I know he does in fact say he was born in a lab (I think he says this in his stream that is posted on his VODS channel called "Tommy Techno & Ranboo LOSE IT on Dream SMP" to explain to Techno why he's not an orphan, but I might be wrong about it being in that stream and he probably says it elsewhere too), and he might have said it in reference to the egg but idk, I didn't watch much egg lore.
