Chapter Six: Vibrant Colors (From the Lights Fade Away)
-- 。°✩ ☾⋆。°✩ ˚・--
Purpled slipped into the dim Syndicate Meeting Room. A small round table stood in the center of the room, six chairs sitting around it. Purpled narrowed his eyes, mouth set in a grim line. A corner of the room was much darker than the rest.
"Daemon. Face me."
Daemon turned around from his corner. Centerless milky-white voids peered intelligently at Purpled. The superhuman creature had black skin and was dressed in the dark color as well, red outlines on his shoulders. The hood of his cloak was drawn up, covering black hair. Small horns protruded from his forehead, and a thin tail swished tauntingly.
He smiled pleasantly. "Please, call me BadBoyHalo. Hi, Iris. How are you?"
"I'm fine, but I'd be better off when you and Ember are gone."
Bad narrowed his eyes. "What did Ember ever do to you?"
Purpled decided to play it safe. "Not much, he just burned down a few countries and traumatized a few kids. Nothin' too personal." His cheeky response earned a friendly grin from Bad.
Daemon/Bad was an Intriguer and a Shadower, a Slashskill. He was able to Manipulate, an ability that allows Intriguers to have access to their victims' thoughts; pretty much mind control and mind reading in a package deal. However, his skills are not as powerful as the Puppetmaster's. While the Puppetmaster could Manipulate anyone he wished to and as many as ten people at once, Bad could only do so for one person at a time, and for a short period.
Bad also has the abilities of a Shadower. Although unable to appear and disappear entirely, he is able to control darkness, and could conceal himself by cloaking himself in shadows. Basically, he could create anything using pure darkness, including living beings. His skills also go into a metaphorical sense. Bad is able to overwhelm victims with paralyzing feelings of fear, sadness or anger.
But fortunately, BadBoyHalo is known as the Dream Team Saint for his personality. Still, it'd be better to avoid provoking the good-natured Voidling...
Too late though, haha. Guess I'll have to fight.
"Feisty, are you not?" Daemon scowls, eyes slitted, and unsheathes his sword.
Purpled cocked his head, giving a coy smile. The netherite rapier in his grip hummed with energy, begging to taste blood. "I guess you could call me that."
"I really don't want to hurt you, but the captain's orders." A soft puff was audible, and suddenly Daemon disappeared in a cloud of dark smoke. The room's electricity flickered, then went pitch-black.
Purpled squeezed his eyes shut and sighed.
Both Gifteds heard a crackle. A small violet light appeared in the center of the room; Purpled's fist was glowing with electricity, and soon, his sword lit up as well. The young man grinned from beneath his mask. Moments later, a pop was heard as a lightbulb exploded from energy, and the room lit up with an eerie majestic purple glow.
His antennae twitched, Swiftly, he whirled around and a crash of netherite on obsidian could be heard as Purpled deflected Daemon's blow. "The lighting is much better, huh? More dramatic."
"I prefer the dark." Daemon whirled around and disappeared in another puff of smoke. A dark cloud began to rise, and uneasiness prickled the hairs on Purpled's arm. A few seconds later, the temporarily-electric lights dimmed greatly.
"That's not fair," Purpled commented, until he saw a darker mass in the silhouette of a humanoid. He swung his sword at it, only to realize with a sinking feeling when it cut clean through, shadow dissipating.
Alarms flashed in his mind as he suddenly danced to the side, yelping when a sharp blade carved down his arm. His head spun, warm liquid spilling down his arm. That would've cut me in half.
Another attack smashed down against Purpled's sword. He gritted his teeth as intense shockwaves slammed through his body. The grinding of metal blended with the alarm sirens in the distance. His thoughts clouded as blood continued to drain from his arm, and his grip faltered just enough for Daemon to shove him to the ground.
No electricity skills, it drains his energy too quickly. No fighting techniques were useful since he was on the ground. Purpled couldn't think clearly and could only raise his sword as Daemon's came down. As the metal crashed, Daemon's eyes widened.
"Whoa. Fudge, you're—you're a kid!" Daemon exclaimed. He dropped his weapon. "I can't kill a kid!"
"Took you long enough," Purpled panted. The room was spinning, and the edge of his vision was fading. With a pained grunt, he pulled himself up, leaning heavily against the wall. "So you're not gonna kill me?"
"No."
"Can you tell me where the Puppetmaster is?" Purpled asked as he tore off a strip of his jacket and tied it around his arm the best he could.
