Wilbur was waiting in the drug van for Tommy, who was taking unusually long this morning, even for Tommy, who always slept in late. But soon enough he heard panting and two sets of footsteps running in the direction of the van. Soon Artemis and Tommy entered the avan and sat down on one of the couches after clearing it off.
”sorry I was later then usual, it took a long time for both me and Arti to fall asleep last night” that much Wilbur could see. They both had dark circles under their eyes and looked weak and tired.
“It’s fine” he told them “Fundy’s taking awhile too”
”who’s Fundy?” Asked Artemis.
”Fundys Will’s son” said Tommy, turned towards Artemis. As Tommy said that Fundy entered.
”yes I am” he said simply, his gaze almost immediately drifting to Artemis afterwards “who’s she?” He’s asked, confused.
”I’m Artemis!” She said Cheerfully. Why did it sound like she forced that cheerfulness he thought, suspicious. But he shook it off after a minute.
“Ok anyways we have one small matter of business to attend to” said Wilbur.
”and what’s that?” Asked Tommy.
”to get a new member, if she’d like to join” said Wilbur with a smile.
”like to?! I’d LOVE to!” Said Artemis. That cheerfulness didn’t sound forced.
”well then, welcome to the chaos”
