So you know how right after the Red Festival, when everyone is hanging around Pogtopia and Tommy's mad at Techno for killing Tubbo, Wilbur keeps trying to make everyone get angry and fight "for content"?

Well if it's content, it's for us, the viewers and chat, but chat in-universe can be a lot of things. Only one creator is well-known for having a violent chat that makes him do things, and that's Techno. We call his chat the Voices.

So perhaps, we can assume that Wilbur has HIS OWN Voices, but they aren't bloodthirsty (or not as much,) they're just sadistic, and that is arguably a lot worse. Whether or not they contributed to his downfall into obsession and insanity is a different matter.

• in my own headcanon, pre-canon wilbur was never really the incredible father most have him as being. got progressively worse, but especially started to spiral once sally left

• especially after sally left, wilbur liked inviting people to their house. fundy.. did not like his "friends" for a multitude of reasons.

• when fundy said sally was a lawyer, that stemmed from an ongoing joke the two had from one time they played criminal. as he grew up, he forgot that it was just a joke and genuinely believed that she was a lawyer

• sally had several nicknames for fundy, including "my little vixen." when fundy came out, she switched it to "my little devos"

• speaking of fundy coming out, he basically just went "mom dad i think i'm a boy" and BAM the world's most supportive parents were born

• fundy's hat was a gift from sally, whilst the jacket was hers

summary: just two things i posted on tumblr a lil bit ago: my thoughts on the canon dsmp timeline/minecraft world and c!salmonduo rant from august because i promised c!salmonduo ages ago

because i'm back in my ninjago phase and don't feel motivated to make new dsmp content rn, take some dsmp shit i only posted to tumblr:

1. everyone is fr sleeping on the canon dsmp timeline and the canon dsmp world being.. well canon

an isolated society running extremely fast-paced due to its separation from the outside world, with events that would typically take years irl only taking mere weeks? the idea of respawning and killing mobs? experience gaining and crafting and building and inventories? going back to the whole isolated society thing, how having such low numbers translates to what's considered large-scale operations being pathetically small in comparison to those we're familiar with?

the different directions you can take it is actually super cool (never knowing if the life you just lost is canon or not, being able to summon items in and out of your hands as an accepted part of reality, etc. list of possibilities are endless) and i wish more people took the time to write about them

2. something about c!wilbur never truly acknowledging that c!fundy was part of l'manberg. something about fundy not being in the national anthem. something about how in the revised version, wilbur kept eret's name in instead of just switching it with fundy's. something about how wilbur told phil that the crosses on the flag represented the founders. something about there only being three crosses. something about fundy (even if it was jokingly) insisting that wilbur made it with him in mind. something about the fine line between ignorance and denial.

i'm such a loser on tumblr guys but like in the best way, i'm a loser on here too but not in the cool way i'm just a loser

hope i've contributed enough to last until i get motivation back (which WILL happen, just not feeling the c!fundy soul inside my body right this minute)

just rewatching the schlatt death scene and realizing a. that it was mostly schlatt and fundy centric and b. that wilbur was so chill with his son getting beaten with a (broken) glass bottle but stepped in when schlatt did the whole "i'm something you're not i'm a man" thing.

"i may not care all that much about my son rn but even i support trans rights" - c!wilbur, probably

Out of all the epic things that took place during the L’manberg Revolutionary War, it was the mundane that stuck with Fundy even today, the little bits that were engraved into brains rather than books. The lack of care whenever he was injured from his dad compared to the worry and concern Wilbur showed Tommy when he had so much as a scratch, for one. The subtle and not-so-subtle jabs at his position as “the general’s son”, snickers from Tommy when he explained it to Jack. Listening as Wilbur sang the L’Manberg National Anthem for the first time, and the sting when his name didn’t make it in.

Looking back on it, Eret was the only one who really cared about everyone, the only one who bothered to take the time to clean out Fundy’s wounds and bandage him up, the only one who’d look him in the eyes and ask if he was doing alright.

But they left. Just like everyone else would soon enough.

aaand yeah! there's actually something in here that's technically foreshadowing for a later scene in another chapter, two things if you squint.

- missed messages, potential fanfic, not really all that worked on save for a few lines, focuses on c!salmonduo kind of

Punz is a mercenary with a simple goal: kill the crown prince of Esempi. Tubbo is a kid who just wants to survive. Sometimes that includes joining a gang of criminals. When some guy named Ranboo approaches with intent to join their not-so-merry band, Tubbo can’t help but feel that there’s something off with them. Sadly, nobody but Fundy agrees, and he’s sidetracked. Oh, well. Looks like it’s up to him to figure out this guy.

Fundy is a prince running from his past. When whispers of the adoption and approaching coronation of soon-to-be Prince Tommy reach his ears, he can’t help but feel a little slighted. To be replaced by his father (and he uses that term generously) is one thing. To publicly denounce Fundy in the same breath? That’s a bit too far. When Lord Eret offers their hand, promising revenge.. Well, who’s Fundy to deny?

None of them expected to potentially gain a new member of their found family along the way, but the universe works in mysterious ways.

but personally I like everyone on the dream smp not being friends and having their own lives. Its very human to just grow apart especially after technos death. I feel like its better this way, everyone feels happier imo. Toms doing tours, lovejoy at Coachella qsmp like everyone is just doing better than they ever have. I like the fandom being split and having sides idk it feels more realistic. I like that.
