Please tell me yours and/or tell me about your oc's limbos!

Here's mine:

Limbo in general

• Every limbo is connected, though travel between them is near impossible, think about it like stops the tube system with different platforms

• Stuff that gets destroyed has a chance of randomly appearing in people's limbos

• There is always a way to observe the real world through limbo, some are just harder to find than others

• The afterlife is devoid of any ambient sound

Wilbur's Limbo

• Is explicitly the red and greys of the album cover Your City Gave Me Asthma

• It is possible to run down the actual tube where the trains are, but every time Wilbur tried to, he got teleported back on the train platform and an overhead speaker would say 'Please keep behind the yellow line for your safety (there were no barriers on this tube line)

• Trains would always come in the same direction. The trains were always delivering other smp members to their respective afterlives

• When L'Manburg was destroyed in the Doomsday War, a deck of cards was also destroyed and made its way to Wilbur's afterlife, it just appeared in a random place

Ghostbur's Limbo

• Functionally the same as Wilbur's

• He was in limbo for 7 years before Friend came

• After the smp got reset his limbo shrunk to a 2 metre (6ft) circle around wherever Ghostbur and Friend is. Both of them can walk around but their vision is restricted to the previously stated measurements. There is void fog outside of this diametres (older minecraft players will know what I am talking about without googling 'void fog')

Tommy's Limbo

• Also a train station, but no lights were working

• He could still hear trains going in, but was never able to pinpoint where the sound came from

• He managed to find Wilbur's limbo by following the sound of [Wil] screaming and crying

Ranboo's Limbo

• The water around where Ran stood showed reflections of what was happening back on the server

• Every time he tried to disturb the water Dream's mask would appear in the bubbles

• He got to the afterlife by train, but his method of transport transformed into a boat some time during the trip

Schlatt's Limbo

• The drugs and alcohol were already in limbo when he arrived

• There was 'gym equipment' in his limbo too (miscellaneous broken furniture)

• It it unknown where his limbo was in the afterlife, but it was accessible to Tommy and Wilbur's afterlives

Dream's Limbo

• Was physically the same as the smp, with everything that was going on in the server currently happening, but he couldn't hear or interact with anything

• Ever building he went inside resembled his obsidian cell in Pandora's Vault

Fennah's Limbo

• Fennah has been to limbo a total of six times

• 5/6 times was because of a death

• The 6th was during the Doomsday War and he accidentally no-clipped through the world and ended up in Wilbur's limbo, who -out of shock- shoved her onto the track causing her to clip back to the battle

• Fen's limbo is an expansive labyrinth of hallways lined with bookshelves looking onto a central courtyard that is DreamXD's world. The floor of these hallways is covered in full sized train tracks and the entire hallway is flooded up to about her knees (remember she's 8ft tall) said books detail shit that's happening in the smp in real time.

geometry - hes in a white void, no harm can be done... but wait, without him around, everybody will be depressedd... atleast hes not near a triangle

cube - hes in the stars, away from the standing rectangle, but hes also away from trianite, who is the only thing that keeps him sane.. and its not actually the stars, just a black void with yellow dots around (lol)

subzero - its cold, just like how he likes it... "wheres meltdown? wheres geometry?" he would ask himself usually, he felt alone without his siblings

It was dark. It had be so for a long time. Longer than he had existed, longer than he had ever known. And yet, it was safe. It was safe. Nothing had been safe like this. Not even his ————. They hadn’t been safe from him. The dark was safe. The dark- no. The dark was leaving him. The dark knew what he had done, what he had done in ————. What ——— had done. The dark knew more than the light, for the truth lurks in the shadows of lie. The dark was replaced with a single fleck. A single fleck of light turned into another. ———- looked up at the night sky, which had been flecked with star and galaxy by the colossal hand of a god. There was light in the dark, yet the dark still reigned. -a—oo tried to reach for a fleck that had fallen to the reflection beneath his little plain of existence. The reflection melded with him, and his hand broke through. ⌿⏃⟟⋏ ⊑⎍⍀⏁ ⋏⍜ ⏚⏃⎅ ⏃⍙⏃⊬. Ranboo scrambled back as steam rose from his translucent hand. The reflection hurt. He glanced up to see the same fallen star still in the sky.

“Oh, you haven’t fallen at all. Not like me.”

The water rippled in reply,

“⋏⍜, ⌰⟟⏁⏁⌰⟒ ⍜⋏⟒, ⋏⍜⏁ ⌰⟟☍⟒ ⊬⍜⎍ ⍙⟟⌰⌰.”

