Punz is a mercenary and citizen of the Dream SMP. He formerly served as a knight to King Eret of the Dream SMP. Currently, he is the de-facto leader of The Greater Dream SMP after Dream decided to go into hiding after the destruction of L'Manberg

Appearance

Punz is a human with light skin, blue eyes, and blond hair. He wears a white hoodie, black ripped jeans, white sneakers and a gold chain around his neck.

Personality

Punz's personality is a bit complicated. In the earlier days of the SMP, he rarely involved himself in conflicts. He gifted Tubbo a bee and helped Tommy even when they weren't friends. He was similar to a grandparent that would spoil their grandchildren. As time progressed, he began participating more in SMP conflicts, joining Dream's team against L'Manberg along with Sapnap, George, and Dream. He became a bit more 'mean' after the war. Despite becoming more active in the server conflicts, Punz remains a helpful and generally amicable person.

Punz fights on Dream's side in most wars and conflicts in the SMP. He generally serves as manpower for whatever side he is on, rarely commenting on his ideological motivations or opinions on the situation but stepping in to fight when needed. Punz continually insists that he is on the side of justice, but his actions often don't align with these ideals. He has never joined a conflict for himself, always joining for a friend or ally instead. He has confessed to staying loyal to the side that pays him the most, likely explaining why he always sides with Dream. He seems to believe that siding with Dream is what's best for himself, but at times, questions his loyalty.

History

Early Days

Punz joined the server along with Tubbo, Purpled, and Fundy. Upon joining the server, he started construction on his house. Punz enjoyed beekeeping, building a beekeeping complex in his house. He and Tubbo were friends, with Punz even gifting him a pet bee after Tommy killed Spinz.

Dream SMP vs L'Manberg War

During the Dream SMP vs L'Manberg War, Punz joined Dream in fighting against L'Manberg. He took part in the bombing of the L'Manberg Embassy. He knew about Eret and his house was used as the home base of the Dream SMP Team. He participated in the skirmish of the Final Control Room, killing Wilbur and taking a canon life.

Post-War

Post-war, Punz was involved in Dream's $5000 Deal or No Deal event on the server.

The Pet War

During The Pet War, Punz lost Beenus. Fundy was upset at the killing of his enderman and Fungi, and while Punz wasn’t directly involved, he was an ally of Sapnap. When Punz came on, Fundy forced Punz play a bee game, a game that would either kill or return Beenus. During the event, Punz lost all his things to Tommy and Tubbo, and a small portion of his tower was destroyed after Fundy painted him as the villain. Beenus also likely died in this event, though Punz had a period of denial afterwards. However, he was able to get Fundy's drip but brown during the bee game. He later went to Sapnap, giving it to him to use as leverage. After Punz informed Sapnap of the events, Sapnap was enraged, and Punz stood by Sapnap when he confronted Fundy.

Post Pet War

After the pet war, Punz helped Karl and Sapnap build The Eiffel Tower for their honeymoon.

Manberg Rebellion

During the Manberg Rebellion, Punz stated that he only supports his own side, and that he does what's good for him. Punz initially acted as a yes man to Quackity and Schlatt when they exiled Tommy and Wilbur, with Punz even killing Wilbur.

After the events, he privately messaged Wilbur, apologizing and claiming it was an accident. Punz expressed his dislike for the new government in a call with Niki, HBomb, and Eret. He didn't deny it when Eret called the people in the call the "rebellion", as he was likely thinking of rebelling himself. Punz eventually sided with Dream and Pogtopia during The Battle of the Lake and gave Tubbo items of importance to aid him in his quest against Manberg.

Items Conflict

Punz's house also suffered some damages in an unrelated incident during this time when Sapnap burned his house down and hunted some of his pets after Punz refused to play Hide and Seek with him and Karl in The Items Conflict. Punz patched the damage, but with different blocks so that the history was preserved. He and Sapnap were able to come to an agreement and everyone's items were returned.

Manberg Festival

Punz attended the Manberg Festival as a citizen. Since he was outnumbered by the other citizens, he followed the orders of the leaders when they commanded them to attack Tommy and Wilbur.

After the festival, Punz helped Tubbo and Sam in draining the section of the ocean used for the Guardian XP Farm.

The Second Pet War

Punz and Sapnap fought together against the Badlands in the Second Pet War. After finding a panda and bringing it back with Sapnap's help, Antfrost stole it. Punz negotiated for the return of his panda, threatening BadBoyHalo. Ant agreed to return the panda, but while transporting the panda back, Punz accidentally killed it with thorns armor. Initially, Punz blamed himself for the death, but after Sapnap placed blame on Ant, Punz decided to join Sapnap. In the end, Punz and Sapnap made amends with the Badlands, agreeing to return items and accepting a replacement panda.

