I added humans to Minecraft... is a Project fusion video uploaded on July 29, 2024 by Dream. This video features a 3D IRL look of a player featured on Minecraft over their own Minecraft skin. This also features several of their friends' reaction to the 3D IRL look.

  • There was a short video as a teaser to this video back in January 1, 2024 called Minecraft is back.
  • Dream wanted to merge a 3D IRL of anyone into Minecraft. This idea was inspired 13 years ago and he spent a year developing it. There are eighteen cameras capturing every angle of whatever one wants to show in Minecraft built in a Basketball court. Items the person is holding are also shown.
  • Around a million dollars were spent on the project.[1]
  • The players who were shown in-game with the cameras were Dream, George, Sapnap, Gia, Drista, and Ken (Dream’s manager).
  • The friends the Dream Team invited to see their reactions were BadBoyHalo, Skeppy, CaptainPuffy, CaptainSparklez, Antvenom, and Sylvee.
  • This is the first time Drista is shown, albeit in 3D on Minecraft. She was previously heard in past streams during 2020-2021.
  • Unlike Minecraft mechanics, several IRL features are added.
    • Punching and kicking from any direction at a player inflicts damage.
    • Kicking a drop item will get toss like IRL.
    • The size can be altered to a titan and can destroy items nearby, which Dream, George, and Sapnap used to destroy some structures on the Dream SMP.
    • Death animation upon dying is featured while being covered in a red filter.
  • Dream mentions his brother, Callahan, Ken, George, and Sapnap were involved in the project.[2]
  • Dream revealed at the end that a new series is happening called "Manhunt 2". It will be called Minecraft Titan vs. Speedrunner.[3]
  • Sometime after it was uploaded, Sapnap shared a screenshot of him with Bad and Dream.[4]
  • On July 31, 2024, Sapnap shared clips of several items he tested with the new tech on TikTok. He showed dribbling a basketball, ate cookies, juggling a soccer ball, and FaceTime George, and showing a electric bike.[5]
  • On August 5, 2024, Dream talked more of the Fusion technology with Awesamdude when he streamed.
    • Dream mentions Patches will be in.[6] Sapnap may do a video with Milo in it.[7] It is confirmed that cat detection and cat skeleton is already coded.[8]
    • Dream showed more animations that were not in the video. One of them is the animation of George from 5:26 of the video.[9]
  • Dream, George, and Sapnap have done a total of 11 “suggestive” gestures while in their 3D models in this video. The most replayed gesture is when Dream takes off his clothes during his death animation.[10]
