Hannahxxrose, also known as Hannah, is the thirty second member on the Dream SMP. She joined just over a week after the Doomsday War, on January 18, 2021. She lost her first canon life to BadBoyHalo.
Physiology[]
Appearance[]
Hannah is a fairy with light skin, long brown hair, and green eyes. She wears a pink sweater and skirt, white boots with roses on them, and a flower crown made of roses. One of her arms is also covered with a rose vine.
When leeched, her shirt and skirt are all white and the roses drained of red.
As the bank manager, she has a business skin in which her hair is shorter and roses slightly larger and shifted around. She also wears a deep red suit trousers and buttoned-up red shirt.
Biology[]
Hannah's species has been confirmed to be a fairy.[1] She is connected to the nature, which ties very closely to her life force.[5] The strength of the connection was demonstrated when Hannah began feeling sick after the blood vines leeched her roses.[6]
Hannah, the content creator, has also stated that her character "grows stronger with the roses surrounding her house, and can even control the environment around her to an extent."[7]
Personality[]
Hannah is a kind, cheerful, and helpful individual who spends much of her time on the SMP cleaning up messes and decorating areas. She is an excellent builder and decorator, having cleaned up and decorated multiple public places on the SMP such as the tree farm and spawn. She has also gifted her roses to multiple people on the server.
However, when faced with conflict, she does not hesitate to intervene and take action. She is very unlike some on the server, who are hesitant or avoidant of the conflicts around them to some extent and do not want to cause more damage. Hannah will readily take extreme actions in the name of solving problems and keeping peace--such as when she killed her dogs so that they would not suffer and succumb to the influence of the Egg.[8] She also displays this trait when she went against her former friends during the Egg lore finale.
History[]
Retribution Arc[]
Hannah joined the server and was shown around the server by both Purpled and CaptainPuffy. Puffy welcomed her into the server with some netherite tools and unenchanted diamond armor, and Hannah thanked her by giving her a rose.[9][10] With Foolish's aid, Hannah built her home behind a spider spawner and named it the "Rose Residence." She thanked Foolish by giving him a rose as well as some yeezys (diamond boots).[11]
Empowerment Arc[]

For the first few months on the server, Hannah wasn't involved in any conflicts. She built a path to the Rose Residence and gave all of the members a rose. She also went mining in the nether a lot and managed to get hold of a lot of netherite. Additionally, Hannah interacted with a lot of people and made friends with them. Hannah spent a lot of her time harvesting wither roses and planting them around the Rose Residence. She also started a wheat farm and used the products to create an entire field of cakes for everyone.
Failed bargaining[]
While Hannah was mining for diamonds on January 26, 2021, Ponk messaged her telling her that she would be mugged. Not wanting to be mugged, Hannah asked for a deal. Ponk said that because they were friends, she could give him ten gold blocks in return for him never trying to mug her. Hannah agreed and went mining for gold, but only came up with seven, causing Ponk to try and kill her. Hannah said she would give him nine more to keep the deal, and Ponk gave her an item frame telling her to put it up. Hannah placed the picture to find it was a picture of Steve Harvey.[12]
The next morning, Hannah woke up to find a ladder up the side of her house and an attic at the top. The attic was covered in pictures of the Kanye picture and one picture on the floor of her house taken from a bird's eye view. Her blast furnaces had also been stolen.[13] Ponk arrived at her house for the gold, but Hannah didn't have it yet so she hid in the attic. Ponk tried to break into her house through the ground, but she dropped lava on top of him. Ponk left, vowing revenge. Hannah returned to her house after mining for a little while to discover her entire house had been filled with dirt by Ponk. Hannah then went to nether to get the gold, but the portal was blown up by Ponk.[14][15]

Around March 9, 2021, Hannah noticed that her health had been steadily decreasing while she was on a trip picking roses and planting trees around 10,000 away blocks from her house. Hannah described that she felt dizzy and sick, and that something was pulling her back to her house. Upon arriving at her house, she noticed blood vines growing on her house and found that the roses near her house had vanished. She concluded that the vines were pulling her back and damaging her health due to her close relationship with nature and that they had to be destroyed.[6]
