The Estate Conflict was a conflict between Purpled, Ponk, Antfrost, and Jack Manifold, in which Purpled and Ponk attempted to scam Antfrost out of his gingerbread house. This conflict resulted in tension between the two parties.

History[]

The new business[]

As he entered his defaced home on December 15, 2020, Purpled expressed dissatisfaction with the constant mistreatment of his property, citing the constant stealing from his former UFO home and the colonization of his land by El Rapids. Purpled realized that many things changed since he first joined and that he must give others a reason to listen to him. Purpled noted that having the best gear no longer put people on top and that being powerful in the current time meant being a confident speaker. Purpled soon decided to start a real estate business and began searching for a space.[1]

While looking for somewhere to put his business, Purpled spoke poorly of the various businesses lining the Prime Path. Purpled was having difficulties finding a spot in the exact area he wanted due to him believing in the idea that finding a recognizable location was essential. He finally decided that the smartest plan would be to put his business directly on the Prime Path. Purpled eventually decided on the location, choosing the area along the Prime Path between Skeppy's mansion and the former L'Manberg Embassy. He began making the building as low effort as possible since he believed that all of the good looking buildings were left unused on the server.[2]

First encounter[]

After finishing the build with a front desk and a breakout room, he waited for a customer. Antfrost then walked by, curious about the new build. Purpled began questioning Antfrost about his residence, asking where he lived and if he paid for it. Purpled demanded that Ant lead him to the house, and Ant took him to the gingerbread house. There, Purpled claimed his house with signs and said that he'd have to "pay him a whole lot" if he wanted it back. Ponk arrived around this time, joining and backing Purpled by telling Ant that he remembered selling Purpled the deed long ago. Privately, Purpled and Ponk discussed the value of the house. The two agreed on the value of forty-eight iron blocks, stating that the Prime Path made the land prime real estate. The two also gave Ant the option of paying them with his netherite boots instead and demanded that he pay within forty-eight hours.[3]

Help from a friend[]

While Ponk and Purpled discussed their strategy, Jack Manifold arrived. Jack pushed back at the two, challenging their authority to randomly demand for payment over land without negotiation. The two groups then decided to separate to speak amongst themselves. While Purpled and Ponk discussed their next targets whilst adding onto the estate office building, Ant and Jack planned to claim ownership over Purpled and Ponk's properties as a counter. Ready, Jack and Ant walked up to the real estate office to present their arguments. The two began targeting Ponk's Thiccatron, stating that it was in Badlands territory since it was nearby Sam's house. The other duo then went to speak privately in the breakout room. Purpled asked Ponk if Thiccatron had a sign saying it was his, and Ponk said it did not. Purpled then yelled to escape out the breakout room so they could get there first and place the sign claiming ownership. At the same time, Jack and Ant then rushed towards the tree. Ant, Ponk, and Purpled raced to the community Nether portal, while Jack attempted to search for another portal. Ant arrived at the community portal first, allowing him to deactivate it and stall them while Jack navigated the Nether.[4][5]

Territory tensions[]

Shortly after, Purpled devised a plan where the two opposing sides merged businesses. He shared the idea with Ponk, who saw the plan as viable. They then presented the plan to Jack and Ant, who hesitantly agreed. Jack then began traveling to the community portal in the Nether to meet up. When traveled through the community portal to the Overworld however, he created a new portal. Purpled, while pretending to fix the portals, went through the portal with Ponk. Purpled then lied saying that Jack broke the portal as Ponk travelled up the scaffolding to Sam's ice path and placed a boat. The two then left the voice chat and began booking it towards the Thiccatron, leaving the other duo taken aback. With Ant and Jack in pursuit, they rushed through the Nether through the portal leading to Sam's water tunnels. Purpled was completely unfamiliar with the place, so Ponk gave him his boots and told him to rush through the water tunnel to Sam's decoy base, giving him directions. Purpled, however, got stuck a few times and had to stop for air multiple times. Ant quickly caught up to Purpled, while Jack took the ocean route. Purpled and Ant then raced to Thiccatron, where they both placed down signs at a similar time. Ant placed a sign on the stairs, and Purpled placing a sign on the tree. They were at a standstill.[6][7]

A short time after Jack made it to the tree, Jack and Ant realized that Purpled was outnumbered. They then killed him and took his items. Purpled and the other two continued arguing over the signs until Ponk finally made it to the tree. Feeling more confident, Purpled then put up a sign claiming that "Antfrost sucks ass." Ant disputed that claim, and Purpled then placed another sign with the text "at minecraft" next to it, forming "Antfrost sucks ass at minecraft." Antfrost disputed that as well. Purpled then challenged him to a duel to see "who really sucks ass at Minecraft." Jack then pushed for a 2v2 rather than a 1v1, with Ponk jokingly requesting that their cannon lives be put on the line.[8][9]

