Eret is the king of the Dream SMP and a former revolutionary of L'Manberg. Though he was briefly removed from the position during the Manberg vs Pogtopia War up until the Dethronement Fallout, he since reclaimed his royal title from Dream.
Due to his turncoat actions in the Dream Team SMP vs. L'Manberg War, he briefly served as an antagonist to L'Manberg, and was considered by many as a traitor. He has since made an effort to redeem himself, assisting Pogtopia in The Manberg Rebellion Arc, and attempting to revive one of the people he hurt, Wilbur Soot.
Appearance[]
Eret is a human with light skin, brown hair, and pure white eyes. He always wears sunglasses to cover his eyes. He wears a crown, a red coat, a gray shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
Personality[]
Despite his betrayal of L'Manberg, Eret is a very kind and caring individual. He often leaves pink wool in people's chests with the message "You Matter," and usually spends his time building. His most substantial build is his castle, also known as the Pride Palace. Eret enjoys talking to many of the members of the server, as he is very amiable, and willing to speak to anyone no matter what past or previous conflicts they may have had. He even allowed HBomb94 to stay in his castle.
Eret has a strong sense of justice, and feels the need to stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. Notably, he seems to deeply regret his betrayal, as he wants to help Pogtopia in their efforts. Unfortunately, Eret gets rejected almost every time he tries to help Pogtopia, as his betrayal always gets mentioned. Eret is trying to prove his loyalty, and while challenging, he is willing to do what he can in order to show that he truly wants to support them.
Wilbur has said that Eret's D&D alignment is chaotic neutral. [1]

Flaws[]
Eret's main flaw is his need to succeed. He betrayed his friends to become king when he thought Dream would win, but betrays Dream when he sees that Pogtopia was more likely to win the war. He will go to whichever side is more likely to win, then betray them when they lose. However, he's reluctant to hurt his friends, but will ultimately put his success over them.
History[]
Pre-War[]
Before the war, Eret built his iconic Castle and partook in killing the first withers of the server. He and Fundy started a prank war that lasted for several streams, which was initially griefing each other, but eventually turned into a fun prank war.
Dream Team SMP vs. L'Manberg War[]

At the beginning of the war, Eret joined L'Manberg's side, building up the walls of L'Manberg and preparing the nation for war. However, Dream made a deal with Eret, where Eret would become king of Dream SMP if he betrayed L'Manberg. Eret agreed to the terms, and lead the L'Manbergians into the Final Control Room where he said his famous quote, "Down with the revolution, boys! It was never meant to be." After the betrayal, Wilbur and Tommy had a negative relationship.
Post-War[]
After the war, as a king, Eret built giant watch towers on the edge of L'Manberg's borders to overlook the area and keep the nation in check. The prank war with Fundy was still going on, and Fundy pranked the towers. Eret responded by rebuilding them with obsidian pillars. Later, Fundy covered the windows of the towers with rainbows, and Eret was pleased, so he commissioned a Fundy statue built next his base as a positive prank.
Eret also participated in Dream's $5000 Deal or No Deal event on the server.
2020 L'Manberg Election[]

Manberg Rebellion[]

During the Manberg Rebellion, Eret warned Schlatt about destroying history and openly supported Pogtopia. However, Tommy and Wilbur rejected the help, as they still didn't trust him after his betrayal. Fundy trusted Eret and told him about his plot to take Manberg down from the inside. Near the Manberg Festival, Eret and Niki worked together on a plot to blow up the Second White House unrelated to Wilbur's plan.
Post Manberg Festival[]
After the festival, Eret still wanted to win the trust of Pogtopia. He found Dream's crossbow that was given to Tommy, and planned to return it to Tommy in order to gain trust.
Manberg vs. War[]