Noticing that Sam was nearby cleaning the bank site, Hannah called Sam to discuss the matter. Hannah informed him about how the vines were making her sick and how they consumed the flowers around her house. The two agreed that the vines had to be cleaned up and started the process. However, before Hannah was able to clean the interior, BadBoyHalo and Antfrost showed up and confronted Hannah about the cleaning. Hannah and Sam explained that they were trimming the vines because Hannah was getting a reaction from them. Bad and Ant pushed back at the claim, suggesting that Hannah could be getting an allergic reaction from other things such as bees and that the vines were fine. Hannah and Sam didn't trust them, and after some back-and-forth between the two parties, Bad and Ant suggested that Hannah test the extent of the allergy by visiting the Egg room. After a side-conversation with Sam, Hannah hesitantly decided to visit the room, hoping to fix the vines' effects with roses. Additionally, Hannah worked out a plan with Sam where he could secretly clean the vines while she traveled with Bad and Ant down to the Egg room.[16]
After Sam left the group, the three began making their way towards the room. Bad and Ant decided to look at Hannah's house before leaving, and the two looked around the interior and commented on Hannah's dogs. Seeing that her dogs were deep in the vines, Hannah killed them, stating that she was "putting them out of misery." Shocked, Bad and Ant moved on and lead Hannah to the egg room. Hannah felt worse while in proximity to the Egg, but still went near it. After Hannah was lead to the top of the egg, Bad and Ant asked her if she heard anything. Hannah said that she didn't hear anything and asked the two what they were hearing, also suggesting that the Egg was telling them to kill her. The two denied it, stating that the Egg told them that it liked Hannah and not to kill her. Hannah then agreed to "give it a shot for the day," and Bad and Ant encased her in a box on top of the Egg as exposure therapy. Hannah expressed concerns that they were just trapping her and that she was feeling very sick, but they dismissed it. The two then told her to put her tools and armor in her ender chest, and she complied. Hannah kept her roses with her, thinking that they might be enough to last her the night. After some waiting, she eventually passed out.[17]
The next day, Hannah woke up while being broken out of the box by Sam. Her skin had been completely leached of all color, and she told Sam that the Egg spoke to her in her dreams. They left the Egg room, with Hannah hearing whispers from the Egg multiple times and Sam telling her not to listen to it. When they reached her house, she saw that it was covered in vines and the color had been leeched out of the walls like her skin. All of her roses had vanished again and were replaced with white tulips. Hannah kept getting whispers telling her to kill Sam and leave the vines, but Sam insisted that she block the voice out. She decided to trust Sam, and the two began the process of cleaning the vines again.[18]
While cleaning, the members of the Eggpire discovered that Hannah had escaped and messaged her, asking where she was. She hid in the basement and overheard Sam telling them that he had not seen her since she left with them. While the Eggpire questioned Sam, the Egg ordered Hannah to leave the basement. Hannah followed the orders, but snuck around and stayed hidden from the Eggpire. After the Eggpire went elsewhere to search for her, Hannah approached Sam, angering him. With the Eggpire out of sight, the two continued destroying the vines. While burning the vines with soul fire, Hannah felt pain and said that it hurt her. Sam expressed concern, telling her to go pick roses and warning her not to listen the Egg before leaving.[19] Hannah's skin returned to its normal color at some point later on, but the house still stayed colorless until she fixed it days before the Red Banquet.[20]
Bargaining and the bank[]
On March 29, 2021, Hannah met with Sam again near the community tree farm and showed him the newly-built Cat Maid Café. Sam immediately gave Hannah TNT to use to blow up the Cat Maid Café, but Hannah refused, so Sam placed the TNT himself. Seeing that Sam was adamant about blowing the café up, Hannah began to move the cats out of the café. Sam then stated that he would get consent from HBomb through Twitter and made Hannah promise to support him. After Hannah successfully evacuated the cats out of the café, Sam handed her a flint and steel to light the TNT.[21]
Shortly after Sam dropped the flint and steel, Nihachu came to confront them. Sam framed Hannah for placing the TNT and telling him to set it off. Niki met the two at the café and started removing the TNT, and HBomb later met them at the café to remove the rest of the TNT. Hannah defended herself and claimed that Sam was the one who had placed the TNT and tried to kill the cats. Sam then suggested to Niki and HBomb to blow up Hannah's house, and Hannah panicked. To Hannah's luck, Niki refused to blow anything up. However, HBomb noticed that the "cash register" was missing. Hannah threw it at Sam to frame him, and Sam tried to defend himself. Hannah stated that his bank was on her property and asked for 10% of the bank's profit, and Sam agreed to employ her at his bank. HBomb also offered Hannah a job at the café, and Hannah refused the offer.[22]