Ranboo looked at the ripples, not seeing a reflection of himself in the water. That was odd, though he couldn’t figure out why. Ranboo could feel something, a sensation, a memory, a thought. It tiptoed out of his grasp like a dream after waking.

“This isn’t where I left.”

“⟟⏁ ⟟⌇ ⋏⍜⏁.”

“I was alive, but I don’t feel like I am anymore. Is this the Limbo? Like Wilbur?” The words left his mind as soon as he had spoken. Wilbur, he remembered that name. He had a vague outline of a man, that was becoming clearer.

“⊬⟒⌇, ⏃⋏⎅ ⋏⍜. ⊬⍜⎍ ⏃⍀⟒ ⏃ ⌇⏁⍀⏃⋏☌⟒ ☊⍀⟒⏃⏁⎍⍀⟒, ⍀⏃⋏⏚⍜⍜. ⟟ ☊⏃⋏⋏⍜⏁ ⎎⍜⍀⋔ ⎎⍜⍀ ⊬⍜⎍,” Limbo rippled in reply. Ranboo looked at his ghostly hands, and began to cry. The tears rolled down well worn tracks in his skin, tracing scarred lines down his face. Limbo itself shuddered, quaking Ranboo’s small island of glass.

“⍙⊑⊬ ⎅⍜ ⊬⍜⎍ ☊⍀⊬?”

“I’m dead.”

“⏁⊑⏃⏁ ⟟⌇ ⋏⍜⏁ ⏁⊑⟒ ⍜⋏⌰⊬ ⍀⟒⏃⌇⍜⋏ ⊬⍜⎍ ⌇⊑⟒⎅ ⏁⟒⏃⍀⌇ ⏁⊑⏃⏁ ⏁⍜⍀⏁⎍⍀⟒ ⊬⍜⎍ ⌇⍜.”

“You’re- you talk in that language. I haven’t heard it in…” Ranboo wracked his brain to find the last time that he had heard the language of his enderman friends.

“I haven’t heard anyone else speak it in a long time. Where even am I?”

“Please! Calm down! I-“

Limbo tilts, offering Ranboo to the water beneath him.

TRANSLATION

I’m going to write my own fan fiction based on Ranboo and his memory throughout Limbo. Any interest at all? The reason that I am writing in Ender is because Limbo speaks in Ender, and Ranboo’s supporting characters will as well depending on who it is. I have the first chapter roughed our, but I don’t want to continue unless there is at least some interest. Thoughts?

Scared/disturbed by silence, things with disfigured faces or torn limbs, drowning/suffocation/winding, being ignored, losing friends and family, has ADHD, scared/startled easily by loud noises and being in the dark with no wall to lean against.

Eyes dart ‘round —

Honey, run, and hide ‘er son

Ashe shivered, a rough, body-shaking chill that swept through his whole body.

He was supposed to be sleeping, but his room had transformed. His small, single bed was now surrounded by nothing but blackness, and its headboard was gone, meaning that he was simply on an island of cushion, straining his eyes, heart pounding so loud he was amazed no one had heard it.

He felt like he was under the covers, for he was choking on his own carbon dioxide, ragged breaths drawn from nowhere and going everywhere.

However, at the same time, he was apparently actually on top of the covers, kneeling on scrud-capped legs and afraid, clutching a flashlight and swooping it around erratically. It never occurred to him that perhaps this was like a lighthouse, and what was drawing them to him.

No, that never could have surfaced in his panicking mind.

Staring wildly around, becoming more and more preoccupied by his lung situation by the second, he made out nothing in the blackness. His room was tiny, but now, it could have been a hundred miles wide. Infinity. He nearly convinced himself that it was… that it was. That he was stuck there. Nowhere to run.

Spinning around, shakily bounding about on his worn knees and struggling feet, he again stuck a clumsy hand as far out as he could to search.

Even though he was ready, even though he was watching, even though he’d been waiting for what felt like hours:

Suddenly, the whole world seemed to jerk, although his bed stayed stationary, and the ground stayed black, giving the impression that he was floating in space; and a creature, one you would see in your nightmares and the one he was seeing in his, sprang straight out of nowhere towards his face. But it undershot slightly and only clawed right through a leg of his bed. Ashe screamed and tried to flick the light, spammed like a terror signal, but his fumbling fingers couldn’t find the small plug —

And then he realized that there was space under his bed — there never had been before — and that it was slithering out, squelching repulsively — a terrifying is that a face oh God is that supposed to be a face that thing with the wooden eyes and a bloody hole where its ear is supposed to be and where is the other ear supposed to be why is it there why is it gashed and bleeding how is it moving like that white sludge move hurt SCREAM.

