The Post-Banishment Era is an era of broken relationships and retribution. TommyInnit is once again banished, forming Logstedshire with Ghostbur. L'Manberg, now a communist state, seeks to form alliances with the Badlands and Boomerville and annex neutrals of the server into their nation to defend against foreign threats. GeorgeNotFound, the dethroned king of the Greater Dream SMP, is on a campaign to reclaim his throne, which he states is rightfully his.

- Dream escorts Tommy, along with Ghostbur, outside of the main server grounds and out towards the eastern reaches of the ocean.
- On the way, they pass one of Tommy's holiday homes, The Cube, which Dream promptly blows up.
- In L'Manberg, Quackity and Fundy continue to dispute Tubbo's decision and Quackity argues that Tubbo has essentially given power to Dream. The three all agree to move on, admitting that Tubbo may not have been thinking logically.
- After they return to the Camarvan, Fundy reveals a L'Manberg Hitlist to his fellow cabinet members which details the power of Ghostbur, Schlatt, Technoblade, and Dream, as well as the need to kill them. The two major targets are the living members, Techno and Dream.
- Dream builds a dirt house for Tommy and Ghostbur in the middle of nowhere. Soon after, all of Tommy's belongings are destroyed and his spawn point is changed, leaving Tommy stranded and far from civilization. Dream gives Tommy some food and a stack of obsidian blocks, which Tommy burns later, refusing to receive "pity items".
- Quackity reveals a secret "butcher" room to Tubbo and Fundy, covered with anti-Techno propaganda posters.
- There, they make a plan to murder Techno first, saving Dream for later.
- Quackity is officially given the position of Vice President of L'Manberg, and Fundy is promoted to Secretary of State.
- The Tubbo Administration vows to fully work together in the future. They plan to create and spread more anti-Techno propaganda, as well as building up a Butcher Army to take him down.
- As they count their allies, they also plan to create a sturdy alliance between their nation and the Badlands.
- After the meeting, Tubbo rallies all online citizens of L'Manberg to the podium, announcing that L'Manberg would fight as one with its citizens and allies as one commune, formally changing their government/ideology to Marxist Communism.
- Tommy and Ghostbur find a village near their dirt house, then begin planning a campsite for Tommy to build up the power to return to L'Manberg. Ghostbur mentions to Tommy that Techno is planning to visit them.

- Dream meets the L'Manbergians outside the walls and confirms that Tommy is now far away and exiled. Dream tells them that he'll take down the walls and will give them the obsidian from it. He also officially declares L'Manberg as independent and free, claiming that he'd support them in any future wars or rebellions. He also suggests the opening of trade routes and positive relations between L'Manberg and the main Dream SMP.
- As they continue to build up their new camp, Tommy and Ghostbur reflect on their shared memories and experiences during the rise, fall, and reconstruction of L'Manberg. Ghostbur proposes that he and Tommy could be labeled as "Lads on Tour" while they live far away. Techno soon visits their camp and mocks the tragic irony in Tommy's history, he offers no help, but keeps them company as Tommy slowly gets back on his feet. Techno mentions to Tommy that if he wanted his discs back, then maybe he was working with the wrong people. Tommy and Ghostbur work on their new campsite surrounded by a wall of stripped birch wood logs, and place an oak log on its side in a corner which they name the Prime Log. Ghostbur places a "forbidden" apple in an item frame on top of the log.

As Sapnap leaves, and the sun begins to set, Quackity looks out at the sunset, and wonders what is to come next for both L'Manberg and Mexican L'Manberg.
- Quackity calls George asking about how he feels after what Dream did. Quackity informs him about the Butcher Army, and mentions that they may gain enough power to dethrone Eret. George comes up with the idea of using the giant wall facing L'Manberg as a propaganda wall for the Butcher Army. The pair take down the spruce trees in L'Manberg that are obscuring the view of the wall. Quackity uses the spruce logs to rebuild the outline of his restaurant in Mexican L'Manberg.
- After the sun sets, Tubbo and Ranboo sit atop the highest points of Mexican L'Manberg and look down on L'Manberg together. He places the image on a high platform near the L'Manberg Embassy. Jack realizes that Tommy is exiled from the entire SMP area, not just L'Manberg, rendering his plan useless.
- Jack decides to target George instead, taking the clay from Tommy's holiday home to put it inside George, Quackity, and Sapnap's mushroom house in L'Manberg, which is now submerged in water due to Phil's rain flooding project.

