—Michael desecrating Schlatt's grave. |
Michaelmcchill, also known as Michael, is one of the newest members of the Dream SMP, being the thirty-fourth, joining on May 16, 2021.
Physiology[]
Michael appears as a human with light skin, black eyes and black hair (from Runescape). He wears a Hunter's Bandoleer, black pants with kneepads, and black shoes.
History[]
Empowerment Arc[]
Joining the server[]
Michael logged on for the first time on the Dream SMP on May 16, 2021. Michael met Philza who gave him some items and told him not to head down to the Egg and then walked around the server. Later, Michael got a tour around the server from Foolish Gamers. He visited almost every major place on the SMP. Michael confirmed that he was known for being destructive. He did various things, including "peeing" on Schlatt's grave, breaking a piece of grass that he claimed should never have been broken, and pretending to be Dream. He also met CaptainPuffy and visited a graveyard.
L'Sandberg[]
Michael was asked by Foolish and Puffy if one of the turtles on L'Sandberg's 'Shelly x Sheldon Forever Island' should be sacrificed due to it being "illegal land." Though Michael was hesitant, he agreed after learning about Foolish's death during the Red Banquet.
Breakout attempt[]
On May 27, Dream messaged Michael through in-game chat, asking him to break him out of Pandora's Vault. Michael agreed, and Dream sent him the coordinates of the prison, warning that Sam would take all three of his canon lives if he was caught. Michael broke three blocks of the prison before Sam confronted him. He fled as Sam sent him death threats, stating that the only reason Michael would be allowed to live was because he didn't understand the gravity of what he was trying to do. Sam then left and Michael promised Dream that he would be back and started thinking about his next attack.
Sam confronted Michael shortly after, saying that Dream had not been broken out was because he was the guardian. He warned that he would take all of Michael's canon lives if he ever touched the prison again and to be mindful of who he was stealing from. He mentioned that there were 8 more layers of obsidian and that Michael had tripped an alarm.
This event is very likely now decanonized, as Michael refers to Dream as "a man that I've yet to meet" in his first radio broadcast.[2]
Tour of Las Nevadas[]
On June 6, Quackity offered to tour Michael around Las Nevadas. Michael did not respond in time, leading to Quackity jokingly saying the invite had expired and asking Puffy instead. Michael and Puffy pleaded for Michael to join the tour and Quackity finally allowed him. BadBoyHalo and Skeppy joined them at McPuffy's before the tour. Michael toured the country and later forced Bad inside of Quackity's strip club, after he tried to escape. Quackity tried to "apologize" for the "bad experience" by leading Michael to the back, and trying to jokingly mug him, but Michael re-armed himself and escaped. Michael spent a while with the group before separating and building a statue at Las Nevadas.

"Over the last 5 months, I've been in a difficult spot. I've met many an individual. some who have made me feel welcome, and some who have done the relative opposite. they told me if I built a wooden house I should've expected it to burn. and it did. well, they claimed it a 'practical joke' and put out their fires. I heeded their warning and moved. far away. living in isolation, for the last few months, has taught me many a thing.
one; self-reliance is an important key.
two; when you're alone, you have nothing to rely on.
and three; actions matter much more than words.
while I don't have enemies, I also don't have friends either. my distance has been kept for reasons, and they're mine alone. I'll always be friendly with locals, but, in more situations than not, I've definitely felt threatened. [sighs] I've heard nothing of rumors of good and bad, some telling stories of a man that I've yet to meet, locked away for life. some, ghost stories. the further I get away from L'Manberg, the clearer my mind becomes. no longer do the stories come knocking. when I'm here, nothing enters my walls. when I leave, I know what to expect, and the dangers that may or may not entail. don't believe everything you hear, or maybe you should. if anybody hears this, good. keep my warning, and stay away from L'Manberg. while it doesn't have a name, and it's nowhere near completion, my coordinates are -10 6200. come and find Serenity." The twitch chat moderators spammed the chat with "#FindSerenity".

