The Greater Dream SMP (formerly the Dream SMP (faction)) is the second-oldest faction on the server.
It is a shogunate dictatorship with the king (a figurehead) being Eret. However, he is more of a figure than an actual leadd part of this faction, but since the war, the faction’s territory has been defined as anything relatively close to spawn that is located outside of L'Manberg and more recently, the Badlands.
Even though the two factions are officially recognized as independent, members of the Dream SMP previously saw everything as theirs, and in their eyes, L'Manberg and Badlands did not exist. However, on the 4th of December 2020, after Tommy's exile from L'Manberg, Dream officially recognized L'Manberg an independent nation.
History[]

L'Manberg Secession[]

When L'Manberg retreated, Dream recruited neutrals of the server as well as close friends into a lose federation with Dream at the top. Dream, along with George, Sapnap, and Punz, declared war on L'Manberg and began their attack by bombing both the Embassy of L'Manberg and L'Manberg itself. This, along with Eret betraying L'Manberg in exchange for being crowned king of the Dream SMP, made it clear that the Dream SMP had won. But after Tommy promised Dream the discs in exchange for independence, Dream had no choice but to obligate. The war resulted in there being two factions, L’Manberg and Dream SMP.
Peacetime[]
After the war, the faction decided that they needed two figures for the actual faction to come to power instead of warlords controlling respective territories. Therefore, Dream crowned Eret as king. There was relative peace in both the Dream SMP and L'Manberg after the war, with the occasional fighting or small conflict with L'Manberg, such as The Railway Skirmish and The Pet War. Most people who joined during this time became part of L'Manberg rather than the Dream SMP, but builds were still being built in the Dream SMP regardless, the most notable place built being The Holy Land, a peaceful zone that was not actually in the Dream SMP faction, but was completely surrounded by it.
L'Manberg Election[]

When the SWAG2020 vs POG2020 Election was announced, many people in the Dream SMP took sides as to who should win. Surprisingly, Quackity and George, two citizens of the Dream SMP at the time, decided to run for president and vice president of L'Manberg, meaning that they would become citizens of L'Manberg if they won.
Manberg Rebellion[]

Throughout the period of the Manberg Rebellion, the Dream SMP acted as an area of neutrality, with some conflicts occasionally breaking out. Many more builds were created in the Dream SMP during this period. Despite the massive loss of citizens and territory, the Dream SMP still remained powerful due to most of its citizens having acquired full netherite armor unlike most of the other nations, who had diminished power due to war efforts. Even so, the unification that had once been held in this faction was almost completely gone, with most citizens choosing to stay out of conflicts or just starting their own conflicts instead of working together. The amount of territory the Dream SMP had was moderately diminished by the creation of the Badlands. Sapnap was notorious for having caused conflicts during this time, notably sparking The Second Pet War. Most of the original members of the faction supported Schlatt, and the others either joined the Badlands or joined Pogtopia's side in the Manberg vs Pogtopia War. Pogtopia was victorious, despite Wilbur and Techno blowing most of the reclaimed L’Manberg up. It was revealed that Dream and Wilbur had conspired to blow up L’Manberg regardless of who won the war.
Transition of Power[]
Following Eret's siding with Pogtopia during the Manberg vs Pogtopia War, Eret was ousted, and George was officially crowned king due to the line of succession. Eret and HBomb were still allowed to live in the castle. Eret still owned every part of it except the throne room. George’s first act as king was to “officially” recognize the Badlands as a nation. He was assassinated by Technoblade not long after, however he lived.
The Dethronement Fallout[]
However, Dream noticed that George didn't perform his duties as king very well, and he was constantly being attacked by different parties. Caring too much about George, Dream decided to transfer kingship back to Eret. Dream also noted that George was inattentive to his duties, and Eret had much better relations with the other nations of the server. On December 3rd, Eret was officially reinstated as King of the Greater Dream SMP.
Domination[]
On the sixth of January, 2021, the AAC and Dream declared war on the People's Republic of L'Manberg. The next day, Dream came to Technoblade's cabin. Dream, Technoblade, and Philza headed out to L'Manberg armed to the teeth with explosives, healing supplies, weapons, etc. Technoblade distracted the unorganized L'Manbergian defense group, which provided a diversion for Dream to set up the rapid-fire TNT cannons above L'Manberg. After the fall of L'Manberg, the land was left a haunted and barren wasteland. The AAC had emerged victorious and had gone back to their dormant state. L'Manberg, now known as L'Canyon, is now uncontested land, ripe for the taking for the Dream SMP, the Badlands, etc.

Armory[]
- Enchanted Netherite Armor and Weapons - The Greater Dream SMP holds more territory than most factions on the server, allowing them to acquire vast amounts of resources from their claimed territories. They also control the community spider farm, which allows them to acquire large amounts of experience levels to achieve powerful enchantments.
- TNT - Outlawed by most countries, TNT remains as a stashed weapon by the king: Eret.
- Bows/Crossbows - Powerful ranged weapons that can be enchanted with a variety of enchantments (Flame, Infinity, Power, Piercing, Multi-shot, etc.).
- Tridents - Legalized recently, tridents are only to be used by officials and military personnel.
- Mobile TNT Siege Engine (Prototype) - Only used once ever in Dream SMP history, the Mobile Siege Engine was used to break down L'Manberg's formidable defenses. The design wasn't exactly mobile, as it had to be disassembled and then it would become mobile, but it was mobile enough to transfer it across long distances.