Duel[]

The rules of the duel were implied but not specifically said. Every person had a wooden sword, iron chestplate, and cooked chicken. It was implied that they were only allowed to use the items provided. While preparing for the duel, however, Ant snuck Jack a Potion of Regeneration and instructed him to only use it if they lose the first fight. They hid the potions in chests so that it wouldn't drop if they lost. After finishing preparations, the two teams finalized the deal - if Purpled and Ponk won, they would get the gingerbread house and a payment of forty-eight iron blocks. If Jack and Ant won, they would keep ownership of the house free of charge. Jack would also not be required to repay Ponk the polar bear.[10][11]

Ponk and Purpled dominated round one. Although their initial strategy was to kill Ant first, Ant and Jack's strategy was to divide their efforts, with Ant taking on Purpled and Jack taking on Ponk. This forced Ponk to switched his target Jack.[12][13]

Shortly before the second round, the two duos privately discussed their strategy. Ant told Jack that he was going to Potion of Strength and to save the Potion of Regeneration. Purpled informed Ponk that he had a Potion of Strength and Splash Potion of Poison as a backup if they lost the next round. They agreed to keep their strategy of charging Ant first. In the second round, Jack provided Ant cover while he drank the Potion of Strength. Ant and Jack quickly defeated Purpled and Ponk.[14][15]

In the intermission, Purpled then specified that "no external armor" be used. Both sides used this clarification to their advantage. Purpled grabbed his netherite axe, bow and arrows, water bucket, ender pearls, shield, and potions. He gave a shield and his netherite sword to Ponk. Ponk grabbed his netherite chestplate. Jack grabbed an iron sword and axe along with his potion. Ant brought his sword and potion. Shortly before the start of the duel, Ponk built a wall to shield him and Purpled. Ponk also switched out his iron chestplate for a netherite one in battle. When confronted about it, he complained that Purpled should’ve used basic English, as he didn’t understand what "external" meant. Ant and Jack lost, but the round was disqualified due to Ponk's usage of external armor. The two sides agreed that the duel ended in a draw.[16][17]

With the duel inconclusive, Purpled proposed both sides keep their land with the caveat that Ant and Jack pay for damages. Jack agreed and asked Ant how many iron blocks he had, and Ant responded that he had none. Jack admitted that he had none, but added that Purpled didn't specify when they had to make the payment by. Purpled responded by saying that it was due immediately, leading to Ant and Jack claiming the Thiccatron under the justification that Ponk cheated. Purpled disagreed, leading to Jack calling it a draw and the four circling around to Purpled's proposal. After Jack shared that he had 54 iron ingots, Purple demanded nine iron blocks. Ant left to grab iron from his base, leading to Purpled threatening to kill Jack. Purpled then grabbed a flint and steel. He then threatened to burn the tree and started counting down from 90. Jack, feeling even more pressured, claimed to not be able to count that high, causing Purpled to lower it to 45. Ant returned as the count ended. However, he could only come up with five ingots.[18][19]

Catching fire[]

As they began arguing more, Jack took Ponk's netherite axe "Bebbles' Might" while Ponk managed to steal Ant's sword and trident and most of Jack's items. After finding out, Purpled was chased by Ant and Jack, barely missing the portal and then proceeding to ender pearl back to the Thiccatron. Purpled suddenly began setting part of the staircase of Thiccatron on fire, thinking that the tree was built by Ant and Jack since they wanted to claim it so bad. Ant and Jack began extinguishing the fire by hand. Purpled then began extinguishing the fire after Ponk claimed that he built it.[20][21]

Meeting after[]

After stopping the fire, Purpled privately spoke with Ponk, letting him know that the damage of the Thiccatron is repairable. He continued by stating that it was necessary to burn it in order to show his power over Ant and Jack.[22]

Later, Ant and Jack planned ahead at Sam's spider XP farm to get back at Purpled and Ponk and reclaim their gingerbread house. Jack accidentally renamed Ponk's axe to "s Mightww," a mistype of "Manifold's Might." He then returned to Manifold Land, where he showed Ant his secret lair. There, he wrote the Document of Manifold Citizenship and handed it to Ant to sign. After signing the contract, Ant was given dual citizenship of Manifold Land and the Badlands.[23]