[Radio channels are changed for the first 10 seconds.]
I apologize for the recent radio silence, but I'll be honest I actually liked my own peace and quiet. Since I've left the greater L'manberg area, I've had the time to breathe and recollect my own thoughts. Although, I have heard very little coming from town I've had a new visitor not very long ago. While he couldn't stay long, his company was nice. We exchanged pleasantries, and he was quickly on his way. A few days ago, I went back into town. I was invited to a dinner for friends. While I didn't necessarily know a lot of the people too well who were there, it was nice. It makes me wonder, though. From what I've been told, when there's a big get-together, things usually end up heading south. And pretty quickly, at that.
Before anything could even happen, though, it was over. We didn't even get to eat. The faces were nice. It felt like what should be the norm - to have a sit down. Even though the intended purpose of our visit did not get to happen, but like I said - things have just been quiet. Simply put. Around here, anyways.
Now that I think about it, I have felt more productive than ever. I've continued to build my base of operations, I have found myself enjoying more of my own hobbies. Believe it or not, I've been taking up farming. And I've started putting together more of the pieces. The pieces.
I've went back and forth between here and town, occasionally. Going off of things I've heard and things I've personally witnessed - I've started to see a big picture in all of this. Maybe I'm overreacting, or maybe everybody else is just working in from the corners. Eitherway I still have some discomfort. I don't even know if anybody is listening to me. I have no idea. But, weirdly that gives me comfort. It does. Being able to come and give my confessional to a microphone, stored away in my hidey-hole, has given me a feeling of more control than I have ever previously had.
I don't know what I would do if I couldn't do this. If this was taken from me, I'd probably go crazy. I've noticed that this is slowly becoming my diary. While I go off, raving the ideas of isolation, in my own edge of extinction, this gives me comfort. The person who doesn't have anybody to speak to, finally, has a voice. Maybe all of this talking will have done me well. I plan on going into town in a few days. Maybe the locals will still be friendly. Maybe I really have, honestly, looked at all of this wrong.
[Michaelmcchill's cover of Daft Punk's "Instant Crush" begins to play.]
The question I keep asking myself is: "Do I leave what I have made here for myself or do I stay in my own man-made bunkers?" Eitherway, maybe, I will find more pieces. But if not, I'll still have serenity."

While asking others about the circumstances of Dream's incarceration, Michael initially was skeptical of Sam's competency in managing the prison in a morally sound manner. However, Michael helped Sam attempt to re-detain the prisoners during the prison break, so their relationship is currently neutral. |

Michael and Bad's first interactions were during the L'Sandberg conflict, in which he agreed that one of the turtles of Shelly x Sheldon Forever Island should be sacrificed, saying that Foolish's death at the Red Banquet was unjust. Michael also blocked off the entrance of the strip club alongside Quackity and Puffy when Bad tried to escape, meaning he may hold slight ill will.
Despite Bad frequently flip-flopping his stance and beliefs during the altercation, Michael went with him and Antfrost to investigate the possibility of Bad's allegations that Foolish was an alien. Despite being accused of being one himself multiple times during the investigation, Michael still not only took Bad's side when the latter was opposed, but didn't entirely shut him out by the end when Foolish proved that he was not, in fact, an alien. |
Positive

CaptainPuffy joined the server, to which Michael immediately greeted her. They ended up meeting up, Puffy showing Michael her house and around the SMP. They ended up going to Foolish's summer house, Puffy mentioned how Tombee was originally taken from her by Foolish and Eret. Michael insisted that they should steal it back, and so they did. They also traveled to a graveyard containing everyone who had lost all three lives and went to the spider XP farm. During the L'Sandberg conflict, Michael supported Puffy and Foolish's decision to sacrifice one of the turtles. Puffy allowed Michael to join the tour of Las Nevadas, and helped her and Quackity block off the entrance of the strip club so BadBoyHalo could not escape. |
Neutral/negative

During his first radio broadcast, Michael stated Dream is "a man that I've yet to meet," implying that the two have never spoken before. All of Michael's knowledge of him prior to this broadcast was secondhand, described as "rumors" or "stories" specifically. Since Michael helped Sam fight Dream during the prison break, we can assume that his relationship with Dream is slightly negative. |
Positive
|
Foolish gave Michael a tour around the server, and they seemed to get along well. He donated a trident to Michael after throwing his own trident at him from the tops of towers. Foolish also impersonated other members with their heads, bouncing off of Michael's humor. Michael supported Foolish's and Puffy's decision to sacrifice one of the turtles during the L'Sandberg conflict, and agreed that Foolish's death during the Red Banquet was unjust.
Despite Bad and Antfrost's insistence and initial success in convincing Michael that Foolish could possibly be an alien, Foolish explained his side and convinced Michael that he was not one, saving his reputation and the two's positive relationship. |
Neutral/negative
|
Though neither have spoken before to our knowledge, Michael did pee on Schlatt's grave while, at the same time, saying "Miss you Jschlatt," implying that the two possibly had history before the events of the server. |
Positive
|
Phil was one of the first members Michael interacted with. Phil gave him netherite armor and a sword so he could protect himself, suggesting a friendly relationship between the two. |
Neutral/positive
|
Quackity had not met Michael before, but still asked him if he wanted to tour his country of Las Nevadas. Michael did not respond in time, but with some pleading from Puffy he was allowed to join them. Michael seemed to get along with Quackity, but they hold slight ill will to each other after Quackity tried to mug Michael. |