- Sapnap holds Quackity at arrow point. He blames Quackity for making the plan fall apart. Quackity reminds Sapnap that the gold from Eret's throne is still in their ownership, and that the plan is still in action.
- Dream tells the four that it is their fault since they vandalized Eret's castle and that they had no right to start a protest.
- Quackity gets into a private call with Dream. Dream says he cannot make Mexican L'Manberg an independent nation since Quackity is not a responsible leader, unlike Tubbo. Quackity tells Dream that he will give back the gold from Eret's throne and the stone bricks taken from the walls of Eret's castle.
- Dream and Quackity get Eret into the call and Eret explains his point of view. Quackity asks Eret to make Mexican L'Manberg its own nation, and Eret refuses. - Dream, Sam, and Ant try to drown Bad to steal his trident. Bad escapes but gets killed by Dream. Bad chases after Sam, trying to get his items back. The three return his stuff except for his trident. Bad retrieves his trident after Sam pretends to destroy it and hides it instead.
- Bad shows Punz the red egg in the cavern, asking if he can hear it speak. Sam and Punz notice that Bad and Ant are very protective of the egg, willing to murder anyone that goes near it. Ant types an encrypted message in game chat, which disturbs Punz.
- Punz and Sam leave the cavern, agreeing to not do anything with the egg and its blood vines until they get more allies.
- Bad and Ant harvest parts of the egg and place red roots, composed of crimson nylium, in the bedrooms of Sam's mountain base, intending to spread the vines further. They feed the roots rotten flesh to help it grow. Sam catches the two in his base and forces them to leave. Sam then shows Bad and Ant his new spider XP farm before leaving for the night.

Sam and Punz attempt to set the egg and its vines on fire, but Ant and Bad stop them. Ant sends Sam an encrypted message, translating what he hears from the egg. Bad gives Sam permission to break the blood vines around the Greater Dream SMP, but tells him that the egg is "off-limits". However, Bad warns Sam that the Crimson will eventually take over everyone on the server, sooner or later.
- Off-stream, Sam returns to Dream's trident farm and gets three more tridents. Dream also obtains a few more tridents, planning to sell them to other members of the server. He decides to take down the trident farm and then sells tridents to Fundy, Phil, and Ant.

