BadBoyHalo, more commonly known as Bad or BBH, is the de-facto leader of The Badlands. He is the father of Sapnap, and is Skeppy's best friend.

Appearance

BadBoyHalo is a humanoid demon with white eyes. His face is shadowed by his hood. He wears a black and red hoodie, with black and red pants and gray shoes. Strapped to his back, he has a diamond sword.

Leeched

After Bad was fully taken over by the egg, the red accents from his clothes were replaced by white accents to fuel the egg's strange lust for red.

Personality

BadBoyHalo is a generally kind individual who will often help people regardless of their side in conflict. He hates swearing so much especially on his streams, and will often tell people off for naughty language, most notably Tommy and Quackity. He can be seen as somewhat of a "dad friend," and Sapnap sometimes refers to his as "DadBoyHalo". He attempts to stay neutral at all times, and only chooses sides that he believes will benefit the Badlands in the long run. Despite his want for peace, he's been shown to have a chaotic side, particularly wanting to fan the flames of war so long as the Badlands are not involved.

Wilbur has stated that Bad's D&D alignment is true neutral.

The Crimson's Influence

When Bad discovered the Egg inside his statue room, it quickly clouded his mind with a strong desire to protect the Egg and to aid in its spread of Blood Vines across the server. While Bad's personality remains fundamentally the same, he goes through some noticeable changes. He quickly becomes violent with whomever threatens to harm the Egg, even if they are good friends. When Sam tried to break the Egg, Bad and Ant threatened they would have to kill him, or blow up his base as revenge. Despite this, he still has an aversion towards violence, but his love for the Egg surpasses his want for civility. The only thing Bad seems to cherish more than the Egg is Skeppy.

The Crimson's Corruption

After being corrupt once again by the Crimson, Bad became a religious zealot toward the egg, wishing for the entire world to become covered with the Crimson's roots. It is simply a stronger version of the influence, if you will.

Flaws

Bad's main flaw is his nature to get overly emotional. Even though he is a generally bubbly and friendly individual, he will start cussing people out in his own "curse words" (i.e: muffinhead) due to him disliking swears. Whenever someone swears, he would stop whatever he was doing and begin his routine of yelling language and then lecturing them by using his own dictionary of curse words.

History

Pre-Disc Saga

BadBoyHalo is one of the eight original SMP members, along with Dream, George, Sapnap, Callahan, Alyssa, Awesamdude, & Ponk.

Post-War

After the Dream Team SMP vs L'Manberg War, BadBoyHalo moved into Punz's basement and built his Dream, Duck, and Fundy Statues.

Post-Election

After the election, BadBoyHalo remained a neutral party. He and Eret had found Pogtopia, but decided to leave it alone and keep it a secret. He helped with Party Island by building the Pokimane statue.

When Skeppy returned to the SMP, he started playing with him. Skeppy gave Tommy's Cat disc to BadBoyHalo, forming a truce by promising to keep it between them. With their friendship, Bad and Skeppy built the Quartz Mansion and a vault to protect their belongings.

After the tragic death of Henry, he was accused of destroying the Eiffel Tower by Tommy. As he wanted revenge, he decided to join Sapnap during the Battle of the Lake. Although his team lost the battle, Bad was spared by the opposing side after he threatened to burn Tommy's Cat disc.

BadBoyHalo was involved in The Second Pet War after Badlands member Antfrost indirectly caused Punz's panda to die. He fought alongside Awesamdude and Antfrost, which resulted in the Badlands first victory.

The Crimson Egg

BadBoyHalo discovered a crimson egg and was one of the first to be possessed. BadBoyHalo seems to be very very protective of the egg, calling it his "baby", and "pretty." Every other member who saw it seems to be taking a dislike towards it, with an exception of Captain Puffy, Ponk and Antfrost, and can't seem to understand why Bad is protecting it. Bad seems to be able to hear what it says, and will threaten to hurt anyone if they harm it.

Sapnap attempted to blow up part of the egg and cracked it, making Bad panic. He said he needed flesh to heal it, and asked Sapnap and Awesamdude to sacrifice one of themselves. They ran away and Bad gave it chicken. Sam and Sapnap returned with holy water. Bad wasn't too upset, and just wanted to convince Sam and Sapnap that it's fine and show them that the egg was angry. However, as the two started destroying clumps of vines outside of the egg room, Bad yelled at them to stop.

When Bad isn't focused on the egg, he behaves mostly the same as usual. He has done his best to help his friends. Bad has also given Tommy several gifts, including a music disc, and made sure he knows it isn't from pity. He built Tommy a Tubbo statue with the help of Puffy.

In an effort to protect the egg from outside harm, Bad and Ant covered it in obsidian. Afterwards, Bad and Puffy noticed that they cared less about the egg and didn't mind destroying it's Blood Vines around the server. Ant later joined and agreed with the two, helping them to destroy almost all of the Blood Vines around the server, only leaving Ponk's mutated vines and the egg itself intact. Recently, Bad and Ant have been experimenting with the egg in an attempt to learn more about its influence and how exposure to the egg can affect obsidian and the colors of various blocks and objects. He and Punz also found out it has grown, and Bad discovered a way to keep infected people safe from the egg while it’s uncovered.

Bad and Ant have attempted multiple experiments in order to free Skeppy from the eggs influence, with one experiment being a relative success. However Bad has been show to be more violent then usual, but is still adamant that he is not under the eggs influence.

