He also paused every 5 minutes just to make sure his viewers knew how much time Sam put into making the prison because it was so cool awwww

Techno called Niki and Ranboo his friends! He called Dream a roommate! He's come so far from his time spent distrusting everyone in Pogtopia and I'm so proud of him

Okay actual analysis: Techno obviously knew it was a trap. He went in there with Dream, and before Dream could even explain what happened Techno said that he needed Dream to tell him everything. He read Quackity and Sam enough to realize something's happening, but he also left a will for Philza that we didn't see on screen. (Also the stasis chamber won't work guys, pearls despawn if the thrower dies) Techno always has a backup plan, and I don't think today was an exception.
