RealBenex, also known as Benex, is a friend of the Dream Team. He is a German YouTuber and Twitch streamer. He is known for speedrunning in Minecraft.

Meeting the Dream Team
Benex first met Dream when he was still doing speedrunning during early 2020. Benex eventually met and talk to George and Sapnap when they were in a team with Punz as well in a Twitch Rivals Minecraft Bingo Challenge on August 31, 2020.[1][2]

- He was on a team of four with GeorgeNotFound, Punz, and Sapnap in two Twitch Rivals events, both the GlitchCon Pre-Party and the Minecraft Bingo Challenge. Both times they finished in 4th place as a team.[3] The team split prize of $12,500 and $10,000 respectively. Each got $3,125 and $2,500 respectively.
- Even after about 4 years, Sapnap is still in touch and has streamed with Benex in 2024. They were in the Twitch Rivals: House of Nightmares and are part of the SS SMP run by both Sylvee and Awesamdude.[4] [5] Benex would later this year be invited to participate in a Hide & Seek challenge in Dream's video called 20 YouTubers VS Titan (In My Real Life House).
- Benex did the German voice of Awesamdude in Dream's video called "This Minecraft Mod Will Change The World...".
