Kivalon blinked, her body throbbing in agony. Where was she? What had happened. One moment, she’d been fighting with Reaper and Enforcer and now…
She went to sit up and her body ached, her left leg and right wing screaming in pain. She let out a hiss and laid back. Both were trapped.
An explosion.
That was the last thing that happened, she remembered. Her head hurt too much to think straight and she put her free hand, that wasn’t holding her side, to run through her hair. “Fuck…” She cursed. “Now what…”
She looked to her left and saw that her leg was under concrete. She went to move it but found that 1 she couldn’t as 2 it hurt too much. She looked right and realised that her wing was merely broken and only the tips of the end feathers were actually trapped. She groaned and shoved the stuff off, wincing as she did so. She reached up, touching near her ear. “I need help….. Trapped….” Black dots spotted her vision. “Need…. Need…” Her words slurred and she blinked, body aching. “Can you hear me….? Please…. I need you…” She whispered. “I….” Her breathing slowed and she closed her eyes, fighting to stay awake. “Len… Please answer me….” She whispered before her hand fell from her earpiece, her consciousness fading.

Len struggled against Enforcer. “Let me go back in there!” He yelled.
“No, Watcher. No. It's a death sentence.”
“If she dies and I did nothing, then you'll find me with my swords in me and a gunshot wound to my head.” He hissed and shoved Enforcer away, heading back to building that was half down and going to the edge of the rubble. Suddenly, his earpiece crackled to life.
“I need help…. Trapped…”
Len went to respond but the earpiece sparked and he winced before pulling at the rubble. “I'm coming, he whispered. “I'm coming.” He kept going, pausing for only a moment when her voice died away and silence remained in his ear. The silence deafened him and it, admittedly, scared him. He was scared he'd be too late. And so he shoved the rubble away more viciously. And finally he found her. He stopped and jumped down into the area with her, patting her cheeks. “Kiva. Kiv, open your eyes. Come on.” He took out a device, flicking it on. The screen blinded him for a moment before it was clear. Vitals were dropping to dangerous levels. Broken leg, wing was broken in multiple places. Two broken ribs. He pushed the concrete off of her and picked her up, going out.
Enforcer looked up. “Shit. Is she…”
“Alive. She needs a hospital though.”
Enforcer nodded and touched his own earpiece. “Find The Hunt and The Arrow. Now!”
A muffled voice was heard.
“I don't care, just get them-”
A floating car came down and The Arrow opened the door. “Holy… Hunt, your gonna need to make this go as fast as you can.” She said, looking back at her brother. He gave a single nod.
Len stepped in, holding Kivalon close. “Just hold on.” He whispered as the car started moving.
“You just hold on.”
