Corpse Husband is an American musician and YouTuber known for his Among Us and story-telling videos.

SMP visits[]

First visit[]

On December 15, 2020, Corpse visited the Dream SMP after being invited by Karl Jacobs.[3] Corpse was given a tour by Karl, and many other members greeted him during the tour.

Corpse had previously never played Minecraft before, leaving Karl to teach him some basic game mechanics such as sprinting and fighting mobs during his visit.

Prior to joining the SMP, Karl had taught Corpse the process of installing a custom skin. However, Corpse kept the skin he was using a secret. Upon joining the server, Karl was shocked at the skin, and Corpse clarified that it was Bingus with a Hooters outfit.[4]

Karl's tour[]

Corpse was given Karl's tour of the Dream SMP. Karl showed many landmarks of Dream SMP and L'Manberg such as Eret's Castle, Church Prime, Tubbo's Old House, and Tommy's House. Karl also showed Party Island and Party Park, tricking Corpse into posing for a picture inside the heart above the kissing booth and giving consent in the kissing booth. During this tour, Eret gave Corpse baked potatoes, and LazarBeam logged in shortly to try to appeal to Corpse by typing out the lyrics to Corpse's song in chat.

When Karl gave Corpse a tour of Boomerville, Karl messed with LazarBeam by killing his cows and stealing items. This prompted Lazar to enter voice chat, where he expressed his annoyance with Karl and had a friendly conversation with Corpse. Lazar tried to recruit Corpse to join Boomerville and sacrifice Karl to the lava pool in the Boomerville Church.[4]

El Rapids & house building[]

After showing Boomerville to Corpse, Karl continued the tour by showing El Rapids. There, he invited Niki, Sapnap, and Quackity into the call. Quackity, Sapnap, and Karl tricked Corpse into joining El Rapids, making him take the Bite of Truth. Mexican Dream shortly returned from the dead to orchestrate the initiation.

After the tour and initiation, Karl showed Corpse his Haunted Mansion and suggested that Corpse build his house between the Haunted Mansion and El Rapids. Together, the members worked on a log cabin. Eret also joined to help build, and the two spoke in the same voice chat for the first time.[4]

Singing competition[]

Karl originally told Corpse that he was going to build a house on Dream SMP. However, he, along with Sapnap and Quackity, secretly planned to also build a stage and host a singing competition next door to it. Corpse was given the role of the judge, and Quackity, Karl, Sapnap, and Niki competed against each other. In the end, Corpse crowned Niki as the winner, Quackity as runner-up, Karl as third place, and Sapnap as the last place.[4]

Other appearances[]

Although it was believed that Corpse wouldn't log onto the server for a while after his first visit, the $100k gift card challenge by MrBeast saw the return of Corpse. Corpse popped through different VCs attempting to help and even logged onto the server himself to look for the gift cards.[5] He logged when Karl toured Lil Nas X and also took part in a couple of the Tales from the SMP episodes, being The Village That Went Mad and The Wild West (as original characters).[6]

Second visit[]

On November 25, 2021, Corpse visited the SMP again with Tina. During the visit, he started roleplaying and hung out with her.[7]