"Dream? No, I can't tell you. Sorry. But Callahan could help, maybe. Gotta go now, my partner's waiting." With a puff of smoke, Daemon disappeared, without giving Purpled a chance to speak and probably leaving Ember behind as well. Bewildered, Purpled started walking back, still dazed. He hoped the others were safe.
-- 。°✩ ☾⋆。°✩ ˚・--
After checking up on the three boys he'd left behind, Purpled visited the medic, Daphne. He was not surprised to see Artemis there. She grinned at him and waved, her hand and wrist bandaged. Purpled smiled back and pushed aside the curtain to Daphne's room.
"Not another one." Daphne grimaced at the blood-soaked cloth. "What happened to you?"
"Daemon happened. It's not that bad," Purpled assured her, even as he winced. "I just thought I should stop by so you wouldn't kill me."
"You thought right," Daphne smiled affectionately and started changing his bandages.
"What happened to Artemis?"
"Same as you. She and Wilbur had a run-in with Ember." Daphne shook her head. "You know, her being her, she fought him off. She's quite a good fighter, you know. She'll recover, like she always does."
"Oh, okay. Good. Is Wilbur alright?"
"Yeah, he is. Ember poofed off too." The news reassured Purpled enough to drop by and have a talk with Callahan.
Harpocrates looked up when Purpled approached him in the Syndicate lobby. The satyr smiled easily.
Hello, Iris, he signed.
Purpled gave one of his rare friendly smiles to Callahan, also known as Harpocrates. "Purpled for now is fine," he assured.
How can I help you today?
"I had a run-in with Daemon earlier." At Callahan's concerned look, he added, "don't worry, I'm fine. He told me to ask you about the Puppetmaster's whereabouts?"
Ah, of course. You'll have to find him along with the other three.
"As in, the three?"
Yes. It's written in fate.
Callahan had special abilities, but wasn't necessarily a Gifted. No one actually knew exactly what Callahan was. Rumors say Harpocrates was a deity, god of the timestream. Others say that he is an oracle, or a psychic capable of predicting the future. In any way, he was all-knowing. Purpled knew better than to ignore Callahan's judgement.
"All right then, I'll go find them."
As Purpled turned to leave, Callahan signed one last message to him. Purpled paused, processing the message. He then accepted Callahan's gift, tucking it into his jacket pocket and zipping it up for extra security. "Alright, I understand. Thank you."
Good luck, Purpled.

"Iris! You're back! Are you okay?" Ranboo asked the moment Purpled returned to the bunker. Purpled gave a short nod to him, before tossing Tommy his confiscated backpack.
"Here, take that." Purpled proceeded to return Ranboo's bag as well. He then slung a black pack full of supplies onto his own back.
"You three." He gestures to Tommy, Slimecicle and Ranboo. "You three are leaving with me."
"The fuck? Who do you think you are, bitch?" Tommy gaped at him. "And what about Will? And my dad?"
"They know. You'll be back to them soon." Tommy looked like he was about to protest again, but silenced himself at Purpled's glare.
"We could come," Ranboo offered. "But where are you taking us?"
"We're going to find someone called the Puppetmaster. Ranboo, can you let us out of here? I really don't want to run into anyone unpleasant."
Ranboo froze. "I uh, sure? Right now?"
"If you're okay with it."
A swirl of purple mist began to surround the four boys. "Whoa, this is goopy," Slimecicle exclaimed, looking elated. Bluish sparks of energy crashed and collided in the smoke around them. Purpled looked down and saw his fingertips disintegrating into pale particles.
Callahan was right. Soon his senses faded until all he could see was red and green eyes, and all he could feel was a comforting warmth.
A sudden cool wind snapped him back to reality, and he opened his eyes. Moonlight dappled the pine needle carpets of the forest in front of them, pearly rays filtering through lush green leaves. Early-morning passerine melodies could be heard in the distance. He turned to Ranboo. "Thanks."
"No problem." The hybrid looked a bit shaken from something earlier. As Purpled was about to ask what was wrong, a fwoop sound could be heard. Three boys turned to Tommy.
Tommy's blond hair was a shining silver-rimmed golden halo, blue eyes sparkling and mirroring the heavens. He leaned back, pulling his arms above his head. Two giant black wings that resembled crows' unfurled and stretched, feathers glinting with the sheen of snowflake obsidian. He looked like an angel.
Tommy turned to Purpled's impressed stare. He grinned, full of energy. "It's about damn time."

Life's been pretty crazy lately. Purpled couldn't keep up. You'd think the anniversary of your brother and sole family member's disappearance would give you an excuse to take the day off, right?
Yeah, no. And frankly, Purpled was utterly exhausted. But a job's a job, and Punz trained him well.
