Featured Creator Hour: Dream SMP was a panel hosted at VidCon 2022, on June 23, 2022. It took place on the Spotlight Stage Presented by Spotify, and was part of the Community Track, and was thus livestreamed to YouTube.
The website described it as follows: "Come kick it with members of the popular Dream SMP server as they join each other on stage to answer your questions."[1]

The panel took the form of a Q&A hosted by JackManifoldTV,[2] with members of the SMP answering questions both from the crowd and from those watching along at home who used the hashtag #DreamSMPTalks on Twitter.
The panel originally only meant to include TommyInnit, Ranboo, CaptainPuffy, Hannahxxrose, JackManifoldTV, Eret, Ph1LzA, Wilbur Soot and Tubbo. However at the last moment it was decided that all SMP members present at the event, with the sole exception of Nihachu for unknown reasons, would come on stage.

Many of the questions answered involved the Dream SMP lore, especially the behind-scenes process.

Because the introductory portion of the panel took up around 20 minutes of the panel's 1 hour of time allotted, the creators didn't get the chance to answer as many questions as they had hoped. Despite this, both fans and creators found the event enjoyable, praising it on social media.
