"I'm Sorry (but not to TommyInnit)" was a video uploaded by Dream onto his channel on January 14, 2025, in which he addresses the controversy and his personal issues regarding TommyInnit and his friends. The video would later be privated on February 15, 2025. The reupload can be found here.
Plot[]
Dream started off with his video talking about Tommy's video titled Dream, which Tommy was saying a lot of stuff about him that was already disproven. Before he got to addressing the lies, Dream first acknowledged and apologized his now-deleted Twitter/X post of the meme (him calling Tommy fans the R slur) and apologized for it.
Dream then begins to talk about Tommy's video in why he was so angry to post the meme directed towards his fans. The reason was revealed to be Tommy and his friends JackManifold and AverageHarry have been spreading disproven lies about Dream for over a year and a half. Dream recalled when he had false allegations against him it was one of the hardest times of Dream's life. He then called out Tommy and his friends continue to spread joke about and support the lies. Dream showed Tubbo's clip of confirming the lies happening with the jokes like being pedophiles.
Dream talked about his The Truth video debunking the allegations and mentions the accusers came forward and admitted they (the allegations) were not true. Dream said he thought it would be the end of it (the drama), but Tommy and his friends would kick him while he was down by calling him a pedo anyway (despite the allegations being false). Dream then shows another clip of Tubbo saying that the friend group needs to “stop calling a Dream a pedophile for cheap laughs”. Dream also shows Tommy's clip of claiming his friends have good hearts, however Dream opposed, saying after, "like yeah, I know you're upset because they call you a pedo BUT they have big hearts”
Dream then attempts to debunk Tommy's claim of Dream and his friends being sexist which Dream responds with questioning what is this about and where is Tommy's context or evidence. He even calls out Tommy's racist behavior behind the scenes and calls it unacceptable and says shame on you (directed to Tommy).
He later brings up a time Tommy interviewed Sapnap back in Vidcon 2024 for one of his YouTube videos, which Sapnap is shown to be uncomfortable. Dream additionally showed a clip of Hasanabi's 9/21/24 Vod saying that Tommy tried to interview George for the same video, but he walked away since he did not want be in Tommy's video. He also talks and shows evidence of Tommy being friends Logan Paul in private for the benefits, however publicly he seems to shame Logan.
Dream even talked about when he gave Youtube advice because he thought Tommy was extremely talented and wanted to be a YouTuber. They called for hours a day talking strategies and ideas—Dream even showed clips of Tommy speaking positively about those calls and Dream in general. He even mentions that the Dream SMP would have not been what it was without any of the creators around, even Tommy.
He also added that his merch brand is a family business, however, due to the false allegations that Tommy spread about it, Dream's family merch company struggled. He even brought up Tommy's merch designs are good, but the company supports hard child labor and also scammed a bunch of his viewers and multiple other creators.
Dream then brings up Tommy's claim of putting more effort (on his videos) than Dream. Dream responds that he enjoys making video with his friends and is a coder to code new Minecraft mods and making everything for his channel, even mentioning he edits his own videos. Unlike Tommy's claim of more value with podcast and book. He mentions this because there’s proof of Tommy’s editors working for minimum wage, or no pay at all, as well as him hiring his own fans to edit for him.
Dream then debunks Tommy's claim of harassing his mother. He showed his only message to Sarah (Tommy’s mother) with the start saying "Just thought I'd let you know that I don't agree with lots of people replying to you and don't want you to be attacked at all". It was due to Tommy's mom was arguing with Dream's fans on Twitter of Tommy making fun of Dream's stutter. The rest of the message explains that he didn't with his fans that Tommy's portrayal of my stutter was ableist and letting her know he did not like the rest of the video. Tommy additionally showed no evidence of the claim of Dream harassing his mom.
Dream lastly talks about Tommy talking about the age they were back then. Dream mentions he did not treat Tommy like a kid, he treated him like “a friend and colleague”. He addresses that they did have occasional disagreements, but it was because he treated Tommy like an equal. Dream even showed the clip of Tommy showing his channel and saying, “everything else on my channel you can thank Dream for”.
Dream then ends it off with, "Tommy, the truth is you don't care enough that I used that word to make this video, especially because you know my own personal struggles. You realize that it's something that you can use against me to promote your channel and all of the things you literally promoted for almost a minute at the end of the video. And, I mean, you talk about how terrible of a person I am while leaving up videos with my sister and mom and, of course, dozens with me while lying and exaggerating about me, harassing your mom, and bringing up her divorce that I didn't even know about and have nothing to do with. But, Tommy, I'm not going to suggest that you got to therapy like you did with me. Because you feel strongly enough to make an entire dedicated video on your channel hating on me, you can go ahead and take down every video of yours that I'm in and I'll take down every video of mine that you're in because if you have backbone you wouldn't want to show support to such no good person. And Tommy you mention being proud of yourself. I'm proud of you too, I'm proud of everything you accomplish, but you don't need to put other people down to lift yourself up. You are talented enough on your own. Happy New Year."

- Prior to this video, Dream talked about the issue with TommyInnit and his friends on Twitch titled: Let's talk TommyInnit and Dream SMP Drama (Detective Dream) on January 12, 2025. This led to Tubbo responding on Twitch in which Dream used clips while not saying his name.