But eventually Bad came under the influence of the egg and has been recently plotting the egg's takeover of the SMP. He purposely hosted a meeting between himself, Puffy, Antfrost and Punz directly above the egg in an attempt to put them under its influence. So far Bad has been able to hide the fact that he himself is under the egg's influence therefor tricking his allies into thinking that he is himself.

This plan was somewhat successful with Bad being able to convince Ant, Puffy and Punz to go and see the egg without any sort of protection and assist him in releasing the egg and allowing it to grow in amongst the remains of L'Manberg. The others are immediately put under the eggs influence, the only person not to be fooled is Puffy, who uses her book to break the spell over her. However she still helps Bad plant the seeds in order to gain his trust.

Antfrost	Positive	BadBoyHalo and Antfrost are both fellow Badlanders. The two are great allies, fighting in the Second Pet War and the War of the Burning Eiffel Tower together. The two have bonded over the shared connection towards the Crimson Egg and the Blood Vines - both having the same intense need to protect the Egg and have the vines spread across the entire server. Bad and Ant are the only two who are able to hear the Crimson speak to them. Together, they have planted several spores around the server and feed the vines to improve their rapid growth. After breaking free from the Egg's mind control, they and Puffy plot to save Skeppy and stop the spread of the Blood Vines, as well as study the vines and the Egg.
Captain Puffy	Positive	Puffy and Bad are good friends, usually helping each other with building projects. When Puffy was new to the SMP he allowed her to live inside Bubbles the duck statue, and together re-built Bubbles when it was destroyed by Tommy. Puffy offers to be Bad's "Walmart", or "Discount Skeppy" as Bad calls her, whenever he is missing his friend. Despite their positive friendship, Puffy has made jokes about their friendship being one-sided, and that Bad never stops mentioning Skeppy enough to appreciate her company. Bad and Puffy also bond over the both of them being corrupted by the Crimson and are shown to be equally infatuated with the Egg. After breaking free from the Egg's mind control, they and Antfrost plot to save Skeppy and stop the spread of the Blood Vines, as well as study the vines and the Egg.
Awesamdude	Neutral/Positive	Awesamdude was contracted by BadBoyHalo to build a piston door in his mansion. The two made a deal for the build, where Bad would give him some supplies in return for Awesamdude building the door. After the Manberg Festival, Awesamdude joined BBH in creating a third faction, as they disapproved of Schlatt's tyranny. Recently, Sam has come into conflict with Bad and Antfrost over the Crimson Egg. While BadBoyHalo and Antfrost are attempting to protect the egg, Sam suspects that it is evil.
Punz	Archivo:RelationshipNeutral LargePixelArt.png Neutral	Their relationship was relatively good, Bad living in his house and even helping him in the Items Conflict. They were good friends until Punz' betrayal in the Battle of the Lake. However, BadBoyHalo has forgiven Punz. They did fight in the Second Pet War however, with Bad going as far as trying to downplay Antfrost’s actions and manipulating Punz into thinking he was in the wrong. They didn’t seem to hold anything against each other post war though. When Punz discovered the blood vines in Bad's underground cavern, he expressed discomfort and concern, causing Bad to try converting him into thinking that it was a good thing. However, this action proved to be useless as Punz didn't change his mind. Despite the blood vine dispute of Punz removing the blood vines he sees around the SMP, there doesn't seem to be any bad blood between them, and Punz even expressed some concern over Bad's obsession over the vines.
Quackity	Neutral/Positive	Quackity loves to poke fun at Bad, especially about he and Skeppy, much to Bad's annoyance. During most of their interactions, Quackity irritates Bad by using swear words or jokingly flirting with him. Quackity has been on a date with BadBoyHalo, which ended with Bad rejecting him. Despite Bad often times getting fed up with Quackity's shenanigans, they have been seen getting along, such as when they pranked the image with embarrassing images, and the two have expressed wanting to get to know each other better.
Skeppy	Neutral/Positive	Skeppy and Bad were best friends, and roommates in the quartz mansion they built together. They occasionally troll and argue with one another, but Bad would do anything for Skeppy at the end of the day, and is often subjected to teasing from the other SMP members about his close friendship with Skeppy. The two trust each other not to lose Tommy's Cat disc, and trade it back and forth regularly. Bad is very protective over Skeppy, shown in his anxiety over the idea of Skeppy being hurt from potential escaped criminals from Awesamdude's prison. Skeppy and Bad have been under some conflict due to Bad struggling with deciding what he cares about more; Skeppy or the Crimson Egg. When asked by Skeppy if Bad would choose him or the Egg, Bad hesitated, saying that he would choose both of them. Skeppy kept pushing the question, before getting upset and leaving when Bad struggled to choose. Eventually, in a moment of clarity from the Egg's effect on him, Bad told Skeppy he would choose him, and showed little concern for the Egg after Skeppy trapped himself inside of it – eager to save his friend no matter what. After Skeppy got corrupted, their relationship had strained. This can be shown when Skeppy had chosen Technoblade as a bestfriend over him and distancing from him in his new hut.
Tommy	Neutral/Positive	They've had bad relations from the start with Tommy always messing with Bad by cursing. They also fought against each other in the War of the Burning Eiffel Tower after Tommy attempted to frame Bad for burning down the tower. Recently, however, Bad gave Tommy some items after being exiled, including a Chirp disc. Tommy was hesitant to accept them, thinking they were "pity items", but soon accepted them.