Manberg vs Pogtopia War

In The Manberg vs Pogtopia War, Punz fought with Dream against Pogtopia. After Tommy was named as the new president, Punz stood by Dream's side, stating that he would never bow to TommyInnit. He didn't seem to have as many complaints when the position was then given to Tubbo. Once chaos broke out once again, Punz was one of the members to stand by Technoblade's side as he gave a speech and created the withers.

Reconstruction Era

After the war, Punz spent a lot of time revamping and decorating his house and yard. He built a stable for his new horse, Bumpkin, in the yard. He was one of the many victims of Dream's griefing disguised as Tommy's doing, leading him to state that he would get revenge. Before Christmas, he redecorated his house, building a Christmas tree, a candy cane path, and a snowy area for his new polar bear, Comet, to live in.

Lani's Restaurant

During Lani's visit, Punz was really friendly to her, similar to his relationship with Tubbo. While running their restaurant, Tommy wanted to scam Punz. However, Lani gave out the boots for free. Tommy got sick of Lani and killed her, and in turn, Punz killed him for "killing a woman". After Quackity took all of their items, Punz killed him so Lani could get her items back.

Knighted in Dream SMP

On December 6, 2020, Punz was recruited as a knight in the Dream SMP. He is the third citizen to be officially knighted in the Dream SMP, after Captain Puffy and HBomb. Eret, the King of Dream SMP, knighted Punz at the entrance of Punz's House, witnessed by the other two knights.

On the same day, the Knights of Eret began their first mission. Eret, rallying his knights, began an assault on Mexican L'Manberg's territory due to the citizens of Mexican L'Manberg detonating a small part of Eret's Castle, stealing Eret's throne, and framing Eret for killing Karl. The mission was a success, as the mountain was subsequently destroyed, with the Mexican L'Manbergians fleeing to The Holy Land to negotiate for their official recognition.

When Eret questioned which side Dream was on, Punz stated that Dream is 'on his own side', just like himself. He also mentioned that he joined the knight mission for 'chaos that he can't afford to miss'. Once the issue was solved, Punz almost immediately asked to resign from his newly appointed role as knight, and Eret agreed, despite being a little confused. After Punz left, Dream stated that Punz was more of a mercenary than a knight.

The Squeeks Conflict

Throughout time, Punz had maintained a cordial relationship with Tubbo. After Mushroom died, Tubbo was upset. Punz gifted him a new fox, and Tubbo asked Punz for spelling help for the new name, "Squeaks". Punz was unsure, but accepted the spelling of "Sqeeks". During the conflict, Punz and Dream defended Sqeeks and Tubbo against Sapnap.

During the event, Tubbo mentioned that he was poor, and that he was going to offer the idea of working for Punz for items. Punz interrupted him and began giving him valuable resources such as netherite ingots and iron blocks.

Technoblade's Execution

During Technoblade's Execution, Punz assisted Dream in the mission of saving Technoblade from the execution. Punz interrupted Tubbo's speech, throwing snowballs at Tubbo before swooping in. He attacked the Butcher Army and placed TNT down around the site to serve as a distraction while Dream took Carl from the Butcher Army. After Technoblade survived the execution, Punz distracted the army long enough for Techno to escape before making a swift exit himself with his riptide trident.

De-Facto Leader

After discovering Tommy's escape from Logstedshire, Dream deemed it necessary to leave Dream SMP and go looking for Tommy. Dream was afraid that his faction would crumble without his leadership, so he met with Punz at the community house to discuss his plans. Dream showed Punz Pandora's Vault and informed Punz that during his absence, Punz would assume leadership. Punz complied with the responsibility, saying he would take care of the land while Dream would embark on his quest to find Tommy. Dream also mentioned that everyone but Punz had fought against him before, leading him to conclude that Punz would be a target to take him down. Because of this, Dream gave Punz the responsibility of being a spy to gain L'Manberg's trust to ensure the server wouldn't go after Punz due to Dream's actions. They planned to have a public, staged falling-out over the death of Punz's horse, Bumpkin. In preparation, Punz would replace with a fake horse in order to keep the real Bumpkin safe.

Sex-Ed

Shortly after KSI joined the server on December 20, 2020, he built a school and taught Sex-Ed with the assistance of Quackity. Punz was one of the nine students of the class. During class, Punz was instructed by KSI to get a chicken to become the "teacher's pet". For Punz's homework assignment, he drew two stickmen: a larger one labeled "Punz" and a shorter one labeled "KSI". When KSI questioned his assignment, Punz joked about KSI's height, leading to KSI asking Dream to turn him into a chicken as a punishment. As a chicken, George bred Punz with the "teacher's pet" as his class project, resulting in Punz having a chickling. The chick was later killed by KSI, and Punz failed to graduate.