Ashe screeched the loudest he ever had —

And then it was gone.

But he knew it wasn’t, not really, that it never would be.

Whipping wildly, he swatted a matted string of bloody hair left behind out of his eye and clumsily toppled halfway face-first onto the mattress. Gasping, really struggling for air now, he strained to lift himself up and sluggishly hoisted his body to face the other side of the bed.

And the creature screamed right back, for it lunged with an ear-splitting roar that sounded like it came straight out of an old, processed radio — right into his face — and blood and pain and how did I let it get me oh my God my nose where is IT —

He unleashed a long, horrible stream of screaming, and heaven knows where he got the energy or the air. But no one came rushing down the hallway that was supposed to be but wasn’t there, no one came with thundering footsteps to chase the dark away, no one — no one — no one knew him. No one cared.

Tense, shaking so hard he was vibrating, and bleeding freely from the face, he dropped the flashlight, all hope of holding it steady gone to wherever he wasn’t.

Ashe screamed until he felt dead.

Ashe screamed until the dark felt somewhat chased away, but once he stopped to inhale whatever was left of the atmosphere, it immediately started to close in on him again….

When was it I last saw… whoever? Whoever it was?

What, who? Who’s a who?

Nervous beyond words, he fidgeted, sitting with where are his legs, instead there are bloody stumps, how did that happen waiting eyes and ears and fear.

Bashing highs —

Waiting eyes and ears and fear

Crashing lights —

Unsteady palms drop the sun

Then his head began to pound….

That was what told him something bad was going to happen.

He braced himself for the next attack, but instead a mirror rolled up.

Showing his missing nose and tentacled mouth curling in all its bloody glory.

Shaky hands —

They reach up unsteadily

Trembling —

Catch a writhing piece of slime.

A fanfic idea leaked itself into my mind. It’s based off of the ghosts/spirits in the FNaF survivalist guide, except more DSMP related. Also involving some theories I have to form a sort of “AU”. It’s hard to explain but yeah. Lemme know if you want a ping!!

To celebrate reaching 20 limbos (WHAT?) (and also yeah I know we didn’t do anything for #10 but shhh), I’ve decided to just fulfill @Jasmyn Flowers’s request now and deduce what xyr fears are based on the limbo that they wrote for themselves.. I suggest you go read that first /nf

Okayyyyy let’s seeeee-

• I assume you may have a fear of death, because right off the bat you mention death, and anything even slightly added into a personal hell can be assumed to have a negative impact on your life. In death’s case, literally. Although it might just be because you were shaken by literally dying.

• I think you’re scared of being not forgotten, necessarily, but not having been there at all in the first place. Not being you is the most terrifying thing to you. You look around you and see all these faces and places and races, but they’ve lived without you, are just fine without you.

• You’re scared of not making an impact on something you’re a part of. I just feel that.

• You’re scared of being confronted.

• Of realization.

• And of being trapped;

• Of being refused acknowledgement

• and denied grace.

• Maybe importantly, you’re scared not of being ignored but of people ignoring you and not even knowing it. (Perhaps that more so.)

• You’re scared of not being able to meet new people, make new connections. You’re scared that no one will give a crap about you if they don’t know or understand you.

• You fear abandonment.

• You also want to be known even if you haven’t connected with anyone in that space; because if you haven’t, that means that there are new people that could abandon you, but you’re scared of more than abandonment; you’re horrified by the idea that you didn’t even try to set up a bond, regardless the possibility of neglect.

C/N: and we’re back! Deepest apologies to those who are still on the waiting list and haven’t received a limbo. I’m terrible with commitment and motivation, but I’m truly trying I promise <3 /nsp /npa /pc

Limbo description:

What is a smile? she thinks. She wanders aimlessly toward a light in the distance, scared to turn around for fear of losing his bearings. He wrings their hands in slight distress; the anxiety of feeling like they’re not in control is getting to her.

Is it only something you can see, or can you hear it as well? Aspen continues at a pace she thinks he can maintain for a few hours, not sure where they’re going. Because I can hear it in a person’s voice when they feel like the world is ballooning around them, when they receive a compliment, when they’re embarrassedly waving something off. Smiles are definitely something you could hear, he laments to himself.

The distant light is much closer now — obviously a door with blinding, seamless white behind it. It seems that she is only about to switch from dark to light mode, they think wryly.

