The Unnamed Samsung Refrigerator is Wilbur Soot's biological mother, and Ph1LzA's ex-partner. It would have been the step-mother to TommyInnit and Tubbo, the grandmother to Fundy, and the mother in law to Sally.

Its concept was formed from Out of Character Wilbur's seemingly random claim that his SMP character's mother is a Samsung Refrigerator. While Wilbur has expressed that this is officially canon, some members of the fandom have chosen to ignore the claim.

On Phil's 30th of November, 2020 stream, Wilbur stated that his mother is canonically a Samsung Smart Refrigerator due to Phil getting "down and dirty" with one sometime in the 70s. This information is currently in the limbo between being false and true, due to Wilbur no longer being the series' main writer.

Due to Wilbur claiming it is his mother and not saying anything else, the fridge currently has ties only to Phil, Wilbur himself and Fundy. As a result, currently, it is the equivalent of a step-mother to Tommy.

On Phil's December 2nd stream, Phil has stated that the fridge is now in a dump.

Trivia

• It would be logical to assume that Tommy's mother is also this fridge because according to the current lore, Wilbur and Tommy are biological siblings. But we need all the denial we can get so that isn't the case unless it gets explicitly confirmed (at Wilbur's own risk).

• Wilbur made the decision to say that this is canon and there is no shapeshifting involved, but the fandom has elected to ignore it. Many fans and fan artists have interpreted this as Wilbur's mother being an ice queen.
• Originally Phil, realizing the implications of Wilbur's statement, said it was a story he had told Tommy and Wilbur. Afterwards, as more donations poured in questioning Phil's sanity in having children with a time-traveling fridge, Phil gave up and said it was because of the many buttons on the fridge.
• Fundy claimed he had met the Unnamed Smart Fridge, calling it "Grandma".
• Due to the fact that a Samsung Fridge is in the DreamSMP canon, it's viable to consider the Samsung Company is a canon company in the lore.
• The Samsung Fridge canonically met Phil in the 1970s. This means that the Dream SMP either takes place in 1995, or several characters are thirty years older than once imagined. Much like with the fridge itself, fans are electing to ignore this part of canon.
• It has been theorised that its last name is Soot, since Phil's is not, which would mean that Wilbur took his mother's last name.
