Ghostbur is not the kind of person we think he is. The world thinks of ghost wilbur as a happy form of him, an endless supply of clear blue, the old slimesicle. I’m here to say that thats far from the truth. Ghostbur- in his kinda life, was shielded from things while being an outcast for the actions he made and he was hurt by the things he was said to have done. People have told him about all the things he did wrong and dumped what Wil has done onto him.

Its like all the happy memories of Wilbur living on, and trying to be happy, picking up the pieces of what he did afterward. And its worse for him. Knowing that he will forever have to pay even though none of it was his choice to make. He has all of the stares and comments about what he did and how he left his family, while knowing it was never up to him, but he would always carry that burden.

And died.’ the thing is, it was never Ghostbur. the ghost never did anything. He's used as a therapist of sorts for people to heal wounds, who knew that they have a toll?

Let's move on to Blue. For any who don’t know, Blue is a substance from Friend (his beloved sheep rip) that is said to make people not sad. Roughly quoting him, ‘you get it as its clear and you get it and it sucks all the sadness and I have it back blue. ‘ not questioning if it works, but why do you get it already blue? Is it a game border? Surely not, they made coded ranboo new powers, surly they can change the color of a block? Then maybe, Ghostbur is sadder than he is ever willing to let on.

He tries to appear happy and foolish, but under that facade, he thinks that its all his fault, and he did do the things wilbur did in his life and its his fault. To quote KurKarl, expert in dream smp essays and theories states that’ hes’ a shell of a man afraid of his past and the present.’

Alive Wilbur also gave blue out the day of his death, so maybe Ghostbur remembers more, than we thought possible.

To quote out of character WIlbur Soot on reddit- Just a reminder that as you’ve spent the past few months living a life of ups and downs, Ghostbur has spent 6 years in total misery, waiting at the train station wondering why the dot matrix display (which shows what people on the main land are saying about him) is getting more and more sparse with communication.

The last sentence Ghostbur saw on that board was “who’s Ghostbur?” Said by an unfamiliar name he’s never met before.

This should have caused him to break even more but sadly Ghostbur is already as far numb as he can possibly be. Maybe it’s for the best that everyone forgets him anyway. He only had two jobs after all and he blew them. L’Manburg is gone and Dream is still alive and in prison.

He heard through the display that Friend was killed too. Just another thing he was supposed to protect, another thing that gave his existence meaning, gone due to his negligence.

Hopefully Phil lied about friend having infinite lives… then they can meet again.

Friend isn’t here.

He curls up on the concrete for his 2,301st night on the platform. Falls asleep.

In the time it took me to read that, another 2 hours have gone by in his hell of a thing to call a life.

He lost the things he spent months building, his reputation, status, forgiveness.

He was in the end thrown aside a pawn. An easy sacrifice. Wilbur took his place. Like nothing. Had ever. Happened. He threw aside Friend. Used Ranboo. It must hurt Ghosbur so much to know that in history, all he was was a blip overshadowed even at death, by Aliveburs return.