But behind the door is not an endless white room, as she anticipated. Aspen sees a stereotypical boring conference room, with a long, polished wood table and rotating black office chairs. Most surprising of all is that there are people in those chairs — friends, family, even a few strangers.

But they are all staring, unblinkingly, at her, even the ones on the closer side of the table. They have swiveled their chairs to face her.

He notices a slight aching in his head, and rubs their scalp, only to find that it worsens quite drastically. She leaves it alone, squinting.

Is the room getting whiter?

One of the women stands up — her mother. She is frowning. In fact, everyone looks a bit somber. And she appears to try to speak aloud, or maybe she doesn’t. Aspen can’t hear anything, really, but it’s clear she’s speaking quite sternly. Aspen shrinks, shrivels, under her mother’s glare.

And even though only static is roaring in their ears at this point, he can still function strangely well, and to the left, at the end of the table, he spots someone. Someone he has known for quite a while. She feels like her face should be hot, but it isn’t — she can’t feel a thing, actually.

But Aspen’s love turns away. They are the only one not looking at him.

They tear their eyes away from the other’s perfect ones and look to their father, who is shaking his head despondently, clucking his tongue — or she thinks he is. Spots are appearing in her vision.

And her headache is splitting. It’s all he can do not to cry out, now.

Suddenly, her ears clear of whatever was holding her head hostage and a whiny, enormous, high tone is blaring right in their ears, and he jumps. Aspen cowers and puts his hands over their head, but it’s no use. Part of her wants to break down crying and part of them wants to remain stoic, to be the perfect person everyone around her wants her to be. But she can’t resist the pain for long.

Someone should really turn down the sun, Aspen thinks ruefully, clutching her head now, naturally trying to distract herself.

Their parents stand there, just watching. They seem mildly confused, and the woman — uh, her mother? — leans over to ask the man, maybe her father, something. Aspen thinks she is trying to figure out what she was just doing.

He sinks to his knees and just holds himself, cradles his knees. His friends all look rather concerned, but not hysterical, like they should be. In fact, one of them, Aspen’s best friend in the entire universe, whispers to another who this kid on the floor is and what they’re doing.

The room is truly blinding white now. Like the pearly whites of a too-wide smile she can’t hear. They see it only, and it haunts his nightmares.

It had been 31 years, 4 months, and an indeterminable amount of days. He gave up on counting those a while ago when he ran out of space on the wall. It hadn't been the longest time anyone had spent in the Afterlife, that title belonged to Schlatt. But it had been a long time. Too long, in fact. He had served enough time and had paid for his crimes (whatever they may be, he wasn't really sure) in spades. It was time for him to leave. He picked himself up from where he had been sitting against the wall for the last year (or two, or three... he stopped keeping track of that as well), wincing as his muscles adjusted to the sudden movement. But that pain was nothing, absolutely nothing, compared to everything he had felt before. So he simply ignored it, and started gathering up the limited supply of blue he had. Not that he'd need it, of course. When he got out of here, Friend could help him make all the blue he would ever want.

"Where're you going, Ghostbur?" Ranboo asked as he wandered past him, looking up from the journal he had been writing in. He could see ripped out pages surrounding him, but knew better than to ask about the contents. Honestly, Ghostbur didn’t really see the appeal of writing down things. It didn’t help him remember, and it only served to be a collection of secrets that someone could get their hands on. But Ghostbur knew better than to bring up this topic. "I’m going out." He said simply, barely sparing him a second glance. When Ranboo had first wound up there, thirteen years ago, the two had been practically inseparable. He had tried his hardest to make his stay in the Afterlife a little less miserable. After all, Ranboo had people that cared about him. Surely, he'd get revived in only a couple of days. But when it became clear that Ranboo was going to stay for a while, Ghostbur's words couldn't cheer him up anymore. He wasn't the one that Ranboo needed to hear. So, they fell into the cycle of not-quite-friendship that they still remained in. "Out?" Ranboo questioned, repeating his words back to him. Ghostbur nearly sighed in annoyance. He really didn't have time for this. But if this plan didn't work, his already miserable existence would be practically intolerable. So instead, he just turned to Ranboo with a smile that didn't quite travel to his eyes. "Out." He confirmed. "I'm getting out of here." If he had been anyone else, had been anyone but the happy-go-lucky ghost that couldn't grasp anything serious and got killed by his own idiocy, then maybe Ranboo would've been able to take his words seriously. But instead, he barely concealed a laugh and got back to whatever he was writing. "Sure. Make sure to say hi to everyone before you leave." Ghostbur nodded and continued on his way. Ranboo didn't matter.