It started with self defense. Punz had sprung up the question one day, while they sat with a galaxy puzzle splayed on Purpled's desk. Punz claimed his little brother needed to know how to protect himself in case something inevitably went wrong.
Of course, Purpled agreed. And they worked on that together. In a month, he was able to deflect nearly all of Punz's advances, and knew how to hold someone in a chokehold, how to use different self-defense devices, and how to knock the assailant off-balance.
Then they started on offense. Punz taught him everything he knew; swords, spears, knives, bows, axes, pickaxes, hand-to-hand, martial arts, explosives, even how to fight with a shovel. Purpled regretted never asking where Punz learned.
And Purpled had given his all, but it wasn't enough. Punz just decided to walk away. He left.
Only a few days after his brother departed for one of his "business trips," Purpled had discovered a small box of envelopes on Punz's desk. Although thinking Punz had probably wanted them private, twelve-year-old Purpled's curiosity got the best of him.
He sat down and read them, one afternoon.
And when he exited the room, he wasn't the same anymore.
Inside he knew, Punz only wanted the best for him. He did this for the two of them. But it was still so horrible. Punz had only been fifteen, working as a mercenary to earn money for them.
A part of Purpled was sympathetic and worried for his brother. The other half was furious that Punz had kept it from him. He wanted to be there for his sibling, and Punz had pushed him away.
Still, Punz was his brother, and his whole family. Purpled awaited his return, so that they could sit down and talk things out, and within a few days things would be completely fine again between them.
He didn't think much when Punz was a few days late. He was a bit confused when Punz hadn't returned after a week. But he kept going on the futile waiting for a loved one who's already been lost.
A month over the return date. Purpled's birthday quietly slipped by. Two months. He took up mandolin as a hobby. Three months. Christmas crept by silently, and Purpled didn't even notice. He watched New Year go by alone.
Four months.
Punz wasn't coming back.

"Wilbur? Shit, man, I gotta go! I mean, I gotta find Wilbur!" Tommy whirled around and started to dash out the door. He stumbled straight into the other "captive," the Slime who had been taking in with Ranboo. Slimecicle had somehow escaped containment.
"Whoa, hey buddy! Be careful!" Slimecicle called cheerily. Tommy shrugged him off and made a run for it.
"Stay here," Purpled ordered Ranboo. Then he cursed softly before turning and running out, chasing after the reckless blond teen.
Stupid, stupid, stupid. He's gonna get murdered.
"Tommy!" Purpled hissed into the flashing red halls. "Toms?"
Mad footfalls echoed from a corridor to the left. Purpled groaned in annoyance, and followed. What an idiot. He's obviously never heard of neither Ember nor Daemon before! They're gonna kill him.
––•꒰ঌ ꨄ︎ ໒꒱•––
Tommy skidded to a halt when he overheard his brother's voice. Resisting the urge to shout out, Tommy clenched his jaw and listened just out of sight.
"I don't know where he is," Wilbur's voice growled.
A soft-edged, unfamiliar voice laughed softly. "I'm sure you wouldn't want him to meet someone less merciful, Orpheus? If we don't get to him now, what are the chances he'd find trouble?"
"He doesn't get into trouble. It finds him first," Wilbur defended.
"What if that trouble comes in the form of something deadly? Or should I say, someone?"
"That won't happen. I've promised Lady Death I'd take care of her son."
Tommy's blood chilled. Lady Death, and Wilbur referring to her son...
They're talking about me.
"I know you'd do anything to protect Tommy," the person confirmed, "and I respect that. But what are you going to do when he runs into someone like Sapnap? Or Dream? Or Punz?"
Tommy knew who Dream was. People called him the Puppetmaster, the Spider, He who Pulls, God of the Marionettes. Dream sounded quite terrifying.
Sapnap and Punz, though, Tommy didn't like the sound of those names.
Suddenly both voices quieted. "He's coming. Ember is coming," the unknown person(?) warned. "Good luck, Orpheus." Tommy decided it was his time to step out, and waited a good ten seconds while faking footsteps growing louder. He heard Wilbur shuffling around, trying to look normal, most likely.
Tommy hated liars, and it seemed he couldn't even trust his own big brother anymore. He rounded the corner and ploughed into Wilbur.
"Tommy? What're you-" Wilbur spun around, seemingly startled. Such a good actor. "What are you doing here?"
"I could say the same for you. Why didn't you tell me you were part of this shit? Why didn't you tell me this crappy hotel was an underground base?" Tommy shot back.
"I'm not part of this, Tommy, I swear," Wilbur started.