In the war, Dream contacted Eret stating that Eret was simply a figurehead and therefore shouldn't take a stance. Dream said that Eret was only able to keep his power because of himself. Eret desperately wanted to help the Pogtopians, but did not want to give up his power as the king. Eret came to the decision that it was better to help his friends reclaim L'Manberg than act as a figurehead.
Dream intercepted Eret's decision and told him to come back to the castle. Escorted by Punz, George, and Sapnap, Eret was forced into the castle. Dream dethroned and placed George power, with Dream coronating him as king of the realm.
Eret arrived at the netherrack planning wall, where the rest of the Pogtopians were gathering. He then followed them to Pogtopia and Technoblade's secret base. He was awestruck when Techno revealed his impressive cache of weapons and supplies, taking a spare set of netherite armor with him.
Eret acted as a soldier within the war, fighting alongside his comrades. After the war was won and the day was over, he listened to Tubbo's presidential speech. Eret then witnessed Techno's second murder of Tubbo. He survived the massive TNT explosion under Manberg and also survived Technoblade's withers. Eret then found himself at a crossroads, either side with the Dream SMP and beg for forgiveness, side with Technoblade and become an anarchist, or become a citizen of Democratic L'Manberg. Eret chose the third option, happily becoming a citizen.
Side Stories During Rebellion[]
- Mr. Beast hid a Taco Bell gift card worth $10,000 on the server, which led to a wild scavenger hunt for the chest that lasted nearly 6 hours. Eret found the 'Taco Bell' book in the chest at the coordinates 6969, 60, 420 after searching for 3 hours. In honor of Eret winning the gift card, Bad makes a statue of Eret with a pride flag standing atop the entrance to his castle.
- Eret went on multiple building projects, building a museum, a café, and a stone pyramid.
- Eret went exploring on the SMP and found a stronghold with an end portal.
Reconstruction Era[]
Despite Dream dethroning Eret right after the War, he noticed that George was constantly being attacked since he wasn't making a neutral stance. Because Dream cared too much about George to see him continuing to get hurt, he decided that it would be best that Eret be re-crowned as king. He dethroned George on December 3rd and gave the kingship back to Eret, therefore giving him back ownership of his castle.
Adoption of Fundy[]
After the Manberg vs Pogtopia War, Eret considered adopting Fundy, even creating a Certificate of Adoption. However, he cannot be officially adopted until there is official consent from Philza, who is Fundy's nearest and alive relative. While Philza has actually considered approving the adoption, Eret did not show up on the day of the adoption, disappointing Fundy and thus leading to Philza's withhold of his signature. It was later revealed by Eret OOC that Fundy has not told him in advance regarding the adoption, and when he was notified, he was celebrating Thanksgiving and was unable to be on the server. However, he also clarified that the adoption was not off, and that he is only waiting for an appropriate time when the three of them could officiate the adoption altogether.
Doomsday War[]
In the beginning of the war, it was just Tommy and Eret in the VC, waiting for their friends to come help them. When Tommy died from fall damage, Eret supplied him with his lost stuff. He fought alongside L'Manberg, but after the war, tried to farm Wither Stars with Technoblade.
Ghostbur's Resurrection[]
Eret assisted in trying to resurrect Ghostbur, researching similar ancient texts to Ph1LzA and building a shrine that contained many elements of Ghostbur's life while alive. Unfortunately, it didn't go quite as planned, and Phil insisted that the texts he read included requiring a Totem of Undying. Ranboo and Phil went back to Technoblade's cabin to search for a Totem, but when Eret went to join them, Phil asked him to leave due to his role as a king.
Eret, feeling insulted, went back to Dream SMP to find a totem on his own and reflected on his own views on government. He deeply regretted betraying his friends in the original war, and felt bad that he earned his crown through this betrayal. At the same time, his position as king let him do things to make thing better, and he tried very hard not to order people around. Wilbur inspired Eret's own reign through his strong leadership, and Eret always felt as though Wilbur could spark hope in a way he never could. That was why he worked so hard to bring him back, and built a historical museum and help his people. Ranboo and Phil called back, and they went off to find a totem together.

Trivia[]
- Eret had a farm of sheep with pink wool. He placed blocks of wool, named "You Matter ♡", in chests around the entire SMP.
- He titled one of his streams "Up with the revolution" which is a reference to the infamous quote he'd used during Dream Team SMP vs. L'Manberg War.
- Eret is the first person on the server to obtain every single music disc on Dream SMP.