"Heyyyyy, Ghostburrrrrr!" Schlatt greeted, slurring his words as the alcohol sloshed in his ever-filling bottle. Of all the things he could've wished for the Afterlife to give him... Alivebur had been the first person to discover the Afterlife's sympathy for its occupants, but Ghostbur had been the one to take advantage of it. He had a certain way with the void, knowing just what to ask for without pushing his limits. Blue, a journal, cards, alcohol... Their wishes were the only thing keeping them entertained in this hell. Even if Ghostbur thought it was a bit of a waste. "Hello, Schlatt. I hope you’re doing well today." Before the ram hybrid could respond, Mexican Dream popped up from under the table. "Ayy, Ghostbur!" The smile that painted Ghostbur's face was actually genuine this time as he faced his only real friends. "Hey, MD. I hope you're doing well too." MD slid himself into a chair next to Schlatt, and gestured to the other empty chair. "Wanna play some cards? We could even do that Go Fish game you like." Ghostbur shook his head. "Sorry, I don't have time. I actually came to say goodbye." In a rare moment of actually caring for someone else, Schlatt stood up and walked over to him. "You're not gonna do anything drastic, are you? Like, throw yourself onto the tracks as a train comes, or anything? I don't know if we can die again, but I don't want to find out." Touched by the amount of concern his friend showed, Ghostbur threw him into one of his spontaneous hugs. It had taken Schlatt a while to get used to them, but now he didn't really mind. "No, don't worry about that. I'm in a better place now. But I'm saying goodbye because I'm leaving the Afterlife."

MD also stood up and stood next to his friends. "And how are you going to do that, mi fantasma amigo?" Ghostbur grinned confidently as he explained the plan that had taken him years to come up with. As he explained, he could see Schlatt nodding along, and a smile creeping its way onto MD’s face. When he finished, neither of them said anything, until Schlatt sighed and broke the silence. “Ghostbur, I think you’re absolutely crazy. But that plan might just be crazy enough to work.” That vote of confidence from Schlatt, of all people, was enough for Ghostbur to know that he could actually do this. MD clapped him on the back, and Ghostbur winced a little. “Lo siento, Ghostbur. I’m just excited that you’re getting out.” He noticed that neither of them asked to come with him. He knew it was probably impossible, considering what he was trying to do, but he still wanted to offer. “Do you guys want to-“ Schlatt cut him off before he could even finish. “No thanks, ‘bur. We kind of belong here, not that we could even escape using your plan. But hey, if you get your hands on the Revival Book…” He doesn’t finish his sentence, but Ghostbur knew what he was getting at. “Schlatt. I pinky promise that I will do everything I can to bring you and MD back.” MD laughed and gave him a high five, taking care to be more gentle this time. “That’s our Ghostbur!” They started walking to where Ghostbur would make his escape, happily chattering about what they would do when they got out of here. It was honestly a little scary for Ghostbur, to know that all they placed all their hopes in him. But he knew that he wouldn’t disappoint them.

Or at least he really hoped he wouldn’t.

C/N: I had a lot of writer’s block and demotivation once I posted Star’s and lost my account. So I started it, then waited over a vast expanse of time. It is now 3/27/22 and I only kept the very first line from my original draft (everything after that was spontaneously spewed on the 27th). Interestingly, I expanded a little and invented new fears to incorporate. See if you can name them all. I probably can’t.

They want me to play for them… I know that much.

Tonight is pouring drastically, and these streets are swept with a new river forming over the road that is hurled so far and fast by the wind that it comes slightly up off the pavement every few seconds.

Why am I outside? I do not know. But I’m terrified, and shivering — and not because of the cold. In fact, I can’t feel a thing. I’m reminded of the way I feel when having a nightmare, because I feel very asleep, but I can’t seem to wake up. So, going by bad instincts — dreams don’t let you really think, after all — I slowly edge down the hill I’m on, to where the water is, rising. Muffled thunder burrows deep into my skull, and it strikes fear into my heart.

They want me to play for them… the people up ahead.

I must get to them in order to play.

But… no, it can’t be. I strain my ears. Is that… someone replacing me?

I hear the song I was supposed to be playing.

No, wait. I’ve never heard that before.

But somehow I know I was supposed to play it. And I start to feel relieved, actually, that I’m not up there trying to play a song I don’t know, but then I feel my fingers twitching, and I know that I do know how to play it.

It scares me a little that I forgot all about all of the water below.

I skirt the rain — never hurt anybody — and continue my never-ending search, following the haunting notes that reverberate through the city, glancing like starlight off of glass windows hundreds of feet in the air.