After Niki left, Hannah started negotiating her salary with Sam, requesting netherite payment. Sam refused Hannah's request to choose her payment and gave her the role of manager of the bank instead. Hannah agreed to the deal, and HBomb then kicked the two off his property. The three then made their way to Hannah's house, and HBomb placed TNT in the graveyard, warning Hannah that he would blow up her house and kill her pets if she did anything to the café. Sam also told HBomb that he would fire Hannah if she touches the café.[23]
Memory loss[]
On April 17, 2021, Hannah lost her memory and believed that she had just joined the server. Alone, she decided to go on her "first" tour of the server while also taking some items from various chests (including from her own house) to start off on her "first day." After the tour, Hannah decided to start building her first house. While building, she decided to search for more wood. As Hannah searched, she felt a pull towards the spider XP farm. The Egg's whispers became more audible as she got closer to the entrance, telling her that there was more wood down in egg room. Hannah stopped hesitatingly before the room multiple times. Before she was able to enter the room, Sam found her and lead her out.[24]
As Sam led Hannah out of the room, Hannah told Sam that she was about to go to sleep the last time she met him. She insisted that she had just joined and was building her new house, but Sam told her that she had joined a while back and had already built a house. Hannah started regaining her memory from Sam mentioning various things, like the bank, her house, her builds, and her animals (most of which had been either relocated to her basement or disappeared). Hannah told Sam that she had gone to the Egg searching for wood to build her "new" house, saying that her recent experience had felt like a dream.[25]
Sam destroyed her new house with TNT. Hannah protested the idea, saying that her dream told her to build the house and had instructed her to get crimson wood from the Egg room, but didn't attempt to stop Sam. As retaliation, Hannah once hit Sam with a sword. Shortly after the two started cleaning the damage, Sam told her to get rest and that she needed to get her items. While the two walked back to her real house, Sam stated that he would be working on the bank soon and asked Hannah if she could still work as the bank manager. Hannah reassured him and promised to get some rest.[26]
Red Banquet planning[]
Two days before the Red Banquet, Hannah, Puffy, Foolish, and Sam decided to have a meeting to discuss the Red Banquet on top of Cloud Prime. Foolish gave each of them a Rolex, although Sam threw his away because he already had one. Foolish and Puffy compared their suits for the banquet. After exchanging gifts and comparing suits, Foolish mentioned that he was surprised that everyone in the group had accepted the invite and decided to attend the banquet. Puffy and Hannah mentioned that the Eggpire promised free food, and Sam mentioned that the Eggpire told him that they wanted to turn a new leaf. The group then realized that the Eggpire had told everyone the same thing during the invitation, saying that they wanted to "bury the hatchet and turn over a new leaf." The group began becoming suspicious of the Eggpire's sudden change in tone and decided that they couldn't trust the Eggpire. The four decided to hide weapons in the table at the banquet and hide armor in their inventories and to have a codeword ("spruce boat") in case something went wrong.[27]
Hours later, Hannah rebuilt her house with pink wood again, as the color hadn't returned since the blood vines covered it. Bad and Ant came to her house to officially invite her to the Red Banquet, and Hannah expressed skepticism but eventually accepted.[28]
Betrayal[]

Hannah joined the Red Banquet early, spending most of the time chatting and partying. She listened to the speeches and even had hushed words with Puffy. When lava fell and trapped them in, she seemed outraged until Puffy opened the chest where the weapons were hidden and discovered it was empty. Hannah revealed she was a double agent and joined the Eggpire, telling the guest she was "sorry" and that she "didn't have a choice." She revealed that she had taken away the weapons. Hannah seemed the least panicked when Sam TNT trapped the Egg, not screaming like the others and even laughing before their plan was revealed. She agreed with Bad when he offered up Eret for execution because they spoke out against her betrayal and the Egg. Foolish stepped in to save Eret, and Hannah led him up to the sacrificial chamber. Whilst Bad and Puffy argued, Hannah stood in the background quietly chanting "sacrifice." Ant then killed Foolish, and, although a bit taken back, Hannah immediately asked who to kill next.[29]
When Quackity, Technoblade, and Purpled turned up, Hannah stood by the Eggpire and was up for trying to take them on. However, when it was revealed Puffy had an axe and killed Antfrost with it, Hannah immediately started to fight. When they began to retreat, Hannah protested against it, saying they could take them, but was forced to leave. Once the Eggpire left, Bad commanded them all to split up as Purpled chased them.[30] In a short lore explanation, Hannah said that her character was still heavily influenced and infected by the Egg, but also confused - not realizing the consequences and still believing she can run the bank with Sam.
