The following page contains spoilers for the plot of the Dream SMP.

The execution of Tubbo occurred on October 16, 2020, where Tubbo was exposed as a double agent for Pogtopia at the Manberg Festival and was executed by Technoblade using a firework crossbow. The firework also killed Emperor Jschlatt, which would then prologue the Manberg Massacre.

Tubbo's speech[]
Shortly before it all went down, Tubbo was present on the podium with both Emperor Jschlatt and Vice President Quackity. Schlatt had originally been going on about how they liked to make fun of Tubbo for stuff he had done wrong, and that he considered Tubbo his right-hand man and thanked him for being the Festival Planner. Schlatt would then pass the microphone to Tubbo on the seat, to which Tubbo began presenting the following speech:
| “ | Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, I'm- I actually am-am too short to reach the microphone, so it doesn't, you know, quite like Schlatt, but. A wise man once told me that L'Manberg was like a lettuce. There's so many layers of tasty and healthy goodness, and once you wash all the caterpillars and worms off the surface, it's a pretty goddamn good meal.

Schlatt would begin chuckling as the last sentence was being finished. When Tubbo questioned Schlatt, Schlatt responded with "No it's just, I was just thinking about it, Tubbo. You know how we like to have fun. You got anything else in the speech?". Quackity in real life would then begin placing on his sunglasses, with Tubbo answering Schlatt finalizing he had nothing else to say and for the festivities to begin.
Schlatt then walked over to Quackity standing on the far left, and hands him exactly 16 yellow concrete powdered blocks, and requested him to help place multiple blocks to trap Tubbo in the seat. Multiple crowd members begin getting concerned, as this was not a normal or planned act.
Tubbo gets exposed[]
Once being fully confined with blocks surrounding him, Schlatt stated the following:

Vice armor Quackity intervenes here, saying "Tell em, tell em Prezz, tell em...", concluding Quackity also knows the reason for this all occurring.
| “ | Tubbo, I-(sighs), And I mean it-it really sucks for me to say this right here in front of everybody, I mean it's kinda awkward, but- | ” |
Tubbo then repeatedly says during his sentence that he can not get out of the confinement.
| “ | Tubbo, Tubbo, I know what you've been up to. | ” |
When Tubbo asks Schlatt what he had been up to, Schlatt replies with while looking at the crowd,
| “ | "What have I been up to he says, (laughs), what have I been up to (???), with the idiots, wit-with with the, the tyrants (Pogtopia) that we kicked out of this server, that we kicked out of the great country, months ago, w-was it months, was it weeks? I don't even remember. Saturday-time flies when you're having fun, y'know?"

Tubbo answers his question with a simple "No."

Schlatt then requested Technoblade's presence atop the podium.
The execution[]
Once Techno was bought among the three, crowd members began getting even more concerned. Former president Wilbur Soot and former Treasury of State TommyInnit had been hiding atop of a building for the entirety of this incident beginning. Schlatt began another sentence as the following,
| “ | Tubbo as the enemy of the state, and as a perpetrator to these awful, awful people that you are helping. Technoblade please, if you would, if you would be so kind, take care of this traitor. Take care of him. | ” |
At first, Techno assumed Schlatt meant to just take him out of his confinement and get him some breakfast. However, Schlatt became more clear on what he really meant, blurting out by the end of the discussion,

| “ | Techno I need you to uhh, to take him out. | ” |
Quackity then began questioning Schlatt, after what he thought was just going to be a jail sentence. Schlatt made it very clear to Techno to kill him, becoming more angered by the second, and the crowd becoming more upset.
Techno first swung once at Tubbo with a pickaxe, getting him down to moderate level health. Techno repeatedly apologized to Tubbo and attempted to make sure it was a painless death, with Schlatt snickering in the background still.
Finally, after stalling for about 20 seconds, Technoblade fired a single firework head on towards Tubbo, killing Tubbo, Schlatt, and Quackity instantly, with the two latter being accidental deaths (and Quackity's death being non-canon), with about 14 people witnessing the demise. Tommy is then instructed rather worryingly by Wilbur to teleport over to the podium in which he does so, putting Quackity and many others in the crowd into a shock of disbelief.
Aftermath[]

Quackity and crowd members began frantically running up to the podium, in which Tommy killed Quackity, and began fleeing, but not before being caught and killed by other members of the festival.
Wilbur, who had gone in the opposite direction, was having a hard time trying to figure out where he had made the room to the button that could explode Manberg.
Nihachu, who was already close to breaking point, was pushed off the edge at the scene of her friends death and started screaming at Schlatt because of it. This caused her to be the target of another execution, but she escaped to Pogtopia before they could kill her.
The events of the Manberg Massacre took place shortly after, and Technoblade was deemed a traitor by Tommy for Tubbo's murder, sparking the Duel at Pogtopia.