Doomsday

After Dream's announcement that he would destroy L'Manberg alongside Technoblade, Punz declared that Dream had gone too far and joined the side of L'Manberg for the upcoming battle. However, this was a ploy to gain L'Manberg's trust, as he and Dream had planned to install Punz as a spy within L'Manberg prior to the conflict. Punz fought alongside the people of L'Manberg to fight off the Hound Army and combat the withers spawned by Philza and Technoblade. Later, when speaking with Tubbo at Snowchester, Tommy remarked on how surprising it was to see Punz fighting on their side for once rather than on Dream's. The information Punz had obtained has been "useful." L'Manberg had been destroyed, so it is rather apparent that Punz wouldn't be fighting for L'Manberg or those who were part of L'Manberg's doomsday defense force. However, Punz has obtained information on the people's separate ways, which would allow Dream to start a campaign after his hiding to kill those who have "wronged" him.

The Crimson Egg / Eggpire

BadBoyHalo discovered a crimson egg and showed Punz the egg multiple times. On January 15, 2021, BadBoyHalo gathered Punz, Captain Puffy and Antfrost for a meeting, showing them the egg and the blood vines, then discussing about BadBoyHalo's great plan of taking over the whole server with the egg to "eliminate leaders" and restore the original state of anarchy of the server. The plan was to allow the crimson egg to break free from the obsidian and let its' blood vines grow all over the Dream SMP, then be the "heroes" of the server by saving it from the crimson egg. Punz disliked the idea of it, but after having a look at the crimson egg and seemingly getting possessed, he wanted chaos on the server and agreed to a loose alliance with the Badlands.

Recently Punz attended a meeting between himself, Antfrost, Puffy and Bad. However Bad had purposely held the meeting directly above the egg in an attempt to put the others under the eggs influence.

This plan was somewhat successful with Bad being able to convince Punz, Puffy and Antfrost to go to the egg with no sort of protection and would assist in freeing the egg and allowing it to grow in amongst the ruins of L'manberg

Archivo:Shulker box cyan.png Punzo Shulker	The Punzo Shulker box is the only shulker box on the SMP. Punz obtained it after it was spawned in the SMP by Drista on Dream's account on December 14, 2020. The shulker box was originally pink, but Punz dyed it cyan and renamed it. It currently is stored in Punz's ender chest. Dream later stated that he was okay with Punz owning it.

Pumpkin	Dead	Punz's Yard	BadBoyHalo took Pumpkin hostage after a failed armor trade resulting in Punz killing BadBoyHalo after suspecting BadBoyHalo of scamming. While trying to reobtain Pumpkin, Punz accidentally killed Pumpkin. A funeral for Pumpkin was held in Punz's House after his death, and BBH also attended the event. During the funeral, Punz stated that Pumpkin loves carrots and was a speedy horse.

Punz and Dream plan to use Bumpkin to fake a falling out between them.