"No time to explain, 'pheus." Tommy turned at the sound of Iris's voice. "We have to go. They know where we are." Chills were sent down Tommy's spine when he saw the look on Iris's face. Fear.
Tommy remembered that Iris was still so young, having to go through all this in a fucked-up world, alone. This place is so messed up.
-- 。°✩ ☾⋆。°✩ ˚・--
"We have to go. They know where we are," Purpled breathed, after getting lost and finally catching up to Tommy. He knew he had intruded on something important, but it probably could wait.
Tommy stared at Purpled. For a moment, the poor boy looked mortified. But before he could reply, loud, heavy footsteps rapidly started approaching them.
Purpled's eyes widened. "Quick, to the right. Run." He turned to the two boys behind him, calculating the distance between the bunker and the intruder. "Go," he ordered, giving Tommy a shove towards the bunker. When they didn't move, Purpled called for them to leave again. "Back to the bunker. Find Artemis and Aphrodite. Go! Hurry!"
Then he turned and ran with light, padded strides to the meeting room. There was a dark aura coming from that direction, and from Punz's lessons, only Daemon could make that type of energy. Not knowing what to expect, he drew his sword.

Las Nevadas was quite a big nation.
Like, it was ginormous. As Ranboo looked on, he felt as if the capitol city would be half the size of the entire state of Snowchester.
Sighing, he thought about his little cabin for perhaps the thousandth time in the past two days. He missed it dearly, and longed to go back. But the whole trip, Dream had been completely silent. Maybe Ranboo was right.
He glanced at his friend next to him. "Ranboo from Snowchester, is this Las Nevadas?" Slimecicle asked excitedly. Even at night, Las Nevadas' bright lights illuminated all things around, rivaling the moon and stars.
"Yeah, it is," Ranboo replied softly, but felt giddy and more explosive than a block of TNT. He felt like the sparkling snow drink from Snowchester.
Snowchester again?
Ranboo sighed, before moving forwards again. Like always, Slime followed happily.
They had met about a day ago. Ranboo had seen a blobby green humanoid wearing a white suit, crying at the edge of a forest. He asked if Slime was alright, and the two became friends rather quickly.
Ranboo had explained he was heading towards Las Nevadas, and Slime asked to come along. Of course, Ranboo agreed, thinking he'd want the company, and that they could become friends. However, that proved to be much more difficult than originally thought.
It was hard having a friend when you've lived in solitude your entire life. Ranboo didn't really talk to anyone and kept conversations with merchants and townspeople to a minimum. Having a companion who wasn't weird and annoying (like Dream) was strange, albeit Ranboo was pleased by the easy friendship.
Ranboo teleported himself and Slime into the "town square," patiently waiting as Slime rushed around pointing out every single store, person, and plant. Lost in his thoughts, Ranboo didn't notice the new person approaching until Slime called out, "Look, Ranboo from Snowchester! A new friend!"
"Hello!" A small being cheered in a warbly, enchanting voice. Ranboo looked down. It was inconvenient, interacting with a shorter person when Ranboo was freakishly tall at over six and a half feet, and this new guy was about four feet tall.
Ranboo respectfully bent down. The good-natured fellow didn't seem to react, gushing an introduction. "Hi, I'm Alien! What's your name?" They didn't appear to be human, with pitch-black void eyes with question mark pupils set in unnaturally pale skin. A cute face was framed by neck-length black hair and bangs, half of the bangs a neon green. A bright cape was tied on their back.
"Uh, hey... I'm Ranboo."
"Where are you from, Ranboo and his friend?" Alien cocked their head at Slime, who had ran over to meet the new person.
"That's my buddy Slimecicle. I'm from Snowchester, and he's from L'Manberg."
"L'Manberg?" Alien's eyes widened. "What's it like there?"
"Very nice, I'm guessing," Slime announced proudly. Then the smile faded from his lips as he remembered an unpleasant memory.
"So uh," Ranboo broke in, shifting uncomfortably. "Do you know a place we could stay for a bit? Like, settle down, find a job?"
"Oh, I recommend the House of the Snowfall. Very good service. Oh, and, Ranboo B'Luvid? Portaler, correct?" Alien lowered their voice. It didn't occur to Ranboo until later that he had only told Alien his first name. "You might wanna watch out. People here are trying to catch you. You're kinda wanted here."
Chills ran down Ranboo's spine, "Me? What did I do?"
"Rumors say you work with Dream. He's kinda a baddie around here."
"Wait, but–"
Alien hastily backed up, a wide grin plastered on their face. "Nice meeting you, Ronnie!" they called, purposefully loud enough for others to hear. "Good luck!"
Ronnie? Dream? Wanted?
