk his friend, with Ponk thinking the same. Sam was concerned about Ponk's attraction to Lil Red.
Quackity	Positive	Sam has a fatherly relationship with Quackity. Sam has provided Quackity with resources to mine netherite on multiple occasions after he kept dying.
Sapnap	Positive	Awesamdude is good friends with Sapnap. During the Items Conflict, Sapnap threatened to kill Fran. However, Sam forgave Sapnap. Sam later helped Tommy and Sapnap with their drug operation and also showed off his secret base to them. When he showed the base to them, Sapnap wanted to become his roommate, and Sam accepted the request by building him a nether-themed room.
TommyInnit	Positive	Awesamdude was very friendly with Tommy when they met. He provided Tommy with ender pearls when he needed help to get his items back from The Hole after he died. He then helped Tommy and Sapnap with their drug operation and trusted him enough to show off his secret base. Tommy is always welcome to his base when he needs a break from conflict.
Tubbo	Positive	Awesamdude and Tubbo have a positive relationship, and share a common interest in redstone and other types of redstone adjacent builds. Together, they are currently working to drain the ocean, and often work together to gather resources. Sam has stated that he considers Tubbo one of his best friends of the server.

Trivia

• Sam is considered partially British, as he made a deal with Tommy by buying Tubbo Watch/Bath Water.
• Sam has spent the most time on the SMP out of anyone, overtaking Tubbo who previously held the title.
• Sam has the most tridents on the server.
  • However, this has possibly been overtaken, as Dream has constructed a massive drowned trident farm in the middle of an ocean biome, which was able to generate tridents extremely efficiently. Dream has since taken down the spawner.
• Sam has some of the most positive relationships on the server.