Dream	Positive	Dream and Punz have a close relationship that started with Punz being a paid mercenary but slowly turned into a partnership full of trust. Dream has stated Punz is currently the only person he can trust on the server. Punz himself said they are allies but he is mainly in said allyship for his own benefit. However, he does seem to consider Dream a genuine friend.
Karl Jacobs	Positive	Punz and Karl act pretty friendly with each other. Karl teases Punz a lot, and likes to say that Punz and Sapnap fight over him.
Sam	Positive	Sam and Punz have always had a friendly relationship. Though they did fight during the second pet war, Punz never held anything against him for doing so. They have been grouped together in conflicts and events multiple times. The two were grouped together to assist with Quackity's date. When the crimson vines started growing, Antfrost and Bad attacked Sam after they tried breaking the eggs. Punz stopped the fight, pretended to find the egg strange but harmless and left the area with Sam. He and Sam actively worked together to stop any growth of the blood vines.
Sapnap	Positive	Although Sapnap and Punz tend to bicker constantly while around each other, almost every time they fight in a war, they're on the same side. They fought alongside each other in both the Pet War and the Second Pet War. Their relationship has been compared to that of a younger and older brother, and though Punz has been on the receiving end of many of Sapnap's antics, they rarely hold grudges against each other, Punz forgiving Sapnap for burning down his house and accidentally killing his fox. Punz has helped Sapnap with the construction of builds such as Sapnap's secret base and the Eiffel Tower. Though they have a good relationship, their factions are currently at odds; Punz is responsible for being Dream's spy and second in command, while Sapnap became a member of El Rapids following his falling out with Dream and the Greater Dream SMP. This puts them into occasional conflict, with Punz being ready to fight Sapnap if Dream commands it. They have fought against each other during the Greater Dream SMP Civil War and during the Battle of the Lake. However, during the Doomsday War, the two fought alongside each other on L'Manberg's side (although Punz was acting as Dream's spy at the time), killing a wither together, to Sapnap's delight.
Tubbo	Neutral/Positive	During the earlier days of the SMP, Tubbo and Punz got along really well. Punz gifted bees to Tubbo, and at one point said that he’d join conflicts for him as he was his friend. Though they don’t interact much nowadays, Tubbo speaks highly of Punz. He has said that he was "a cool guy" and still respects him, even calling Punz “a gentleman.” Before his position in The Manberg vs Pogtopia War was revealed, Tubbo said that Punz was powerful enough to actually make a difference in the coming battle. Punz hasn’t really displayed much of his opinions on Tubbo. However, as seen in his video of the L'Manberg War, it was shown that he didn’t enjoy the time when Sapnap and Dream killed Tubbo at his jungle base back in the L’Manberg War. Punz had given him materials in the Manberg Rebellion, even offering help. Later on, he helped protect Squeeks from Sapnap in the Squeeks Conflict.
Nihachu	Neutral/Positive	Niki and Punz ended up in the same side after Punz' betrayal in The Battle of the Lake. After the battle, Punz gifted her a Netherite Helmet from spoils of the battle, and Niki was happy to have made a friend.
Antfrost	Archivo:Relationship Neutral HD.png Neutral	Ant and Punz were usually very friendly with each other. Ant lived in his house and even helped him in The Items Conflict. However, after Punz's betrayal in The Battle of the Lake, Antfrost felt betrayed. Later on, the two fought against each other in The Second Pet War. At first, Punz was infuriated at Antfrost for stealing his panda. Their relationship was even more strained as Bad blamed Punz and try to downplay the misdeed. Antfrost understood his anger and wanted to make amends by planning to gift him a new panda. In the end, the two made amends. When Punz discovers the blood vines in Bad's underground cavern, he was distasted and concerned, causing Ant to question him. Despite Punz removing several blood vines he spotted around the SMP, the two didn't seem to hold any grudges against each other, and Punz, although weirded out by Ant's antics towards the mysterious red substances, seemed to be ultimately worried for his well being.
BadBoyHalo	Archivo:RelationshipNeutral LargePixelArt.png Neutral	Their relationship was relatively good, Bad living in his house and even helping him in the Items Conflict. They were good friends until Punz' betrayal in the Battle of the Lake. However, BadBoyHalo has forgiven Punz. They did fight in the Second Pet War however, with Bad going as far as trying to downplay Antfrost’s actions and manipulating Punz into thinking he was in the wrong. They didn’t seem to hold anything against each other post war though. When Punz discovered the blood vines in Bad's underground cavern, he expressed discomfort and concern, causing Bad to try converting him into thinking that it was a good thing. However, this action proved to be useless as Punz didn't change his mind. Despite the blood vine dispute of Punz removing the blood vines he sees around the SMP, there doesn't seem to be any bad blood between them, and Punz even expressed some concern over Bad's obsession over the vines.
Fundy	Archivo:RelationshipNeutral LargePixelArt.png Neutral	Fundy didn’t have much relation to Punz personally until the Pet War, where he killed Punz' favorite bee in his bee game and manipulated everyone into destroying a part of his tower and taking all his items. Fundy seemed to enjoy getting under his skin early on. However, the events of the Pet War was a long time ago. The two now joke and bicker from time to time, Punz even offering to be his girlfriend when he claimed to be alone. Punz comforted Fundy after the interrogation with Tommy.
TommyInnit	Archivo:RelationshipNeutral LargePixelArt.png Neutral	Tommy and Punz have a neutral relationship. Back in the Disc Saga, Punz was friendly to Tommy, giving Tommy a blaze rod, and trying to help him break the obsidian after Dream trapped his bed. However, they've never really had a positive relationship despite the small friendly gestures of Punz. Tommy attempted to trap his house and jokingly said he was one of his enemies for having a 'z' in his name. In return, Punz just kept ending his sentences with a 'z' to annoy him. Tommy also expressed his disliking for Punz always intervening as manpower on the side of Manberg.

• Punz has been on Dream’s side every time both of them were involved in a conflict. In addition. he has fought alongside Sapnap the most.
• He gave Wilbur two out of his 3 canon deaths: he killed him in the Final Control Room and shot him during Tommy and Wilbur's escape from L'Manberg following Schlatt's election.
• He temporarily became a knight to Eret when he was being attacked by El Rapids. After the event, he decided to resign.
• He has fought against his friends and allies (Tubbo, Sapnap, and what was formerly Mexican L'Manberg) multiple times due to his loyalty with Dream.
