• Philza is the only member of the Dream SMP to be featured in the official Minecraft channel series Meet a Minecrafter.
• Philza is a Pisces.
• Philza is also known as "Philza Minecraft" due to his abilities in survival hardcore Minecraft.
  • Due to his nickname, people joke that he made the game altogether.
• Phil had a large boost of fame from dying in his hardcore world after five years.
  • There is splash text on the default Minecraft title screen referencing this saying, "Ph1lza had a good run!"
  • As this death was largely due to a baby zombie, there is a running joke that baby zombies are his weakness.
• Philza met his wife, Kristin, on Twitch when she was trying to learn how to play Minecraft and Phil gave her a tour of his hardcore world.
• Philza is the oldest player on the Dream SMP.
  • It is often joked that he's the 'dad' or 'grandpa' of the server for this reason.
• On his season four hardcore world, Philza dyed and renamed a sheep "friend" after Ghostbur's blue sheep on the Dream SMP.
  • He also dyed a sheep red, named it "enemy", and took it to the nether.