The words made Ranboo's head spin. Slimecicle didn't know what Alien was implying either. "Well," the optimistic slime announced cheerfully, "we can work on that later. For now let's try and find the House of the Snowfall!"
Ranboo peered at his map. "Okay, here it says to go west..."
––˙𓆩𓂁𓂄𓆪˙––
Ranboo wasn't sure what went wrong, but now he's being threatened by a netherite blade, and Slime was in a big tempered-glass box, looking very content and sitting waist-deep in water.
"Please don't hurt me," Ranboo pleaded.
"Sorry, it's my job," Iris dismissed coldly. At least, Ranboo thinks his name is Iris. That was what the tiny purple stitching on his armor read, anyway.
"Whatever you've been told, I'm not working for Dream. I hate that guy, actually. He bullies me and makes me sad."
"Do you know where he is?" Iris asked. When Ranboo shook his head, Iris tried other names. Apparently, he was also looking for Dream's companions: Ember, Daemon and Glitched. Ranboo had never heard of any of them before.
He was also searching for a mercenary named Áspro. "Wow, you're after quite a lot of people," Ranboo attempted to joke. Iris didn't find that funny, still glaring at him with that calculating look. Ranboo silently cursed himself, pondering what to do.
"Ranboo B'Luvid. Affiliated with Dream, also known as the Puppetmaster. Wanted in L'Manberg, Kinoko Kingdom, Logstedshire, and Las Nevadas for assault, thievery, arson, and murder." Iris paused, a deadly look in his vibrant purple eyes. "Sound familiar?"
Ranboo was horrified. "What? No! I am Ranboo B'Luvid, but I didn't do any of that! I haven't ever been to L'Manberg, or Kinky Kingdom, I haven't even heard of Logs-died-sure! You have the wrong guy."
"I'm going to have to take you in for questioning," Iris announced quietly. It was clear he didn't believe Ranboo, but the pressure of the blade decreased.
He grabbed Ranboo's forearms firmly, but not enough to hurt.
What did hurt was the sudden jolt of pain that flashed through his wrists. Ranboo yelped, his wrists snapping to each other. It felt like he had been mildly electrocuted. He found he couldn't pry his hands apart. "What the hell?"
"Electrical 'handcuffs'. They'll release when I allow it."
Ranboo came to the conclusion that Iris was a no-nonsense person. As he begrudgingly followed Iris, wrists cuffed together, he asked, "where are we going?"
"To the Syndicate," Iris replied curtly.
It also occurred to Ranboo that Iris didn't talk much.
"This is great, Ranboo from Snowchester! Iris from Las Nevadas is so nice!" Slime called from inside his box on wheels. A wide grin had taken over his face. Iris scoffed in acknowledgement to the comment, continuing to push the box in front of him.

Next update on Monday?
Summer’s story begins shortly before Tommy was exiled from L’manburg, she was new to the server and decided to become a citizen of L’manburg. She wanted to get to know Tommy more so she began to hang out with him more and then feelings began to form for Tommy but she didn’t tell him.
When Tommy blew up George’s house, she eventually figured it out while the rest of the L’manburg council didn’t. Summer then promised to keep the truth a secret, but it made no difference as Dream built the obsidian walls, forcing L’manburg to exile Tommy.
Summer was devastated at the loss of her closest friend on the SMP. She tried to visit Tommy at his new location, but Dream stopped her and said Tommy didn’t want to see anyone and he hated everyone in L’manburg, which was a lie. She didn’t believe it at first, but Dream started to talk in a calm voice and pretended to feel sorry for her. He even called her a good friend but her intentions were no use, so she went back to L’manburg, upset.
Shortly afterward, Summer began to hang out with one of her other close friends, Ranboo. Summer helped Ranboo remember things and even learned a few small greetings in Ender Language. When L’manburg was destroyed by Dream and Technoblade, Summer started getting closer to Tommy. On Valentines Day, she asked out Tommy to be her valentine. Tommy accepted her proposal with glee, but Tubbo had seen the whole thing and thought the wrong things.
Tubbo thought Summer was going to become Tommy’s best friend, and maybe more than that. It would mean he would be forgotten and that idea devastated him. He began to spread lies about Summer throughout the SMP. These lies were mostly about her faking to be nice and kind so she could betray everyone and take over the SMP. Summer had no idea these lies existed until she got into a call with Sapnap and Antfrost and they brought it up. Tubbo didn’t think Summer would be all that upset, because she has never held grudges or been truly angry at anyone, and would forgive him if he faked an apology. Later on, Summer gets a pigstep disc while exploring a Bastion Remnant and has a brilliant idea. She uses an anvil and names it, “T+S”. She gives it to Tommy, reminding him how much his discs meant to him, and that she got them a disc. She said it was, “our disc” and Tommy kept it in his ender chest safely, cherishing it.
