“In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity”
-sun tzu, the art of war
I added this quote to my bio on deviantart a while ago soon after I started watching technoblade as a small tribute to a content creator I enjoyed. I never dreamed that clicking on a simple YouTube video would open up so many opportunities, whether it be in my art, the many amazing people in this community or so many cool moments with my friends and family. Since then I have grown so much, spending many late nights reading fanfic, going to my first convention in quackity cosplay and spending the whole time with others dressed in attire dedicated to the same fandom, my brother and I bonding over these amazing creators in our free time. though there were so many different people that this fandom centred on, our all time favourite and remaining constant was always the funny pig man named technoblade. The amount of laughter that filled our household over this one person who we had never met but became such an influential figure in our lives was amazing. He inspired us to do our best whether it be in the area of art, mcyt being the dominate fandom in all my fanart or gaming and strategy in some of my friends cases. Heck, I even read the art of war because of him. and now he’s gone. A guy on the internet who we’ve never met, yet who helped so many people just by playing a block game, with so many people growing along side him. He died so young, and yet did so much. what I feel can’t really be put into words, but I think how dream worded it is good enough:
fuck cancer.
it just sucks. I have had multiple close relatives die from this horrible disease, and now yet another person has been taken into the hands of death thanks to it. so Honour his memory. Whenever you pick up a device and open minecraft think of him and smile. o7 technoblade, and may you die as you lived, inspiring people all around the world to be their best selves