I don’t want to go toward the creepy piano, but my feet are giving me no choice. I hate feeling like I’m not in control.

Besides, emotional and social pressure is giving me no choice. There are people watching me. I wonder why they’re not at the show.

Maybe I’ll have to arrive alone.

So you know that one day here equals a month in limbo? Just thought I'd remind everyone how long each dead person has been dead.

• JSchlatt: 40 and a half years

• Ghostbur: 26 years 10 months

• Ranboo: 9 years and 1 month.

• Mexican Dream: 38 years 3 months

Wow, isn't that pain.

I heard Ranboo's supposed to be revived soon lore-wise. Hope he doesn't have any lasting effects from what will probably be upwards of 10 years trapped in what's rumored to be a horrible limbo. We saw what 13 did to Wilbur.

Speaking of, poor Ghostbur. Mans been stuck wherever he is for so long.

Anyways, that's all I wanted to say.

So it’s been almost a year. A year since what? Since I started my mission to reveal why the ghosts seem all so different. I came up with one theory a while ago and basically just stopped. My list of all the ghost appearances stopped after March of last year and I hadn’t looked at the page in months. But then one sleepless night… well not really sleepless it just took me a bit. Anyways, I came up with a poem and I came up with more ghost crap. Already posted that first one yesterday. So here’s the update list of ghost stuff and my thoughts:

Similarities Between All Ghosts:

1. They are all dead (obviously).

2. They all are somewhat oblivious/clueless. Ghostbur and Ghostboo don’t see anything bad, Glatt gets easily distracted and off topic, and Mexican Dream doesn’t seem to get the bigger picture.

3. They all have another version of themselves in the Afterlife.

4. Ghostbur, Glatt, Ghostboo, and Mexican Dream are all paler and more watered down then their live counterparts.

5. They all seem to want to do the opposite from what they were like when they died. Ghostbur wants to keep everyone happy and calm and he wants to protect L’Manburg contrary to him dying insane and destroying L’Manburg, Glatt wants to stay healthy and fit contrary to him dying from drinking to much, Mexican Dream wanted to kill Quackity and was very angry contrary to him dying protecting Tommy and Mamacita, and Ghostboo just wants to live out his life in peace without worrying about anything contrary to Ranboo constantly worrying about everything.

6. The four ghosts seem to represent the 5 stages of grief. Ghostbur is denial, Glatt is bargaining, Mexican Dream is both anger and grief, and Ghostboo is acceptance.

Similarities Between Multiple, But Not All Ghosts:

1. Glatt, Ghostboo, and Ghostbur have different names from when they were human.

2. Ghostbur and Mexican Dream seem to be in a constant state of some emotion, and struggle internally when not feeling it. For Ghostbur it’s joy and for Mexican Dream it’s grief.

3. Glatt and Ghostbur both can’t be around a certain natural object without decaying. For Ghostbur it’s water and for Glatt it’s sunlight.

4. Ghostbur and Mexican Dream seem to have a strong attachment to their old homes, L’Manburg and El Rapids.

5. Glatt and Ghostbur both seem to not want correlation between them and their spirit counterparts. Ghostboo doesn’t seem to mind, but he doesn’t like how Ranboo acted.

6. Ghostboo and Ghostbur both seemed to want to make up for what they did when they were alive. Unknown for Mexican Dream.

7. Ghostboo and Ghostbur are in different clothes from their live counterparts.

Notable Qualities of Individuals:

1. Ghostbur’s Memory Loss

2. Ghostbur is significantly different from Wilbur, unlike Mexican Dream and Glatt, though this could be because of his overwhelming joy which Wilbur did not have much of.

3. Glatt repeating his name.

4. Ghostbur’s melting in water.

5. Glatt’s burning in sunlight.

6. Mexican Dream’s crying.

7. Ghostboo dying when he hums and sings.

8. Ghostboo has a wound.

Possibly Important Facts:

1. Ghostbur is one of three characters with memory loss. The others are Karl and Ranboo. Karl gets it from the Inbetween and Ranboo’s origin is unknown. It is unknown if Ghostboo has Ranboo’s memory problems.

2. At one point, Tommy had to have been a ghost because he visited Glatt’s gym. However, we never got to see him in this state.

3. Wilbur and Tommy’s Afterlife states are the same as how they acted in the Overworld. We have yet to see Schlatt, Ranboo, and Mexican Dream in the Afterlife.

4. During Wilbur’s Resurrection, Schlatt, not Glatt, entered Ghostbur’s body. Wilbur also was able to speak to Tommy and Tubbo after the Disc Confrontation, meaning it is possible for the normal versions of these people to come to the Overworld, but for short periods of time.