The lies spread more and they eventually reached Tommy, who refused to believe them. Tubbo eventually blows up part of his own home and shows Tommy, claiming this was all Summer’s doing. Tommy then starts to actually believe some of the lies, but Tubbo notices it hasn’t damaged the relationship he has with Summer at all, so he decides to do one final lie.
Tubbo goes to the nether and sets up a trap, as he steals Tommy’s belongings. He places them in a dispenser, hanging over the huge lava ocean below the cliff. He then convinces Summer and Tommy to come down to the nether. He tells Summer to go on without them, as he stays behind to try and convince Tommy the lies are true, but he still refuses. They look for Summer and find her next to the contraption Tubbo built. Tubbo then secretly places a button on a specific block, presses it, and breaks it quickly after the machine is activated.
The machine then triggers the dispenser, dropping all of Tommy’s Armor, weapons, and other things, into the lava. Tubbo then pretends to be in shock and accuses Summer of building the machine and destroying the belongings. Then Tommy believes all the lies, and he grabs an ender chest from his inventory and places it down. Summer then looks at Tommy and tells him the lies are lies and that she didn’t do this, but Tommy had already seen and heard enough. He grabbed the T+S disc and walked over to the edge and he gave a betrayed look to Summer. As she tried explaining, Tommy interrupted and said, “Summer, I trusted you. I thought we could be best friends, but I was wrong. Your just kind for the show, and I am finishing this,”.
Summer then made the horrifying realization of what Tommy would do. He then let go of the disc as it plunged into the lava below. Summer said nothing and did not move, and Tubbo smiled discreetly at Summer, but she did not notice. All she was looking at was the lava, where her and Tommy’s symbol of friendship was destroyed. As Tommy walked away, Tubbo joined him and left Summer alone in the nether. Tubbo thought for sure that Summer would realize it was just a disc and Tommy would forgive her one day, and she would forgive Tubbo just like she accepts everyone’s apologies and forgives everyone. But little did Tubbo know, Summer had a breaking point. And he has passed it.
Summer stood alone in the nether, and something in her changed. Part of her kind and forgiving personality had been taken over by a new emotion, rage, fury, anger. She began to head to the portal to return to the overworld. She waited until everyone left the server, and she began to build a tall tower of assorted blocks, and then she jumped down into a body of water. Summer went over to the tower and placed a sign that read, “Band-aids don’t fix bullet holes, The bee has stung, you have been tricked, Hope you're glad :)”.
She then ran far away from the Dream SMP and went over to the Badlands. Summer arrived at Skeppy and BadBoyHalo’s door, and she prayed to them and said the lies were all false and that Tommy and Tubbo had betrayed her, then begged to stay with them. Skeppy was hesitant, but Bad took pity on her and let her stay.
The next day, Tommy logged onto the server and found the huge tower Summer constructed and read the sign she left. He then actually started to think if she was innocent. He then found a chest on the other side of the tower and he opened it to find her sword, Sunny. He also found a paper in the chest that said, “Don’t deserve it”. Tommy wondered why Summer would leave her sword behind to him if she now hated him. He then realized that Summer had lost trust in everyone, even him and herself. Tommy knew that Summer had done the same trick he had done to fake his death, jump into the water. He knew that he had to find Summer before she became completely lost within herself.
Tommy went to Snowchester and begged Tubbo for his help, and told him Summer was actually innocent and she was out there somewhere. Tubbo then told him he had bees in his brain, and that Summer was a cruel person who did nothing but destruction. Tommy then remembered what the sign said, “The bee has stung, you have been tricked,”. He then looked at Tubbo and asked him if he set up the entire thing, but Tubbo hesitated strongly and reminded him that he was Tommy’s best friend. Tommy remembered that Tubbo was the one who got him and Summer to go to the nether, not her. Tommy then snapped and said Tubbo was jealous of Summer and him, and he tried to be number one again. Tubbo was speechless, he was about to respond but Tommy told him that Tubbo was going to lie again and that all the lies have brought him up to this moment. Thanks to Tubbo, Summer could be all alone, or worst. Tubbo did nothing but leave the server, leaving Tommy alone to find Summer.
