The Egg conflict was a conflict between BadBoyHalo, Eryn, Ponk, Seapeekay, Hannahxxrose, Antfrost, and Awesamdude. This conflict regards the Egg, and Bad, Eryn, and Ponk were accusing Hannah, Ant, and Sam of trapping CaptainPuffy in the Egg room, and vice versa.
History[]
Puffy's birthday party[]
On October 23, 2022, CaptainPuffy was heading to her house to gather supplies for her birthday party. When she got to her house, she noticed multiple Blood Vines filling up her house. Bewildered and not wanting to disturb Sam, Puffy decided to investigate the vines by herself. She noticed a tunnel going into her house from above. When she went into the tunnel, she was mysteriously hit into a hole which led to the new Egg room, which, of course, contained the Egg. She was confused, as she thought that they already destroyed the Egg. Trapped in the room with the Egg and no means of escape, Puffy blacked out.[1]
Meanwhile, BadBoyHalo, Awesamdude, Eryn, Seapeekay, Ponk, Hannah, and Ant were at the museum, waiting for Puffy to arrive so they could celebrate. After waiting for minutes, Bad and Ponk decided to go to Puffy's house to look for her. Minutes later, they came back, frantically warning the others of the vines that were in Puffy's house. The rest of them were hesitant to believe Bad and Ponk, but they went along. When they got to Puffy's, the group saw the vines scattered throughout. After a lot of panicking, Bad explained that some of them had to go to the Egg to investigate and the rest of them had to stay at Puffy's to look for clues. Hannah, Sam, and Ant decided to go to the Egg, while Bad, Ponk, Eryn, and Seapeekay stayed at Puffy's.[2][3][4][5]

Sam's group[]
Sam led his group to the Egg room and Sam Bucket's area. When they got to the spot in which the Egg used to be, they noticed that an empty bottle of apple juice was left on the floor. That led them to believe that Bad went down in the Egg room. Sam proceeded to lead the group throughout the ruins of Sam Bucket's house. When they got to the actual house, they read through Sam Bucket's journal entries, which were random gibberish. Outside of the house, they found stained bandages on the floor, which they suspected Ponk of. They then realized that Ponk had his arm back. Panicked, the three quickly left to grab items to barricade the entrance to the Egg room.[6][7][8]
Bad's group[]
Bad's group walked around Puffy's base and called out for Puffy in hopes that she would respond. While searching for clues, Ponk discovered Ant's weednip on the floor and alerted the other three. After some more searching, the four found Hannah's roses on the floor. They started suspecting that Ant and Hannah were involved with Puffy's disappearance. Bad then noticed the tunnel and scaffolded up to explore. The other three followed Bad up, and together, the four found weednip and an enchanted diamond pickaxe. Bad deduced that someone had mined a tunnel to the Egg's new room and told the others not to go further. Suspecting that Ant had mined the tunnel with Hannah's help under the Egg's control, the four started heading to the spider XP farm to investigate the original Egg room.[9]
Confrontations[]
The two groups then ran into each other in the tunnel leading to the Egg's room. They walked into the spider spawner room, which was where Bad said that he found a tunnel above Puffy's house. He then revealed that they had found some weednip in Puffy's house, right next to a pickaxe inside of the tunnel. Antfrost denied these allegations, and Sam revealed the apple juice container to Bad. Bad said that he had been in the Egg room recently, to the others' surprise. Ponk revealed that he found some roses in Puffy's house as well and accused Hannah. This was when Sam and Antfrost showed Ponk the stained bandages that they found and confronted him about his regrown arm. Ponk then showed Sam a piece of Fran's collar that he found by the tunnel. Sam seemed worried about this, and he quickly left the room to check on Fran. They continued to argue about the Egg and the evidence, and Bad kept insisting to go down into the Egg room and look.[10][11][12][13]
Eventually, Hannah and Ant forced everyone else to leave. Alone, the two chatted about the evidence against them, denying that they were involved and agreeing that the others were suspicious. The two decided to gear up and stop the others from entering the Egg room. The two then separated, with Ant going to look for Sam and Hannah going to gear up.[14][15] While Ant and Hannah were chatting, Bad, Eryn, Ponk, and Seapeekay met up outside to discuss the events. Seapeekay pointed out that both sides had evidence that incriminated them, but the other three were set on the idea that Hannah, Sam, and Ant planted the evidence as a false flag. The three agreed that the only option was opening up the Egg room, but Seapeekay remained unconvinced and broke off from the three, unsure of what to do.[16]