5. Both Schlatt and Wilbur have claimed that they don’t want to be resurrected, however, their ghost versions do. Despite this, Wilbur seemed happy to be back once he was in the Overworld.

6. A ghost replaces the live counterpart in Limbo when they are resurrected.

7. Resurrecting someone doesn’t take any objects other than a book and quill.

8. Philza said that resurrecting needs a totem, though Dream’s method doesn’t take one.

9. You spawn back where you died when you are resurrected.

10. You only get one canon life back when you are resurrected. (Not officially confirmed, but both Tommy and Sam have mentioned it).

11. You keep some wounds from your old body when you're resurrected, specifically the wound that killed you. It’s shown in Wilbur, however it’s impossible to tell with Tommy since his could have been internal.

12. You gain your ghost's memories when you are resurrected.

13. The Afterlife is different for everyone. Wilbur’s was a train station and Tommy’s was a void, tunnel thing.

14. Wilbur says that when he was resurrected, a train came and Ghostbur was on it and Dream was conducting the train. This means that Dream possibly goes to the Afterlife to resurrect people or perhaps it was all in Wilbur’s mind.

15. Jack somehow died and came back to life without help.

16. One month in the Overworld is one year in Limbo.

17. When Wilbur came back to life he had a streak white hair. It is unknown if this is from age or if it is from Limbo itself. Tommy does not have this white streak.

Im not gonna post the ghost appearance list. Anyways, my thoughts. The whole thing that Ranboo has a wound where he died is very interesting. You cant even say that the others just didn’t add it to there skin because Revivbur has a wound but Ghostbur doesn’t. Does it have something to do with Ranboo’s species? It also should be noted that it’s not just his eyes that are different colors, but the color of his blood is completely split in half. Strange.

I came up with the whole 5 stages of grief thing the other night. It makes sense but I don’t think it means anything and it’s likely just me over analyzing. Still odd tho since it’s also in the order the ghosts showed up (showed up. Not died).

I wonder if MD can die in some weird way. Glatt has sun, Ghostbur has water, and Ghostboo has humming, whatever that means. Based on what Ghostboo said about how he disappears from existence if he hums and dances, it’s likely the same for Ghostbur and Glatt.

Is there another way for resurrection? Cause Phil did something at Wilbur’s attempted revival. Could you actually use a totem?

Dream seems to need the ghost to resurrect people so do ghosts appear where they died? I don’t see how else he would have access to Ghostinnit.

Eclipse!Dras is canonically about 91,386 years old, having spent a grand total of 91,371 years in goddamned Limbo.

I’ve never been to the Hollywood Bowl in California, but I guess you could say I’m at a knock-off….

We’re in a decent cave, roof stretching high above, arcing in a stage hood. There are bright lights focused on me, but I don’t know how I got there. I only like singing by myself - or, sometimes, letting all my dancing out on an abandoned, rained field at night, with sweeping gestures and leaps.

But for some reason, I seem unable to pull any of that off now.

Important-looking people and people I want to like me are in the crowd, frowning. I am frozen on stage. I can tell they want to be supportive, but my act absolutely sucks. I can’t remember any who came before me, nor my name. I am frozen. How did I even get here?

A droplet of water drips from the cracks in the ceiling onto me, and I shiver in distaste and fear. My stomach is starting to hurt, and it smells like spicy cinnamon.

And then I see my surroundings…

The world starts to clear. I notice shifting forms behind the crowd, lurking beside my stage, waiting for me. I am terrified that they are wraiths of some sort. Hovering, I don’t know what they are. And the walls are suddenly covered in terrifying, tiny holes, blinking and blinking, telling me I’ll fall in. Everywhere, everywhere.

What do I do? It’s not a fork in the road - it’s a waterfall off of a rushing river. My face feels too warm, like it’s the middle of a hot day. I find myself wishing it was an actual waterfall I am heading toward. Then, at least, I’d have some water for the bile building in my throat. I could cool off, and….

They are waiting for me. What am I up here to do?

There are apparently people in this world who think that ten invisible lights per square foot is a good idea. I have never experienced so much retinal damage.

It’s also too crowded in here.

There are apparently hundreds of people stuffed into this tiny room. I have never wanted to smell another person up close like this.

It’s also too loud in here.

There are apparently thousands of people who don’t care. I have never seen a featureless face. Only the faint shape of a nose is there, and their arms flail and point in a tide of angry body language.

It’s also too cramped in here.