Getting a job at Sam's Bank[]
On November 2, 2021, Hannah arrived at the bank to start her first day as the bank manager. Sam introduced Boomer to Hannah. Boomer stated that Hannah seemed familiar and Hannah agreed, but they both didn't know exactly how they knew each other. Sam said that Boomer would have a higher position than Hannah in the bank because of her betrayal at the Red Banquet. Hannah argued that it was just one bad thing and thought that she had fixed problems with this strategy before, but Sam said that he told her to not go down there. Sam eventually asked Boomer for his opinion, and after speaking to his hat, Boomer said that Hannah seemed trustworthy. Sam eventually agreed to employ Hannah as the bank's manager, but warned that he would kill her if she stepped out of line again.[31]
Jailbreak[]

On the day of the jailbreak, Hannah worked on the bank with Boomer. While Techno broke into the prison, many members of the SMP (Callahan, Eryn, Michaelmcchill, Punz, and Sapnap) visited the bank and asked questions about the workings of it. After Hannah answered the questions, Hannah told the group that she wanted to show her new apartment complex and led the group to Punz's tower. Punz became infuriated that Hannah claimed the building as hers and had a conversation with Hannah, saying that she had seven days to leave and that she was now on his hitlist. In response, Hannah negotiated a deal with Punz where she would leave within seven days after Punz helped her trade with his villagers.[32]
After making the deal, Hannah hung out with the group for a bit and chatted with Boomer and Punz. Punz eventually left after seeing death messages, leaving Hannah and Boomer alone to converse.[33] Boomer mentioned that his hat was sensing something bad and pointed towards the prison, but Hannah tried calm Boomer by assuring him that Sam knew what he was doing and that the prison had lots of security measures in place. Boomer then said that the hat told him someone was on their way to send the two a message, and Hannah continued trying to keep the situation calm by joking about DoorDash and Sam arriving to fire Boomer. The conversation eventually led to Boomer discussing Dream using an unknown power that was connected to Boomer's homeland and Boomer wanting to visit Dream to ask about his homeland, and Hannah directed Boomer to not interact with Dream, citing Dream's crimes and history of being a good manipulator. Hannah also directed Boomer to not tell Sam, thinking that Sam would fire and maybe kill Boomer due to his warden duties.[34]
Upon hearing the withers being summoned by The Syndicate and seeing Ranboo's death in the messages Hannah and Boomer began becoming worried and pondered on whether or not they should go investigate. The two then learned that Dream had escaped after questioning a group chasing Dream composed of Jack Manifold, Punz, Michael, Sapnap, and Bad. Hannah joined the group in the search by using her elytra to fly around and canvas the Overworld. She advocated for everyone to not trust Eryn as it was suspected that he saw where Niki was heading and is covering, which was true.[35]
While Sam spoke to the search party about the situation, Hannah joined the party in blaming Sam for allowing all prisoners to escape so easily and expressing disappointment in him for allowing such an easy passageway in. She was later greeted by Boo, acting kind towards him and giving him food. She began to feel worried after he told everyone that death felt amazing. Hannah asked him what happened in the prison, and he told the story of how Sam threatened him with a picture of MICHAEL and killed him. Hannah didn't speak much as she remembered MICHAEL's kidnapping.[36]
Legacy Arc[]
Losing her wings[]
During Hannah's one-year anniversary celebration on the server, Hannah suggested tearing down her house (which was meant to be temporary) and building a new one. Sam, feeling ecstatic at the idea of blowing up Hannah's old house, rushed to Hannah's house and began placing TNT. However, Hannah's items had not been moved yet, forcing Hannah to rush into her house to relocate her valuables to safety. While looking under the floor of her house for valuables, Boomer ignited the TNT, triggering a chain of explosives that killed Hannah and destroyed all her items including her elytra, "tearing off her wings."[37][38]
