Am I still allowed to make fanfics with Wilbur as a character, and if so can I still make his character a protagonist/good supporting character despite his real life self seeming the exact opposite? I’ve always been a firm believer in the “Cs vs CCs” train of thought and I want to keep writing stories with his SMP character and the version I’ve developed during my time in the fandom. However despite knowing next to nothing about the current drama I do know that the things he is being accused of are absolutely unacceptable. I just have so many story ideas I want to pursue but I also don’t want to come across as disrespectful to those who have clearly been hurt by him. I’m terrible with these sorts of situations, so I figured I’d ask what you guys thought.

I am aware of his confession now, I just unsubbed and am going to move the videos of his I still enjoy to a separate (and private) playlist so I don’t have them visible on my YouTube page.

I feel really bad cause he has several videos that I still find funny and even though I know I shouldn’t watch him I can’t help but do so, especially with how new all this information is. I want to wait a little for things to play out before I unsub from him in case there’s anything we don’t know but seeing how bad it looks I have a funny feeling that’s where I’ll end up, and even then I’ll most likely just pretend that it’s his character in the videos and not him
God, why do such funny creators have to be such bad people off camera?
