Eryn is the thirty fifth member of the Dream SMP who joined on October 22, 2021.
Eryn was born to a demon mother and human father, who went missing after a attack on their village by a gang of Piglins. Eryn later befriended a young Tommy, the two becoming childhood friends. Eryn attempted to help Tommy by building a shrine to Dream (not understanding Tommy's relationship with Dream) and became involved in the Egg conflict, where he lost his first canon life.
Physiology[]
Eryn appears as a human/demon hybrid with dark skin and dark brown hair. He has heterochromia, with one of their eyes being red and the other a grayish color. He wears an all-black outfit with a hood and a black headband. He has blood staining one of his arms from tearing out someone's heart.[5]
Personality[]
Eryn is a violent and chaotic individual. He has threatened to kill people and their pets,[6][7] and destroyed buildings.[8] Based on what he stated about Dream, he believes that violence and murder are fine.[9] In contrast to this, he was against Dream escaping prison.
He misunderstands what's good for others, as he believes that getting Tommy thrown back into prison would give Tommy a purpose again.[10] Despite this, he can still recognize when a situation is for better or worse. He stood alongside the guards against Dream and chased the escapees until they arrived at the Nether portal. However, Eryn allowed Niki to escape, presumably because she did not directly assist in the prison break-in and only spawned the withers after the escape party exited Pandora's Vault.
Eryn has little respect for "sacred" locations or objects, saying he has no issue with desecrating the Holy Land due to being atheist. He used this to justify stealing the Prime Bell for his Dream shrine.[11]
Eryn seems to have trouble speaking about serious things, as he stumbled on his words while trying to explain where the prison escapees went. He was mistaken for lying when he just had trouble talking, though Sapnap came to his defense.
History[]
Empowerment Arc[]
On his first day of the SMP, he was greeted by Tommy, who provided Eryn with some resources, introduced Eryn to other members, and helped build a house. After speaking with Tommy, Eryn spent the rest of the stream and his first few days searching for resources. Eryn's first few days also involved a bit of violence and chaos. He mentioned killing Michael multiple times,[6] jokingly threatened Fran,[7] and bombed the Cat Maid Café.[8]
Eryn tried to convince Sam to let Dream out of prison, saying that "he's learned his lesson" and that he "just killed some people or something."[9]
On November 15, 2021, Eryn began to construct a shrine to Dream under Tommy's base.[12] His goal was to make it look like Tommy built it so that Tommy would be thrown into prison again, which he believed would give Tommy a purpose in life again.[10] It was later discovered on December 4 by Tommy after falling in a trap Dream made for him.[13]

Jailbreak[]

On November 28, 2021, The Syndicate broke Dream out from the prison. During this, Eryn along with Michael, Punz and Sapnap were outside McPuffy's when Niki arrived and asked about the sirens. Having heard no sirens, the group brought her along to a robbery of McPuffy's although Eryn was suspicious of her behaviour.
Sam alerted Eryn and the others of the situation and brought them to the area outside the prison. Eryn began interrogating a panicking Niki, but was interrupted by Tommy. After Eryn mentioned how he'd never actually met Dream, Tommy gave a speech about everything Dream had done to him. Despite having doubts on whether Dream was a bad guy, Eryn stayed with Sapnap after Tommy ran from the scene.
When the escape party exited the prison and fighting began, Eryn joined Sam's side in the battle. The battle led to a chase through the Nether, and as the chase ensued, Eryn's ignorance of the situation caused him to block Sapnap from reaching Dream. This gave Dream, Technoblade, and Philza time to escape. He was then alerted to Niki also trying to escape through the Nether and chased after her, eventually cornering her by a portal to Logstedshire, but he then secretly allowed her to escape. Eryn's stuttering and complicated explanation caused the others to severely mistrust him until Sapnap came to his defense.

