Skeppy is the sixteenth member of the Dream SMP, joining on July 18, 2020. He is a citizen of the Badlands and formerly, of the Dream SMP. He missed some key conflicts, being seen missing during the Disc Confrontation and during both festivals. He is a firm supporter of the Badlands and is a friend of multiple people on different factions on the SMP. He played a major role in the blood vines, being the first person to be corrupted by the Egg and BadBoyHalo's main motivation throughout the arc.
In the Early Dream SMP, Skeppy was most notable for having possession of one of Tommy's discs, Cat. Skeppy was best friends with BadBoyHalo and joined the Badlands alongside him. As the Egg emerged, Skeppy was horrified of the effects it was having on his friends, mainly BadBoyHalo. Skeppy encased the Egg with obsidian, but trapped himself inside. When he was released, he had turned red and had expressed no emotions or desire other than being with the Egg. Skeppy had lost a canon life to BadBoyHalo by him accidentally pushing him into lava after an argument.
Physiology[]
Skeppy appears as a sentient anthropomorphic diamond block. He has black eyes and a mouth with a red tongue. He also occasionally wears a duck onesie. When exposed to the Egg, the color of his skin turns red, although his skin is likely still made of diamonds. Bad has claimed that Skeppy's canon height is 2'2, but this has not been confirmed by Skeppy. [4]

He is cocky and energetic to a degree, as his main goal on the server seemingly being to cause as much chaos as possible.
Egg Possession[]
After a prolonged period of exposure to the Egg's influence, Skeppy became completely overtaken by its influence. He talked in a monotone voice and expresses no emotion other than happiness when being close to the Egg. He also did not show any interest in anything unrelated to the Egg.
History[]
Early Dream SMP Arc[]
Skeppy joined before the Dream Team SMP vs. L'Manberg War only to troll Tommy and grief his house. He burned one of Tommy's music discs, painfully souring their relationship.
L'Manberg Independence Arc[]
After the war, Skeppy rejoined the server and started playing. He built his house at the end of Prime Path and managed to gain possession of Tommy's Cat disc after trading Spirit's leather with Dream.
Manberg Rebellion Arc[]
After another period of inactivity, Skeppy returned to the server during the Manberg Rebellion to find his house griefed. He still had possession of Cat, but transferred it to BadBoyHalo and made a promise to keep it between them. The two then demolished his old house and replaced it with a giant quartz mansion, protecting the foundation with obsidian and building a vault below the mansion. He subsequently joined the Badlands because of Bad's involvement in the faction and general alignment with their goals.
Non-Canon: August 1-10[]
Skeppy logs on to the Dream SMP, and he says that no one is on, and goes around exploring the SMP.

Corruption[]

As the Egg brainwashed Antfrost and BadBoyHalo, Skeppy was left seemingly unaffected. He was disturbed by both it and Bad's relation with it, asking for Awesamdude to help clean up its growths within his mansion. After the Egg was covered in obsidian, effectively freeing the brainwashed people, Skeppy broke the shell, causing those formerly affected to become brainwashed again. Later on, Skeppy seemingly sacrificed himself by covering the Egg with obsidian and trapping himself within. This caused the formerly-brainwashed trio to work to destroy the surrounding growths and blood vines, trying to figure out a way to save Skeppy.
Bad ended up freeing Skeppy, but the prolonged period of close exposure to the Egg heavily brainwashed him, turning him bright red as opposed to his normal blue. Bad attempted to bring back Skeppy's memories and autonomy to him (using sand, the world-edit axe, blue dye, 14, etc.), but he showed no interest. Skeppy expressed that he felt "euphoric" thanks to the Egg. Unlike the previously corrupted bunch, Skeppy did not attempt to lure anyone under the Egg's influence. Instead, he just wanted to go back to his obsidian prison. Skeppy also moved from his house into a small hut.
Empowerment Arc[]
First Canon death[]
On April 18, 2021, BadBoyHalo went into the Egg Room that had been decorated with a table and a dance floor in preparation for the Red Banquet. He noticed Skeppy on top of the Egg and tried to coax him down, to which Skeppy refused, telling Bad to leave him alone. When trying to convince Skeppy to go on a walk with him, Bad said that if Skeppy hadn't been there when Quackity tried to blow up the Egg, it would have been destroyed. Bad pleaded with Skeppy, telling him to stay away from the Egg. Skeppy yelled back, calling him selfish for not wanting him to spend time with the Egg. Bad retaliated in disbelief and shock, demanding Skeppy to apologize for calling him selfish after all the sacrifices he's made for their friendship. Skeppy refused, which lead to Bad hitting him a couple of times before finally punching him into a small pool of lava, killing him and taking away his first canon life. Skeppy then appeared at Big Daddy Island, calling out to Bad. It was unclear if BadBoyHalo was also at the island.

Skeppy and Bad used to be one of the closest pairs in the Dream SMP. Despite occasionally arguing with one another, the two would do anything for each other at the end of the day. However, that came to a halt when the infection of the Crimson Egg had corrupted Bad. After the question, "Do you love the Egg more than me?" that Skeppy increasingly pressed on Bad, it had come clear that their relationship was no longer what it was before. In a moment of clarity from the Egg's effect on him, Bad told Skeppy he would choose him, and showed little concern for the Egg after Skeppy trapped himself inside of it – eager to save his favorite person no matter what.
After Skeppy was corrupted, their relationship had strained further. He showed apathy towards Bad. The rift only continued to grow. As Bad became fully corrupted by the Egg, he lost hope in ever saving Skeppy. During the confrontation with Quackity, It's heavily implied that Skeppy is Bad's heart's one desire; the Egg promised Bad that as long as Bad succumbs to the corruption, that he can be with Skeppy. Throughout everything, all the chaos and pain, all Bad wants is Skeppy, and if it means being brainwashed and used as a pawn, then so be it. However, he expresses some concern about the amount of time Skeppy is spending with the Egg despite also being corrupted. Bad cares about Skeppy more than he cares for the Egg. |

Puffy often acts as a "discount Skeppy" for Bad, and the two tend to have a rivalry on who is the "better Skeppy." They have a positive relationship overall, as Skeppy let Puffy live near him in his new hut. |

Skeppy was previously against the Egg, but was corrupted after being trapped inside for an extended period of time. Unlike the others who were corrupted by it, he didn't try to get anyone else infected, but instead just wanted to go back to inside the obsidian where the Egg is. It seemed that there is still a little bit of Skeppy left in him though, due to Puffy shooting him off a tower with an arrow and him doing an MLG water, something he is known for being good at, and Bad almost broke through to him after offering to meet up IRL.
It is theorized that instead of the Egg acting as voices inside the corrupted's heads, it is directly controlling Skeppy, having taken over his body and turned it red. He was cured later on, however it's unknown whether or not that stream was canon or not. Skeppy is currently controlled by the Egg and would rather hang out on the Egg than with Bad, telling him that they aren't friends. Bad also mentions that Skeppy is the one who repaired the Egg after Quackity's explosion. |

- Dream planned to imprison Skeppy inside his vault as leverage against BadBoyHalo, claiming that he was the one thing Bad cared about.