It had been a few months since Summer had moved in with Skeppy and BadBoyHalo, she used to be a kind and helpful person, collecting wood and resources and giving them to everyone without even being asked to do so. She had changed since the incident with Tommy and Tubbo, and she still thought everyone else on the server including them, hated her. BadBoyHalo often checked in with her to see if she was ok, and she was always glad when he came to see her. Skeppy didn’t really mind Summer that much, and barely ever talked to her. She was always happy to see BadBoyHalo because as far as she knew, he was the only person left on the server who trusted her. She would still act very insecure and terrified around him, she told him what happened and he felt very bad for her and tried comforting her. During her time with BadBoyHalo and Skeppy, she began to become saner and regain some of her personality back.
One day, Tommy reached Bad and Skeppy’s mansion and he asked if they had seen Summer. Bad immediately declined, and Tommy then said he had found out that Summer is innocent and he wants to bring her back to the SMP. Bad sighed and told Tommy that he had actually been giving her shelter, and Tommy was so happy and relieved to know Summer was okay and in good hands. Tommy immediately went inside the house and looked around for Summer and found her room where she was. He opened to door and she expected it to be Bad, but the moment she saw Tommy, she took out her diamond sword. Tommy screamed and he desperately told her that he found out she was innocent and Tubbo had lied to the whole server. Summer stopped dead in her tracks and began to process what he had just said. Bad and Skeppy just watched from the side as it seemed Summer and Tommy were having a staring contest.
As Summer said nothing as Tommy began walking towards her. She backed away the closer he got as she asked if it was a trap to execute her. Tommy knew that convincing Summer wasn’t going to be easy. He then dropped her sword, Sunny, in front of her. Summer couldn’t believe it, Tommy had kept her sword safe and sound and had been looking for her. She realized Tommy did care about her all along. Summer ran to Tommy and burst into tears of joy as she hugged him. She then went over to Bad and Skeppy and thanked them so much for letting her stay with them, but now she had to go. Then she and Tommy started heading back to the Dream SMP.
On their way back, they passed through Snowchester. When Tubbo was heading back home from gathering wood, he saw Summer and Tommy walking back to the SMP together. He became enraged and began to run toward them. Tubbo got in front of them and asked Tommy what he was doing with that traitor. Tommy then reminded him that it was his fault that Summer ran away and that she had lost most of her wonderful personality. Tubbo then grabbed his sword and proceeded to attack Summer. She started to run away and Tommy grabbed his own sword and began to chase after them. Tubbo cornered Summer and told her that she should just forgive him and everything would be over. She became enraged and told him that part of her had been taken over by misery. She then jumped onto the cliff quickly and then launched herself off, quickly placing a slime block to propel herself over him and clobbered Tubbo in the air with her sword. He then died, claiming his final canon life.
Tommy saw that Summer had defeated Tubbo, and he went to make sure she had not taken too much damage. Summer then apologized to Tommy for killing Tubbo, his best friend. Tommy said that after everything, he could not call Tubbo his best friend anymore. Summer gave Tommy a little kiss on the cheek and told him it was time to go home.
Tubbo could not return to the SMP as himself, he became a ghost named Tuboo. He had an idea to keep everyone on his side, he went to Quackity, one of his former L’manburg council members, and told him that Summer had killed him as revenge for telling people the truth. Quackity told Tuboo he would do anything to avenge him, and then Tuboo told him to gather as many people as he could and hunt down Summer, and take away all her canon lives.
Quackity recruited many SMP members, but when he reached BadBoyHalo and Skeppy’s mansion, Bad was surprised to find that everyone else still thought that Summer was guilty. He told Quackity and everyone else that Summer was innocent and he had sheltered her when everyone else betrayed her. Quackity became enraged and told his followers that BadBoyHalo had betrayed everyone by sheltering a fugitive, and he must be punished. Bad knew he could not take on so many people, so he was forced to do what they said, and they said to follow them and not pull any tricks
Skeppy logged onto the server to find that Bad had been captured by the Tubbo Allegiance, and he had to rescue him. Little did he know, the Tubbo Allegiance was leading Skeppy into their trap.
Tommy and Summer arrived at the SMP and headed toward Tommy’s house. There, he and Summer regained their energy and came up with a plan to tell the whole server that Tubbo had lied and Summer had suffered so much from Tubbo’s wrath. Tommy had sent a message through the chat for everyone to meet him in front of the Big Innit Hotel. The Tubbo Allegiance saw the message and immediately began to put their plan into action. With the help of Awesamdude, they built a contraption below the Big Innit Hotel to insure their plan succeeded perfectly. Tommy told Summer to stay hidden until the time was right. It was time to reveal the truth to the whole server, but it was about to backfire on them.
