The Village That Went Mad is the second installment of "Tales from the SMP". It was streamed on January 2, 2020 at 8 p.m. EST, and starred Karl Jacobs, Quackity, BadBoyHalo, LazarBeam, Corpse, GeorgeNotFound, Dream, Ponk, and Tubbo. The winners of the canon round had a chance to earn a cash prize of $1000.
The installment took place in a village named "Not A Very Good Town Town" a hundred years ago before the discovery of the Dream SMP. It was occupied by 8 townsfolk, and during the night, murder takes place, and the townsfolk had to figure out who the murderers were before they wipe out their entire village.
Canon round[]
First day[]
During the Day, the townsfolk met in the center of the village fountain until it became nighttime. During the night, Helga slept over with Miles, occupying the night with a lot of noise and resulting a lot of the villagers not getting sleep. Cornelius was murdered during the night.
Second day[]
During the Day, the townsfolk held a meeting around the campfire and found a murder that occurred the previous night. Catboy revealed that he felt the presence of the murderer, but wasn't able to identify them because he was blind. The town voted against Robin, Miles, and Catboy. They were then placed on the chopping block, and Catboy received the most votes and got executed. Robin was distraught of the results and became depressed.
During the night, nothing happened because the murderer chose not to kill anyone.
Third day[]
During the day, the townsfolk gathered around the campfire and realized that Catboy was telling the truth about his disability. Robin was still distraught about the death of his older figure, and Helga attempted to convince him to speak up for himself before he became suspicious. Robin believed that Jimmy was one of the murderers, and the town voted Robin and Jimmy on the chopping block. Robin received the most votes and got executed, joining Catboy in the afterlife. Robin was revealed to be the jester.
During the night, Helga went stargazing alone on the rooftops of the village and was murdered. Due to the murderers having more dominance against the innocent, Miles and Jimmy were also murdered in their homes.
Fourth day[]
The gamemaster revealed that Jack and Bob were the murderers. In addition, Robin the jester also won the game. The three earned their split of the prize.

This round was considered non-canon by Karl himself and was just a practice round.
First day[]
During the Day, the townsfolk met in the center of the village fountain until it became nighttime. During the night, Miles Memeington was murdered.
Second day[]
In the morning, the townsfolk discussed in the campfire, and most of the village voted against Jimmy and Robin. Jimmy convinced the village to execute him instead of Robin just because he was an orphan and the latter claimed to be a Doctor.
Night arrived, and the murderer attempted to murder Robin. However, since he is a doctor, he chose to save himself.
Third day[]
During the day, Catboy revealed himself to be the investigator. The majority voted Jack and Helga, with the latter being chosen to be executed. Helga choose to haunt Jack after her death, and the townsfolk went off to sleep after that.
Fourth day[]
In the morning, the town realized that the murderer chose not to kill anyone. The townsfolk discussed in the campfire, and Catboy revealed that Jack never left the house. The majority of the village voted against Jack and Cornelius, deciding to execute Cornelius. It was revealed by the Gamemaster that village may sleep peacefully because all of the murderers were executed, giving the win to the village.
