George Davidson, better known online as GeorgeNotFound and occasionally Gogy, is a member of the Dream Team, having the second most subscribers out of the three. He has been uploading current YouTube videos publicly since 2019, but has been on the platform since 2013.

George is a co-founder of the Dream SMP, along with Dream.

History

Username

George's original username before he started making videos with Dream was GeorgeeeHD.

The origin of GeorgeNotFound was first explained on his livestream on June 13, 2020. In the stream, he said that Dream came up with the idea; Since he is a coder, the "not found" part came from when websites have a "404 not found" warning. Dream wanted to keep George as a part of his username as well.[3]

Meeting Dream

George and Dream met on MunchyMC, BadBoyHalo's Minecraft server.[4] Dream was an admin and developer, and George was a coder. Their first interaction was when Dream asked George for help on coding a plugin, but after getting ignored, Dream decided to learn how to code it himself, which kickstarted him becoming an even better coder.[5]

Meeting Sapnap

During George's stream on June 22, 2020, when asked how George met Sapnap, he said that he may have met him through a Minecraft server. However, he walked back on the statement to say that Dream most likely introduced the two, as Dream and Sapnap had met first, but he was not entirely sure.[4]

Personal life

Pets

George had a cat named Luca that he got in October 2019 who passed away in July 2020 due to an untreatable heart disease.[6] He didn't publicly release the name of Luca until after his passing. Luca was given the nicknames Cat, Robert, and Baby by fans before Luca's name was revealed.

He now has a dog that he got in August of 2020.[7] Her name has not been released. She is a Hungarian Vizsla.

On October 17, 2020, Dream posted a picture of George’s new kitten, taken a few days previous to the tweet.[8] Their name has not been released as well. George often posts pictures with them, and they've been featured in his Twitch livestreams.

  • George has severe Protan color blindness; a type of red-green color blindness. He confirmed this in a Twitter post on April 16, 2020.[12]
  • George is left-handed, and therefore uses FHGT to control Minecraft instead of WASD (F to go left, H to go right, G to go back, T to go forwards).[13]
  • George was a contestant on Love or Host on September 10, 2020.[14]
  • George doesn't know how to drive and doesn't have a driver license.[15][16]
  • George has been given the nickname Gogy by the Twitter community, and is often referred to this way by fans and creators.
  • George used to collect and re-sell designer sneakers, a common interest with Ponk that helped strengthen their friendship.
  • George has participated in every MC championship since MCC 6 except MCC 15, MCC 20, and MCC 25. He won MCC 11 (with Karl Jacobs, Sapnap and Dream), MCC 12 (with TapL, Wilbur and Philza), and MCC 24 (with Dream, Skeppy, and BadBoyHalo).[17]
    • George, alongside with Dream, Sapnap, and FalseSymmetry, is one of the only players to win two MCC's in a row.[17]
  • George starred in the music video for the song "Taunt" by Lovejoy.
  • His favorite number is fourteen.[18]
  • His favorite flower is a dandelion.[19]
  • His favorite color is blue.[20]
  • While driving to Florida, Sapnap was in a call with George. Upon arriving at Dream's house, Sapnap hung up on George. George considers this memory his least favorite memory with the Dream Team.[21]
  • His zodiac sign is Scorpio.
  • George appeared in BTS' concert in YouTube interactive event ESCAPE2021 alongside Dream and other content creators.[22]
  • George, along with Awesamdude, acknowledged the Dream Team Wiki on February 5, 2022 while discussing the dates of the first time that everyone joined in the Dream SMP.[23]
  • George met Sapnap in person on March 4, 2022. George posted several pictures on Instagram of their meetup.[24]
  • On October 2, 2022, George moved to Orlando, Florida to live with Dream and Sapnap.[25][1] The same day, Dream publicly revealed his face.[26]
    • Unlike Sapnap, who brought his computer setup to Florida, George did not plan to bring his PC setup so that he can use it when traveling back to the UK. Dream also mentioned that PowerGPU sponsored PCs for George, Dream, traveling, and the guest rooms.[27]
    • On September 18, 2022, George revealed on his Instagram and Twitter that he got his visa.[28][29] Shortly after, Dream revealed his face to George.[1]