I can’t shove my way past them to a dark corner, because the room is round and there are too many bright, large noises everywhere - they’d only chase me down, corner me if there were corners, and hunch over me, blocking out my world as I shrink against the wall. I have never heard of a room that needed so many opinions.

It’s also too shrill in here.

There are apparently millions of people all screaming their heads off at me. I have never felt so trapped.

It must be day six hundred by now. I’m in the middle, or in a corner, or against the wall, huddled in a ball of insanity.

It’s utterly silent except for the humming in my ears.

Not ringing - humming. I don’t know how to explain it, but I’m being driven insane.

There is no furniture, no life, no cracks in the walls to make up stories about. It’s a big, dead, boring section of the universe that I hope never to see again.

In fact, it’s so white and big that I’m not even sure it’s a room - it may just be a void.

There is nothing to do and peace is now torture.

When I first got here, I thought that a moment of solitude, of composure, from the harsh world was a blessing.

But I’m dead, and the dead can never return.

There isn’t even any true sound except for the relentless fuzz pushing at my senses.

I started making a DSMP OC but then ran out of motivation to finish them. I thought I'd go ahead and share them with y'all anyways though

A revived player named Guinea (short for Guinea pig)

• They're based on Dream’s threat:

“I'll kill you again...and then I'll revive you and kill you again and revive you and kill you again and revive you and kill you again.”

• They don’t remember their real name, but Dream calls them Guinea, so they go by that now.

• They have Completely white hair from how many times they've been revived

• They have no sense of time anymore

• They hate the afterlife and will do anything Dream says to avoid getting killed again.

• Their Limbo is incredibly painful both emotionally and physically.

• Dream basically has complete control over them. If they do anything against Dream's orders he’ll just kill them, wait from a couple of hours to a few days, then bring them back. Every time they come back they apologize profusely and promise to never upset Dream again.

• Their ghost is completely mute and just sort of follows Dream around till it gets sent back to the afterlife when Dream revives them again. Though he’ll never admit it, it really creeps Dream out.

• They’re never allowed to wear armor

• Everyone else on the server thinks they died a long time ago. Only Dream knows why “their ghost never appeared”

And that's pretty much all I have written down for them. Feel free to steal this and make your own OC based off of it since I'm probably never going to use this, just please credit me at least a little if you do.

Also, I have a lot of abandoned OCs like this one, so let me know if you want to see more stuff like this. I will gladly provide it if people are interested.

This is my second adaption of what @SunriseUnicorn's limbo would look like based off of the information they gave me about their fears and/or insecurities. I had fun with all of these!! Credits to Jasmyn Flowers for starting the trend that prompted people to post their limbo-infos.

C/N: Roxxie’s limbo is a bit different, as they didn’t really give limbo information, per se. This is more of an expansion on what they wrote for themselves. Also, I have made two different versions of this!! This is version 2.

Limbo description:

~

The car Roxxie is in is deeply furnished with vintage golds and expensive woods.

Plush velvet seats dot the small room, and soft, Gryffindor-style wallpaper lines everything but the window. It’s a wide little cubby, with perfect little shelves for baggage and perfect little miniature closets for clothing. Knowing Roxxie, the closets will probably not be used for that.

But it’s not the sliding glass door, or the free slippers in one of the closets, that takes Roxxie’s breath away. It’s the view.

Lucky it’s there, too, because there’s nothing else to look at or do. Very quickly, she gets bored of the perfectness around her. She stands up and sidles over to the window; it has a golden frame and perfectly smooth glass. No one could ask for a better window. It’s a bit silly, really, what with the ribbons ready for holding the curtains aside and the LED lights for night viewing on the outside of the window, on the train itself.

Her fingers struggle with the fancy contraptions and finally manage to get the window ajar, cool air flowing in.

The strange thing, though, is that she feels no harsh wind, hears no rush of steam. It is quite peaceful, even if it is unnatural.

She closes her eyes, breathes, and lets a small smile slip through.

All right. Moment over.

She reopens her eyes and gazes out at the tranquil countryside. Orchards speed by, crumbling fences and walls standing along the ground. They are passing a collection of meadowy hills. Roxxie adores free, open places where she can dance and call and no one will ever tell her to stop.

But then, just as silver wings of oblivion prepare to take her into the sky, she notices shapes.

Are they whats or whos?

They are her friends. It is really them. Is it really them? It is, is it?

She knows them. She looks to them and tries to tell him that soon she will join them, but suddenly her feet are planted and she is rooted to her tiny compartment.

They turn away, or they do not notice her. Either way, no one cares.