- The four hold a meeting and then head over to Phil's L'Manberg house.
- They try to pry Techno's location from Phil via interrogation. Phil refuses to give up the location, saying that he isn't loyal to the country at all and that Techno has changed his ways and that he's loyal to his son only.
- Techno checks on his farms and heals the zombie villagers at his base while the three probe Philza for his location.[10]
- As the Butcher Army ransacks Phil's house, Tubbo finds the lodestone compass that Techno gave Phil, which points to Techno's cabin. Phil is put under house arrest for not cooperating and is given an ankle monitor (iron boots). The Butcher Army then trap him in his own house. Phil privately messages Techno, warning him that the Butcher Army is on their way.
- Techno receives Phil's message and starts preparing for war, brewing several types of potions.
- Ghostbur arrives at Techno's house and Techno tells him to leave since he knows that the Butcher Army is after him. Ghostbur spots a blue sheep and Techno gives him a lead to leave with the sheep.
- Phil fixes up some of his house and then takes off his ankle monitor. He puts on a creeper head as a disguise and leaves his house to find Techno.
- As the Butcher Army approaches Techno's cabin, they meet Ghostbur. Ghostbur notes that Dream told him that the beach party was rescheduled and that Logstedshire was blown up so he shouldn't return. Dream had sent him into the wilderness, where he got lost and found Techno's cabin. The group reassures Ghostbur that they aren't there to kill him, and Ghostbur runs to the house to get Techno.
- Techno meets the Butcher Army at the doorsteps of his cabin and tries to tell the four that he's changed, requesting them to leave to prevent any violence. He attempts to distract the group with bees before being caught. Ranboo asks for a peaceful resolution, while Quackity, Tubbo, and Fundy take out their axes. Phil and Ghostbur watch the action occur from a distance.
- Techno chooses to fight back instead of going peacefully. He manages to kill Fundy and Tubbo. Quackity holds Carl, Techno's horse hostage, telling Techno to cooperate and drop his armor, or he will kill the horse.
- Techno gives up all of his armor, weapons and potions, hoping to keep Carl safe. He secretly keeps some golden apples and carrots, and a totem of undying. The Butcher Army explains that they're putting Techno on trial for his war crimes, and Techno reluctantly complies when Quackity threatens his horse once more.
- Ghostbur joins the group as they make their way back to L'Manberg. He provides a lead for Carl, in exchange for a name tag for the blue sheep that he recently adopted. Techno rates the kidnapping a 1/5 stars, and Tubbo spends five minutes trying to beg him to rate it 5 stars to not ruin his 5 star record of kidnapping.
- Phil hurries back to his house in L'Manberg as the Butcher Army and Techno start leaving.
- In L'Manberg, the Butcher army reveals that they never planned to put Techno on trail. Techno is put in an anvil drop execution chamber. Tubbo gives a speech saying, "Technoblade ruined our country, ruined what made it special." However, he is interrupted by Punz, who places TNT around the execution area.
- As the others chase Punz away, Quackity pulls the lever to release the anvil. Techno uses his totem of undying to give him another life, and flees the scene. Dream rescues Carl, and leads Techno through a tunnel to the remodeled Final Control Room, before leaving again. The Butcher Army is confused by the events.
- Quackity privately confronts Techno in the Final Control Room. Techno presses his luck, saying that he was attacked first and that the Butcher Army needs to kill him to consolidate power. The two begin to duel. Quackity loses the fight and a canon life and Techno steals all of his stuff, including the compass that he gave to Phil.
- Techno digs a tunnel for Carl and escapes with him through the sewers. He exits at Ant's animal sanctuary and starts to make his way back home.
- Quackity, in anger and rage, places the blame on Dream.
- The Butcher Army moves back to the war meeting room, and Quackity argues the case that Dream was involving himself in L'Manberg matters by helping Techno escape. He explains that Punz was there for a reason, leading to Tubbo realizing Dream's involvement.
- They also assume that Dream funded Techno with the totems of undying, falsely believing that they are not legitimately obtainable.
- Tubbo reasons they need a plan and shouldn't just run in and kill him. They plan another festival in L'Manberg to 'celebrate' their friendship with the Greater Dream SMP, which in reality, is a plot to assassinate Dream. Since Dream publicly respects L'Manberg laws, he would be armorless, leaving him vulnerable.
- They plan to start setting up the festival, with Fundy and Ranboo in charge of decorations. Quackity is given the role to kill Dream on the final day. Tubbo excuses himself from the meeting.
- Tubbo travels to Logstedshire to see Tommy, saying that he's sure Tommy misses Tubbo as much as he does.[11]
- He arrives to find the place destroyed, and is led to believe that Tommy has taken his own life, after seeing the block pillar in the sky.
- Ghostbur takes down the execution chamber in L'Manberg, while Phil watches from his house. Ghostbur tries to convince Ranboo to permit Phil to leave his house, but Ranboo replies that he can't, stating that the matter must be resolved legally. Ranboo also says that he is only loyal to the people that have helped him and isn’t aligned with any particular country.
- Techno finally returns to his base and discovers Tommy, who has been living under his cabin.[12]
- Tommy retreats to his den as Techno questions him on what he is doing in his house. Techno finds out that Tommy has been stealing from him.
- Tommy tells Techno about the events of the past two days, saying that he realized Dream was manipulating him, and that he ran away after Logstedshire was destroyed. Tommy also tells Techno about his plans on getting his discs back. Techno gives Tommy an addendum, saying he can leave the house and give him back all of his stuff OR team up together to destroy L'Manberg. Techno attempts to convince Tommy that Tubbo doesn't even care about him anymore. He blames the government for Tommy losing his best friend.
- Tommy reluctantly decides to team up with Techno. Techno reveals his secret massive chamber full of wither skulls and soul sand, along with a plot to destroy L'Manberg with dozens of withers. When he reveals the room, he says the iconic line "Welcome home, Theseus", referencing his original analogy during the Manberg vs Pogtopia War. Techno gives Tommy a new Cat disc, saying that it's the beginning of a brand new friendship.
- With this new alliance and the shifting goals of the Butcher Army, the Post-Banishment Era officially ends, leading to the Vengeance Era.