Quackity and the rest of the Tubbo Allegiance, consisting of GeorgeNotFound, Fundy, Awesamdude, and Ph1LzA, began to head to the Big Innit Hotel. Awesamdude was below, preparing the mechanism for their plan. As Tommy stood on top of a spruce wood plank stage in front of the Big Innit Hotel, Summer hid behind the wall of the stage waiting for the right moment to come out. Tommy saw everyone gathering and when everyone was in place, he began. He explained that ever since Summer joined the SMP, she wanted to make peace with everyone, but Tubbo got jealous of her getting too close to Tommy and tried to turn everyone against her. Even he was fooled by Tubbo’s lies, and she had been hiding with Bad and Skeppy for months until he found her and brought her back home. Then he explained how Tubbo tried to get rid of Summer himself, but failed and was killed in the process. Tommy then signaled Summer to come out, and she slowly walked next to him from the back. The Tubbo Allegiance didn’t believe a word and were still under the influence of Tuboo, all they did was wait for the right moment to strike. Summer walked to the center and Tommy moved aside to let her speak, these were her words, “People of the Dream SMP, my introduction here wasn’t the best of them all. Tubbo made my life hard all because jealousy got the best of him. I am just glad to be back, knowing Tubbo can’t hurt me anymore. I want to start over and be friends with everyone and live my life happily!”. Iron bars rose from the floor, trapping Tommy in a cage. BadBoyHalo rose from the floor in a cage as well next to Summer’s other side. GeorgeNotFound and Fundy ran to the stage with their swords and told Summer if she tried to escape, she would be killed. Quackity walked up to the stage and walked towards Summer. He was inches from her face as he said, “We know better you little demon,”
Quackity pointed his crossbow at Summer as he explained that Tuboo, the ghost of Tubbo, had told him everything about how she was the real bad guy. Summer could not believe that a few seconds ago, she thought everyone believed her and trusted her again, but the realization that they still had no care for her made her sanity crack, and it was enough to make her have an emotional breakdown right on the spot. She fell to her knees and began to cry uncontrollably.
At that moment, Skeppy ambushed the Tubbo Allegiance and killed Fundy in the process. He broke the bars to BadBoyHalo’s cage but when he tried to go for Tommy’s cage, Quackity clobbered Skeppy with his sword. Skeppy was at half a heart, so he immediately stopped. Tommy yelled at Summer to help Skeppy, but she stood still, she was paralyzed with terror. Quackity told Skeppy that BadBoyHalo could get away because all he had to do is kill Skeppy to make both of them lose a life. This made Skeppy surrender, and Quackity turned back to Summer, who was still paralyzed. He began to rant about her being evil and how he was going to be known as a hero for getting rid of her. Summer looked to the ground with an emotionless expression, as Quackity didn’t know what was coming up.
Summer began losing more sanity as Quackity kept on talking about her, it was decreasing very slowly until Quackity said one thing that just made her snap, “Tommy will love to see you die,”.
Summer finally looked up slowly at Quackity and said in a low monotone voice to take that back, but he just laughed in her face and said that he meant every single word. She had heard enough, and she started to tower up quickly. Quickly then told the remaining members of the Tubbo Allegiance to get her and kill her. Summer then had a slime block ready in her inventory, as she waited for the right time. Quackity shot his crossbow loaded with a firework at the top of the tower. She leaped off with the slime block in her hand and placed it down as she jumped into the air. She took out her sword and attacked George and Phil in the air, as she used a water bucket to land safely on the ground. George and Phil ran away, leaving Quackity to face Summer. She ran to Tommy’s cage quickly and broke the bars with her pickaxe, and Skeppy ran to join them. Quackity looked at the odds and knew he could not face 3 people on his own. He began to run away but as Tommy and Skeppy called it a victory, Summer began to run after him laughing maniacally. Quackity could hear her laughs as he began to run faster and farther away. Eventually, both Quackity and Summer got tired, and Quackity had already gained lots of distance. Summer decided to let him go for now.
She returned to Tommy and Skeppy and she said that Quackity got away. Tommy asked her if she was mentally okay, and she said she wasn’t sure, but it felt like her head hurt. Tommy then cleaned up, and everyone headed home.
A week after The Rumors Dispute, Tommy helped Summer gather resources to build her own house. She built it on the river near the Badlands because she liked being next to rivers. Tuboo apologized to Summer for everything that had happened. She said she would not forgive him, but that she understood why he did it and they made a truce to not bother each other. Summer was still a little insane, but deep down she was still the lovable and forgiving person she always was. Tommy visited her one day and apologized for destroying the T+S disc. Summer smiled at him and said it was just a disc, and that their friendship was more important than that.