Origins of Eryn[]
Eryn walks around. He eventually walks up to his house, entering. He quickly opens the door to kill the creeper that prevented sleep, before once again shutting the door, laying in bed and sleeping.
The screen proceeds to say ‘20 Years Earlier’.
A man is seen travelling through the nether. He comes across what seems like a female demon. They interact, but due to the gold helmet the human is wearing, the piglins attack them, and the male defends the two, eventually succeeding. The two seem to kiss, before carrying on walking through the nether. They eventually reach a portal to the overworld. They walk through it. The demon gifts the human a rose, which he accepts.
The screen fades to black, then a new scene is shown. Eryn can be seen, mounting a horse. He rides for a while, eventually stopping near a house. He ties his horse to a fence before knocking. The person who opens the door is none other than TommyInnit. They hang out, seeming to be chatting, before doing some archery with bow and arrows, as well as target blocks. Afterwards, they walk to the edge of the spruce forest, where the ocean lays. They start swimming, but Eryn just sinks; he doesn’t know how to swim. Tommy, over the space of what seems to be an hour at the most, teaches Eryn how to swim. After this, they get into a boat together and sail across the ocean, simply for fun. They continue to sail through the night, before eventually going back to land. They kill a creeper before presumably going to sleep.
When Eryn wakes up, he exits the house and gazes out to the vast sea. He then heads back to where he had tied his horse a day or two ago. He unties it, getting on it, before riding off. He rides through many biomes in order to head home. When the moon is high in the sky once more, he stops to rest. After some time he continues his journey home.
However, when he arrives at where his house once was, he was merely met with lots of flame and pigmen. The pigmen had gotten revenge on Eryn’s parents for that time where Eryn’s father had killed their kind - and they had done so by burning their house, along with Eryn’s parents. Eryn, in grief for his parents, slaughtered every pigman he could catch up to.
But then he woke up in his nether-like house. He looked around, confused by what was, in the end, only a dream. Eryn then exits his house, noting how something feels strangely off. He enters the nether, walking through the dimension to another portal, which he enters quickly. Upon exiting the nether, he encounters BadBoyHalo. He seems to greet him, before jumping off the ledge he was by, pulling off a quick water bucket MLG as to not take any damage. He passes through the community house. The atmosphere is quite strange. Eryn notices, as he walks down the path, how everything seems so dead. He thought the Dream SMP was a happy place, but as he walks further down the path, he can hear strange voices, and feel death.
The more he walks, the closer to the death he says he feels. Eryn wonders what went wrong; what was different. He knew nobody on the server. He eventually walks down the hole where L’Manberg once was, mining a little. Then things flash, and he ends up underwater. As he floats back up, his surroundings are different, yet the same place. Eryn questions whether what he had heard was real, or merely a figure of his imagination. He says there’s only one way to tell. He notes that things were so ominous, yet now so peaceful. Eryn notes how so many people had been betrayed; turned on by those they had so dearly trusted. He just wanted friends.
Denouement Era[]
The Egg Returns[]
Eryn arrives at the museum, where CaptainPuffy's birthday party was being held. He lingered near the entrance with his friends for a bit then followed them inside. Once there, Eryn acts as the source of the other guests' annoyance. Eryn was shooed away by Tubbo after he tried getting in his seat, and was also reprimanded for stepping on the table and smelling the cake.
The party was canceled when it was revealed that Puffy was missing, her base choked with vines. Eryn and the others went outside to check. Just as described, the area was completely overgrown. After discussing, the guests proceeded to split up. Eryn stuck with BadBoyHalo's team. After examining the vicinity for clues, they discovered several fallen items suspiciously linked to Antfrost and Hannah. Near the items was a tunnel leading to the Egg.
When the teams all got together, they began pointing fingers at each other. Eryn blamed Ant for mining the tunnel, while Ant accused Ponk and Bad for sneaking near the Egg. Eryn and his team refused to accept the blame. Despite Ant's protests, they declared that they would search the Egg Room for Puffy.

Eryn has been one of the only people Dream has interacted with positively since his escape from Pandora's Vault. Eryn briefly met with Dream at the community house, and despite some initial hesitancy from both individuals, the two ultimately began trading, with Eryn initiating and first offering golden apples and then potions (both of which Dream already had in great supply). Eryn finally offered harming arrows, which Dream accepted, trading Eryn a totem of undying in exchange. Eryn received the totem excitedly, and later commented that Dream seemed cool, and he couldn't see how anyone could not like him. Eryn continues to question the demonization of Dream on the server, and currently seems to view him slightly positively. Then Eryn gets a little history lesson from Eret. Eret basically told him all the villains at the moment and in the past. Even though Eryn still doesn't 100% believe Dream is evil, Eryn still thought about it. After hearing what Dream did to Tommy, Eryn now views him as neutral. |

Niki first met Eryn outside McPuffy's while she was trying to distract the group he was with from the ongoing jailbreak initiated by the Syndicate. She welcomed Eryn to the server and the two exchanged pleasantries. Following this, things turned briefly sour as suspicion of Niki's behavior grew, and the alarms at the prison were confirmed to have been tripped. When Niki was ultimately exposed by Sapnap trying to spawn withers to cover Dream's escape, Eryn would eventually pursue her with the others. However, in a callback to their earlier amiability, Eryn passed up the chance to prevent Niki's escape, allowing her to run right past him in the nether and reach an exit portal. Eryn, partly ignorant of the situation, repeatedly crouched to show his friendly intent, and Niki returned the gesture as she waited to travel through the portal. Recognizing his help in her getting away, Niki is likely currently on positive terms with Eryn. |
