Ponk, better known online as DropsByPonk, is a friend of the Dream Team and Twitch streamer. His first appearances were from numerous livestreams from the members on the earlier Dream SMP streams.

Username[]
Ponk stated on livestream that he got the username idea from his cousin.[4] He liked the word, but later after starting to use it, he found out that it can be used as a slang word for weed.
Meeting Dream[]
Ponk met and befriended Dream on MCPVP. According to Ponk, Dream did not know George at the time.[5]
Meeting George[]
According to Ponk's livestream on June 24, 2020, he met George through MCPvP after George joined a TeamSpeak channel without asking. Ponk got into an argument with George, but they eventually became good friends and often hang out together. The two went to Winter Wonderland together and sold designer sneakers for profit.
Starting off[]
Ponk was first introduced to the viewers of the Dream Team during Dream's SMP stream on May 8, 2020. Ponk has since gained many followers on Twitch, and regularly streams himself playing the Dream SMP, Minecraft events, Minecraft speedrun attempts, drunk streams, and has also streamed himself playing horror games such as Outlast, Outlast 2, and Five Nights at Freddy's. Ponk occasionally will stream with a face cam while wearing his mask.

- Ponk's favorite color is red.
- In another stream, he claimed that it was clear, but then changed his answer to red.
- Ponk was born in Johannesburg, South Africa[6] and currently lives in the United Kingdom. He also grew up in Durban before moving to the UK.
- When asked by a donation about what South African languages he spoke, Ponk stated that he spoke fluent Zulu.
- He is currently studying film production.[7]
- Ponk is African and part Korean.

- Ponk has mentioned the wiki on his streams multiple times, once saying that he knows about it, second mentioning that the page for his lemon tree should be updated, as he'd made progress on its third location, and third saying that the tree had been burnt down so many times that there was a wiki page about it. On November 6, 2020, he became the second of two creators that have joined the wiki's Discord.[11]