Hannah was upset and speechless, and Boomer logged off. Sam invited her to live on his island until the situation is fixed, and Hannah vowed to somehow regain the elytra and kill Boomer. Foolish mentioned that he speak to DreamXD and ask him for a new elytra, and Hannah said she that she would do anything for it. After Hannah, Sam, and Foolish toured Sam's island, Tina and Bad arrived. The group, apart from Tina who insisted she was only there for journalism, then went to blow up Boomer's house. Boomer attempted to convince Hannah not to blow up his house, but she refused and so he declared war on her.[39][40]
War with Boomer[]
Days later on January 27, 2022, Hannah met up with Boomer at the crater of her house. Neither were happy to see each other, and Hannah said that their friendship was over and that she didn't want to work with Boomer at the bank anymore. The two then walked to the bank to meet with Sam for a business meeting. Boomer and Hannah fought as the meeting began, and Sam took control the situation, calling them both disappointments and refusing to fire Boomer or Hannah.[41]
After the three investigated the site of Hannah's house, Connor showed up and began talking to the three, hoping to invest in the bank. Since the three were focused on the business meeting, Connor joined meeting. Hannah and Boomer begin arguing over which side of the argument Connor was on, but Connor just annoyed them by saying he was on the side of whoever's talking. Hoping to move on from the fighting, Sam decided to loan Connor a diamond block. Hannah questioned Sam's decision, and Connor replied by saying that "a good bank has no strangers" and that Sam gets the idea, further pleasing Sam. Hannah continued probing Connor about his past crimes, and Connor said that he had learned his lesson. Boomer then suggested that Connor take Hannah's job. However, Connor refused to take it, instead agreeing on taking a lower position.[42]
After Connor agreed to become a janitor and left, Hannah insisted she was doing a good job by showing all the things she collected. However, Boomer pointed out he collected half of them. Sam decided not to fire either of them, but demanded that the two work their issue out and fix the crater, much to Hannah's annoyance. Following Sam's departure, Hannah told Boomer that she was willing to stop the war if he helped her get her wings back. However, Boomer gave no direct answer and left to his house.[43]
Framed[]
On July 11, 2022, Jack Manifold decided to blow up parts of the Big Innit Hotel to send a message to Tommy. Jack decided to frame it on Hannah, as it was the person who was on at the time that Tommy would suspect the most. After Tommy found the damage, Tommy and Tubbo became detectives and investigated the situation. Eventually, Jack joined the two in his detective outfit and gained their trust, allowing him to point at the fake signs he left that said that Hannah did the crime.[44]
Deciding that Hannah was the main suspect, the three detectives searched for and interrogated Hannah. Despite Hannah's attempts to defend herself, Tommy and Tubbo concluded that she was the perpetrator and put her under arrest. While Jack escorted her to their prison, Hannah privately spoke to Jack and said that she knew the perpetrator was Jack. Jack attempted to defend himself, but Hannah talked Jack into revealing his motive and admitting to the crime. After Jack escorted her to the cell, the detectives continued questioning Hannah. Tommy and Tubbo began suspecting Jack, and Hannah also told the two that Jack admitted to the crime in their private conversation. After Jack admitted to doing the crime to the two detectives, Jack was placed into the cell alongside Hannah. While the detectives were distracted, Hannah and Jack broke out with a wooden pickaxe and TNT and escaped together. Safe from the detectives, Hannah questioned Jack about his intentions for framing her. Jack revealed his past with Tommy and all of his motives, and Hannah expressed some empathy while expressing anger and fear at him for framing her.[45]
Denouement Era[]
Puffy's birthday[]

While traveling to CaptainPuffy's birthday party, Hannah ran into her. They excitedly greeted each other, and Hannah gave Puffy flowers as birthday presents. Hannah reassured that they hadn't forgotten it was her special day, saying that they were making preparations. Puffy reluctantly accepted this. Tubbo then greeted them and gave Puffy more flowers. Hannah was annoyed at him for copying her present, but Tubbo defended himself by saying that he thought everyone was supposed to give her flowers. After the three exchanged more playful banter, Hannah and Tubbo said goodbye to Puffy as she left to go talk to others.[46]