After concluding the meeting with Hannah, Ant found Sam. Sam frantically said that Fran was gone, and Ant calmed Sam down and explained what happened after Sam left to check on Fran. Then, Seapeekay made the decision to join Ant, Hannah, and Sam. Seapeekay joined Ant and Sam's conversation, telling them that he didn't want Bad, Ponk, and Eryn to go to the Egg. Seapeekay added that they were still his friends, and Sam proposed that Seapeekay be a double agent for them. Seapeekay agreed, and the three separated to prepare.[17][18][19]
Preparation and battle[]
On October 29, 2022, BadBoyHalo woke up and starting gearing up for the battle. He arrived at the community house, in which Ponk and Eryn were at. Callahan was there as well to "hold down the fort." Meanwhile, Sam went to meet up with Hannah, Antfrost, and Seapeekay to discuss their plans.[20]
The two sides encountered each other at the spider XP farm entrance. There, they argued with each other until Ponk presented his side with an idea to distract them. Ponk approached Sam's side and pretended to help them. While Sam's side had their guard down, Ponk struck the four with his axe, allowing Bad and Eryn to enter. Ant, Hannah, and Seapeekay followed the two in.[21]
Revenge[]
While the five made their way into the spider XP farm, Ponk and Sam remained on the surface. As Sam attempted to enter the farm, Ponk struck at him and caught his attention. Ponk told Sam that he had Fran and ordered Sam to drop his armor. Sam complied, allowing Ponk to take revenge for Sam's actions towards him and corner Sam to the bank.[22] Sam apologized and plead for Ponk to release Fran, but Ponk refused. Ponk, describing how Sam treated Fran, told Sam that he locked the ones close to him in a box and hurt them. Sam denied that he was hurting Fran by doing so and began showing signs of weakness from Ponk's attacks. As Ponk began threatening the torture and eventual killing of both Sam and Fran, Sam tripped a hidden trap of the bank, blowing up Ponk while teleporting him to safety in his base. Sam attempted to start his mission to rescue Fran, but died on the floor of his base.[23]
Confrontation at The Egg[]
Bad and Eryn managed to delay Ant, Hannah, and Seapeekay as they made their way into the banquet room, where Eryn asked about The Egg's new location and breakability.[24] They made their way down Sam Bucket's tunnels to Sam Bucket's house. There, they found that the iron block containment of The Egg's room was breached and entered the room with iron helmets. Upon entering, they found The Egg and Puffy suspended in a cage above it.[25]
Ant, Hannah, and Seapeekay eventually caught up. Hannah and Ant blamed the two of working with The Egg, and Bad defended his side while blaming Hannah and Ant's side of the same. Eventually, Seapeekay interjected in the argument, stating that the fighting was ridiculous since both sides cared about Puffy. He defended Bad and Eryn, stating that they both were nice to him since he first joined and that they both warned him about The Egg. Nonetheless, Hannah and Ant remained firm on their belief that Bad and Eryn were working with The Egg. Eventually, Ant got tired of the back and forth, leading him to striking at Seapeekay and killing him.[26]
Bad immediately acted in retaliation for Seapeekay and attacked Ant. This escalated the conflict into a battle between Bad and Ant, and Eryn and Hannah. While battling, Bad questioned Ant about his motive for killing Seapeekay. Ant voiced his distrust of Seapeekay, explaining that he couldn't even trust his close friend Bad. Bad attempted to defend himself by mentioning Sam Bucket, but Ant refused to believe it, stating that Sam Bucket was a figment of his imagination. Ant added that he couldn't take any risks and trust Bad because of the Red Banquet. The two, failing to reach an agreement, fought each other. At the same time, Hannah explained to Eryn that Tommy was against The Egg and that Bad was lying to him, also mentioning Bad's past actions working to spread the influence of The Egg. Eryn refused to let Hannah bring Tommy into the conversation and didn't believe that Bad was lying to him. He explained that Bad had changed since the Red Banquet. Hannah eventually offered for the two sides to meet up peacefully and talk it out. With Eryn's guard down, Hannah took the opportunity to strike at Eryn. However, before Hannah could kill him, Bad struck at her and hit her into the lava, killing her and revealing that he had managed to kill Ant.[27]
With their opponents gone, Bad and Eryn focused on saving Puffy. Before going forward with their plan, however, Eryn suggested that they ask The Egg about his parents. Bad explained that The Egg was pure evil and would lie to get what it wanted. Eryn expressed his desperation to find out what happened to his parents, leading to Bad promising to help him find his parents after rescuing Puffy.[28]
Moments after Bad confirmed his promise to Eryn, Puffy struck at Eryn, pushing him into the lava and killing him. The Egg then revealed itself to Bad through Puffy, explaining that the infighting and deaths gave it enough power to rise. The Egg explained that Skeppy was working with it the entire time as a desperate attempt to save Bad. The Egg exerted its power over Bad, telling him that he was his servant and torturing him.[29]