After talking with Puffy, Hannah returned to her base to grab another gift for before heading towards the Community House to meet up with Ant. After conversing about their gifts, the two then went to the museum for Puffy's party with their friends. A few minutes in, Hannah began questioning why Puffy wasn't there yet. BadBoyHalo and some others went to check, and came back reporting that there were blood vines everywhere. Incredulous, Hannah asked whether this was a joke, but Bad and Eryn reassured her they were serious. After they inspected the vines, they decided to investigate the area for clues.[47]
Hannah, Awesamdude, and Antfrost broke off from the main group. After debating on what to do, they went to the room where the Red Banquet was held, which had been mysteriously unsealed. There, they found apple juice on the floor, and after exploring further, they found discarded bandages. Suspicious, they laid the blame on BadBoyHalo and Ponk, as the two were connected to both of the items.[48]
They then ran across the other team, who begin hurling accusations. Hannah's group was blamed for dropping items near Puffy's base, which had been connected to the Egg via a tunnel. Hannah was blamed for leaving behind a rose. The conflict escalated when the opposing team insisted on traveling back to the Egg room to look for Puffy. Hannah's team disagreed, threatening to keep the other team out if they ever tried to stir up trouble.[49]
Confrontation[]
A few days later, Hannah met up with Antfrost, Sam, and Seapeekay in her basement to put their plan of stopping Bad, Eryn, and Ponk into action. Although Hannah and her group intercepted Bad's group at the entrance to the spider XP farm, Ponk provided a distraction that allowed Bad and Eryn to get past them. Hannah, Ant, and Seapeekay followed Bad and Eryn in, while Sam was singled out by Ponk to deal with personal matters.[50]
Hannah, Ant, and Seapeekay eventually caught up with Bad and Eryn in The Egg's final room. There, they found Puffy trapped in a cage above The Egg and immediately accused Bad and Eryn of working with The Egg. Bad and Eryn accused them in response, resulting in a fight that went physical after Ant killed Seapeekay. Hannah battled Eryn while Ant battled Bad. While battling Eryn, Hannah attempted convince Eryn that he was wrong by bringing up that Tommy was against The Egg and that Bad had a history of working with The Egg. After some talking, Hannah suggested that they all talk it out peacefully, tricking Eryn into lowering his guard. With Eryn's guard lowered, Hannah managed to corner Eryn to a corner of the room. However, before being able to deliver the final blows, Bad appeared and hit her into the lava, killing her.[51]

After Hannah died in lava, lost her items, and tried to retrieve her netherite axe, Sam killed the hoglins bothering her and gave her fire resistance potions, an enchanted diamond pickaxe, and a netherite ingot. He also helped her against the Eggpire multiple times, helping her clear the vines on her house twice, rescuing her from the Egg room, and lying to the Eggpire multiple times to keep her location and intent secret. Hannah and Bad met when Hannah began feeling sick from blood vines on her house and removed some with Sam. Hoping to change Hannah's perception of the vines and Egg, Bad, alongside Ant, took Hannah down to the Egg and insisted for her to stay with the Egg. Hannah was skeptical of Bad and suspected that he, the Egg, and Ant were trying to kill her, but eventually agreed to the idea, leading the two to trap her and leaving her.[61] Hannah became more receptive to Egg during her entrapment, but also hid from Bad and the Eggpire under Sam's suggestion after the Eggpire realized she escaped and searched for her.[19]

- Hannah loves to plant roses and place trees around the server, and even has done it for several days. On top of this, flowers and nature "keep her alive" and give her power, as stated by content creator Hannah.[5] This is also the reason the blood vines affect her differently, as they are also nature-based.[72]
- Hannah was the only owner of an elytra on the server, after winning it in a Team Seas event hosted by Dream and MrBeast.
- Her elytra was later blown up by Boomer on her first year anniversary along with Hannah and the rest of her items.[56]
